“Gurudatt and his family were amazing with our pup. They went on multiple walks per day and went to play at the park too. Their dog Bruno is super friendly and was a great play partner for our dog. They sent pictures and videos throughout the stay so I knew she was being well taken care of and happy.”

“Lynn and Marty did a great job with Milo :) I had a last minute trip to Santa Barbara and they were very accommodating. I received consistent updates and photos throughout the day and Milo had a great time playing in their backyard. Will definitely book again!”

“Jeanine was wonderful. Very friendly, great with our dog and and great with us. Our pup frequently get nervous about being left behind, or getting to know other dogs, and by the time we got there for pick up the next day, our dog was comfortable with Jeanine's dogs and was happy to be there. We have already booked a second stay. Thanks Jeanine!”

“Aya and David wore out our high energy dog, and that was exactly what he needed. This was the first time that our dog was away from us overnight so we weren’t too sure how he’d do. He was fine (as Aya and David both gave updates, soothing our worries) and that was a major relief. Our dog also enjoyed visiting a toddler, and he loved her as much as she loved him. Where there are giggles, doggy kisses won’t be far behind. It’s a relief knowing we have Aya and David for the future!”

“Natalia is officially our go to sitter. This was our 1st time leaving our super anxious dog with a stranger. We were given at least daily photo updates and it also looked like she took him to the beach and dog park (Krypto looked really happy in the photo). Natalia had everything already, so next time we go on vacation we just need to provide Krypto's food and supplements. She purchased a toy for him, has a bed, water/food bowls, crate...so I highly recommend Natalia”

“Waffles was so excited to see Gail when we dropped her off. She had a great time with Gail and her dogs. Gail was communicative, and I know Waffles is in good, caring hands when she’s there.”

“Our 12 month old vizsla LOVED Eve!! Our pup can be anxious when not with her family and has high energy needs. Eve was so caring and thoughtful with our pup. And took her on hikes which is our dogs favorite. Eve just might be our pups best friend now. :) would totally recommend Eve! She’s the best.”

“Another amazing stay with Shalon! Little bear is Mr. Social but Ellie who is only 7.5 lbs was nervous around bigger dogs. This is just the second stay and Ellie is enjoying the other dogs . Shalon gives my pups so much love and I would highly recommend her . Great communication and the best pictures!”

“Cara was absolutely amazing! She sent us updates and pictures so we knew that our little guy was doing well, took him all walks and had a great backyard area for him to play! Her care for our dog was completely genuine and loving. I would highly recommend Cara!”

“We’re so grateful that Lara was able to come on such short notice. She was very friendly and prompt and I felt so relieved to know our puppy was in good hands. We would love to have her watch Oscar again and highly recommend her!”

“Kate, Mark and their family took excellent care of our 8 year old golden retriever for 2 weeks. About a month before our trip we took our dog over for a “meet and greet” to see how she would get along with the family and their dog. This went smoothly, so we reserved her stay. A couple days before our departure we dropped off our dog for a 2-3 hour visit to really test her out. Everything went well. While we were away, Kate texted us and sent photos every couple of days and assured us that our dog was safe and happy. We are so grateful that they treated her like a member of the family, lavishing her with love and attention. I would highly recommend Kate and Mark for dog sitting.”

About: I worked summers for 4 years at a pet groomer's where I washed, dried, groomed, and transported dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I also worked as a pet sitter/dog walker for Sitter4Paws, where I walked, fed, cleaned, played with, administered medications, and provided care to dogs. These dogs ranged from puppies to seniors, dogs with medical needs, timid, shy, and stand-offish dogs. I have experience with/walking groups of dogs of all shapes and sizes. I also own a big 90 lb labradoodle who is 11, so I feel very comfortable handling bigger dogs as well! I'm currently a full-time student at UCSB! Aside from my classes, I have a show at the university radio station, KCSB-FM, and occasionally do engineering gigs there for live performances. This leaves me with a lot of free time to take care of your pets! I'm a double major and have held part-time jobs throughout college; therefore, managing my time is no problem at all! I live in a studio apartment across from a park with lots of grass! I have no problem working within whatever confines are needed for your pet, such as potty breaks or preferred sleeping arrangements. I'm able to crate your pets if desired and feel comfortable working however is most desirable to you and your furry friend!

About: I’ve lived with and taken care of dogs since I was a very young kid. My neighbors would frequently trusted me to take care of their dogs or walk them. I volunteer frequently at the animal shelter and have considered adopting for myself. During the summer, my schedule is relatively empty and I am free to watch and play with dogs for the entirety of days. Playing with dogs has always been my favorite way to spend a day, and I am eager to include your pup on any and all activities that go on throughout the day. The safety of dogs is the most important thing. My house is pet friendly and there are no other pets in the house. However, I live a 2 minute walk from the beach and have a car that I frequently take into the Santa Barbara hills for runs and hikes. I lead a very active lifestyle and would be eager to keep your dog active during the day as well. At the same time, if a dog likes to relax, I would be just as excited to hang out at the beach or on the couch. If a dog has high energy, my goal in the past has always been to wear the dog out with fun activities and exercise, and I am always willing to cater to the needs of your pup.

