About: I’ve been raised with pets since I was born and care very deeply for animal well being. I currently have three lovely dogs of my own that I take care of and they are my all, but I have plenty of love to spare for your pets. You don’t want them locked up in a kennel while you’re gone and neither do I! I love getting hands on with pets— playing, taking them for walks, etc. They’re you’re family and I’ll treat them like it. I have a history of animal volunteering. I’ve worked at the Prince William Animal Shelter before, so I can handle pets of all sizes and types— shy ones, outgoing ones, and all in between. I take this seriously because your pet matters to me as much as it matters to you. I work in a creative field, so my schedule in extremely flexible, and I'm always looking for a chance to help others who aren't as lucky as I am in this regard to care for their pets as much as they deserve to be cared for. I always try to meet pets where they're at, because I understand that each one has their own personality and preferences which deserve to be respected. I also aim to provide a feeling a safety to animals, and match their energy levels so that they don't feel overwhelmed or understimulated.

“As always, Ligia did an amazing job checking in on my fur babies. Definitely puts me at ease knowing she’s there to care for Loki and Odin whenever I’m on travel.”

“Kristen is awesome and very sweet. She is quick and effective with her communication, and you can tell she truly loves working with your pet. She’s my first sitter and my dog has really bad anxiety, but yet she was still able to trust Kristen when dropping in. 10 out of 10!”

“What can I say? Holli is simply phenomenal! This was our first trip away from the boys and there was some trepidation on our part. We booked Holli for a familiarization visit before our trip. She was outgoing, interactive and all about getting to know Vincent and Jules. We booked 2, hour long visits each day, morning and evening. Holli arrived, took care of the boys, spent time playing with them, ensuring all their needs were met and provided updates and pictures of each visit. Jules is the shyest of the two and it took a couple visits, but he was warming up to her. Thank you Holli! You are superb and we greatly appreciate your taking care of our furry family members. You are our go-to for any and all future Rover needs.”

“Barbara took exceptional care of my two small dogs. She follows instructions and is attentive to detail. My dogs had a lovely time with her and had enough activity to keep them calm and satisfied by the time we got home. She really does treat your pets as if they were her own. You can entrust her with your furry family members and know they'll get the care they deserve no matter their personality or quirks, she will take the time to let all animals warm up to her. She is a great caretaker and I would recommend her to anyone in need of pet care. My dogs had a fun time playing and they'd also give two paws up!”

“Karie is a fantastic Rover. I needed check-ins for my two month old puppy, since my puppy hasn't had her second round of parvo. She is flexible as long as you coordinate dates with her in advance.”

“Mary B. was an awesome sitter for Dodger. Dodger is typically a very shy cat and he really loved her. She even stayed a little extra when my kitty threw up on the carpet. She did an awesome job while I was out of the country and was very respectful of my home. She also sent me beautiful photos and videos of him which were wonderful to view while I was away. I would recommend Mary as a pet sitter to anyone with a cat.”

“Sara was great to work with. She was flexible about meeting times, key exchanges, and more. She spent time playing with the cats and sent pictures every day to let us know they were doing well. I'll definitely contact her first when our cats need a sitter.”

About: Do you have a reactive, lazy or even a dog that thinks it’s a goat? I did too!! I also help foster dogs in my free time. This has given me an arrange of experience from dogs and training they’ve provided! To how to calm dogs down when in a crate to keeping an eye out on anything a goat disguised as a dog might get into! My biggest achievement with dogs, is I do great with reactive dogs to the lap dogs. I’m able to meet at their level to make sure they feel comfortable and I can be aware if on walks to avoid any triggers that might bother them. Such as being aware of things on wheels, if there a man with a beard they may not like, or even loud children that might cause stress. I know all the local trails to even all the stores in town that are dog friendly. But in all honestly, I have a soft spot for those crazy high energy fur babies. The ones that after a 3 mile hike and a 5 minute nap, are back up again and need more attention/play time. Please feel free to reach out if you would like to know more about me or have any questions! I’m working part-time in between my studies! I’ve found that I have open time and would love to add a fur friend to my normal walks I take. I’ve helped foster puppies, teenage and older dogs at my home. This has given me experience with crate training and noticing how to help a dog from their body language.
