About: My family and I have fostered cats and dogs and provided hospice care for a dog with cancer (1 year) until she passed. I understand all breeds and their unique energy needs and activity levels. Medical care and aging limitations would be understood and can be tended to with your pet care needs. I work full time M, T, Th, F, Sa 8am until the deliveries are complete (can range from 2pm to 6pm). When I am not home, there are other family members present (spouse works, dad is retired). In the afternoon and evenings, my children will be attentive to any animals kept at my home. I enjoy connecting with all animals. Our weekends are more hectic with soccer season in full swing. Some weekends we may be elsewhere in Virginia with limited care depending on the weekend, April through June. We have a small fenced in yard with the ability to take your pet out for long, short, or frequent walks. My kids would provide any extra loving and attention while your pet is in my care. I kept a friend's cat for a week. When that week was up, her cat didn't want to leave. Whenever I visit them, the cat finds me to snuggle while I am around. Animals can sense the love and kindness within our family.

About: I’ve loved animals since I was a child. Had a family dog. Became a cat owner in 2021 with 1 kitten now I’m married and we have 5 cats total. Currently between work so I have plenty of flexibility to care for your pets throughout the week. Most days I’m pretty flexible except for Sundays. Extenuating circumstances left our dog with diarrhea while we were gone :( Erin not only staying in close contact with us, answering our questions about what she saw and requests for pictures to see if he had other symptoms that meant we should get him to the vet for the rest of our vacation, but she took the time to clean the accidents he did have between the 2 daily visits we booked. She went above and beyond in a really "shitty" situation, and we are SO thankful.

Selby responded to my request within minutes whichwas great because I had to leave immediately for an emergency trip and leave my fur babies behind. She took excellent care of them and even got my 4 feral cats to become friendlier and more receptive to human contact. I had to trust her with my home and my special fur babies without meeting her in person. She came to my home and did her job well and efficiently. She even brought my numerous packages in they were piling up at my door. She can be trusted in your home alone. And she left my cat area cleaner than when I left them. Good job Selby!