About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life—dogs, cats, and especially puppies. I’ve personally trained two puppies from scratch, so I’m comfortable with the patience and consistency it takes to support a dog through their early years. I have a deep, intuitive connection with animals and often find I understand their energy and needs even better than people’s. I work for myself from home here in Santa Barbara, which means I have plenty of flexibility to give pets the time, attention, and companionship they deserve. Whether it's daily walks, belly rubs, or just a calm, safe space, I approach every animal with genuine care and a tender heart. I’m also very active, so long walks and outdoor time are a highlight for both me and the dogs I care for. I work for myself and from home, so my schedule is very flexible. That means I can easily adapt to your pet’s needs—whether it’s regular walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care. I’ll always make time to give your pet the attention and consistency they deserve. Every animal is unique, and I take the time to understand their individual needs, energy, and comfort level. I’ll meet your dog or cat where they’re at—whether that means extra space, extra snuggles, or gentle structure—with clear, compassionate boundaries to keep them safe and happy. If your pet is staying with me, they’ll be treated like one of my own. I live in a calm, pet-friendly apartment near Santa Barbara City College, with plenty of walkable paths and green spaces nearby. I love getting outside and take dogs on multiple long walks throughout the day. If your dog is social and has solid recall, I can bring them to local off-leash areas for supervised play and exploration. I have one small dog of my own—Pepper, a 3.5-year-old mixed breed who’s very friendly and well-socialized. I also have two young stepsons who are with us 50% of the time, so dogs staying in our home must be kid-friendly. The good news? Your dog will get plenty of love and attention from four caring humans. I’ve trained two of my own dogs from puppyhood and am confident managing a range of behaviors—from leash training to crate routines and basic obedience. I’m also comfortable administering medications and caring for senior pets or those with special needs. For cat care, I’m especially attuned to their unique rhythms and boundaries, and I provide calm, consistent care whether I’m visiting your home or caring for them during a stay. Whether I’m boarding, walking, or house sitting, your pet will be safe, respected, and genuinely cared for—just like family.

“Wendy is really great with dogs! You can tell right away that she is such an animal lover and is the kindest person. I wouldn’t hesitate to have her watch my dog again. Thank you, Wendy!”

“Ryan was amazing with our Andy! We were super stressed looking for a place to stay with her as she just got adopted by us and a lot of people were hesitant about taking a dog straight from a shelter for a few days but Ryan did great with her and provided a ton of updates and photos and went above and beyond. We are so grateful for his help!!”

Sol was great! She was available last minute to help out with Lola. She sent pictures, was responsive, and very professional. I would absolutely trust her with any animal in her care. Lola is special needs and she reassured me that her needs were taken care of while I was out of town. Thanks, Sol- we appreciate your amazing care and attention.

Teslin is wonderful with my dog, Sawyer! He’s always thrilled to see her and her dog, Riggins. He loves their adventures to parks and beaches, and we always receive lots of great photos while we’re away. By the time we pick him up, he’s happily worn out from all the fun and playtime!

Gail was welcoming and understanding. She took care of my senior dog’s meds and accommodated her needs. Moreover, she was flexible with my timing & even allowed my dog to stay an extra day when my flight home was cancelled. Olive will definitely be staying with Gail again. Thank you very much!

The best dog sitter ever! Anastasia is beyond amazing. Not only did she take incredible care of our girl, but her communication was amazing as she gave me daily updates of how our dog was doing, which made me feel so at ease that our girl was well taken care of. I HIGHLY recommend her!!!

We loved Kaitlin! She took such great care of our dog, Hilary Duff. We got lots of photo updates and never had to worry while we were away. Hilary had the best time running around the backyard and hanging out with Kaitlin’s kids—it really felt like she was part of the family. Would absolutely book with Kaitlin again!

Kaylynn (+roommates) were great! Very good on communications, flexible on dropoff/pickup times (I had to drop off and pick up pretty late at night), and sent good pics of Bruiser getting attention. My dog came back ready to go back to his regular routine immediately and not dehydrated, so I know he got the right amount of stimulation and water. I chose Kaylynn based on her description of lifestyle, which was 100% right for my senior dog, it might not be right for all dogs. Bruiser gets dehydrated very easily (inefficient at drinking + drinks a lot), so him coming back not-thirsty indicates to me that Kaylynn was very attentive to his needs.

Stephanie did a great job with my dog Brando! She sent pictures and updates through out the day and he came home a very happy puppy! She was also very easy to communicate with and took him in same day when I was really in a pinch. I definitely recommend her for dog sitting she took very good care of my fur baby

Wonderful family and their dog Stella provided a safe, fun, loving experience for Sage while we took an extended adventure in the South Pacific. Kept me informed of Sage’s activities and behavior in their home with photos, videos, and emails. Sage was happy to see me when I returned but clearly reluctant to leave her new family. I highly recommend this Rover family.

Cecily looked after our boy Frank for two weeks whilst my husband and I were on vacation abroad. We had a really negative experience having had Frank at a boarding facility in the summer, so we wanted to find someone who would treat Frank as their own and we got that with Cecily! She provided daily updates including photos and videos, gave Frank some new experiences (she took him to her stables where he met his first horse!) and Frank made a new friend with her pup Sandy. We would definitely have Cecily look after Frank again and we would recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, responsible and reliable dog sitter.

I’m glad I found Isabella to take care of my pup for a week. It was great to hear that he settled in and slept with her the first night. He ate well, a good sign he was feeling comfortable. Nice to receive pics, too! I’ll be happy to have my pup stay with Isabella again when I need a sitter.

Cara was absolutely amazing! She sent us updates and pictures so we knew that our little guy was doing well, took him all walks and had a great backyard area for him to play! Her care for our dog was completely genuine and loving. I would highly recommend Cara!
