“Loved having Kim watch my cats. She was prompt and professional, taking notes to be able to care for my three cats. We had a worry free vacation knowing our animals were being well taken care of with regular updates.”

About: Hi! I’m Izzy, a passionate pet-lover who can provide care for your fur-babies. I’ve been a dog mom for quite some time, 7+ years. I am experienced with caring for senior dogs, reactive dogs (any size), cats, and puppies. Whether your pet may need high-energy walks, playtime, calm walks, feeding, or simply a cozy companionship while you’re away, I’ve got you covered! I understand the importance of peace of mind when leaving your pet with another. That is why I always follow a routine, clarify directions for care for your pet, precise on feeding schedules, and ensure your pet feels safe and welcome. With my late baby, my lab/pitt mix Levi, I got to intern as a dog trainer to learn techniques to help with my dog’s reactivity, obedience training, and leash training. I am extremely patient and overall want to continue to share my love for animals through my sitting services. The services I offer are: - Dog walking: 30-60 minutes around the neighborhood tailored to your specific dogs’ needs and pace. - Drop In Visits: feeding, fresh water, litter box change, yard waste pickup, and play/cuddle indoor or outdoor time. - Overnight House-sitting: full overnight care in your home to keep your pet comfortable within their regular routine. I am extremely excited to start using Rover to expand my care and love for animals! I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to do leash walks, playtime, feeding, litter box changes, and more throught my day. I am currently available Wednesday - Sunday at any time depending on the schedule you may need. I will not be offering my home to clients but will be happy to pet-sit in yours. Safety with any animal is priority, as their safety and mine is my first step when pet-sitting. I always check home codes, fences/gates on outdoor yard playtime, and proper space between several pets in a home (if noted/required). During playtime, I am always consistent with checking toys/bones throughout to ensure there are no choking hazards. During leashed walks, I always take note of your animals temperament and comfortability with me as their walker. Looking out for warning signs with me or any other animals on our walks.

“Absolutely amazing! So happy to have found Mary, one week before my trip to FL. She gave our two dogs so much love and attention over four days. She will be the first person we reach out to whenever we are looking for someone to walk our dogs in the future. I’d highly recommend her!”

“Cory was so amazing and helped us out so much so that we could get married and not worry at all about the dogs. He was attentive and did such an awesome job. Thank you SO much again, Cory!!”

“Odalys has been amazing with our 2 pups! She has been very dependable and has great communication. She left detailed summaries and pictures with each visit. We had her come 3x a day for a week and I’m so grateful for all of her help. I highly recommend her services for pet care! 😊”

“THE BEST CAT SITTER!! Clio loves her so much and she always spends quality time with Clio when she visits. She also sends great pics that make my heart happy🥰. Always quick to respond. Highly recommend!!”

About: I've had dogs my whole life until recently moving away from my childhood home and adopting 2 pigeons. Apart from caring for my own dogs, I've dogsat first neighbors and friends for over a decade. My experience ranges from tiny puppies to dogs the size of a small pony. I've even cared for seniors with incontinence issues, special diets and food-prep needs, and medications. Currently, I get my dog fix by walking dogs for the FXBG SPCA! I work a full-time 9-5 as a hybrid employee and care for my 2 pet pigeons. I'm a runner and love hiking, so I can handle high-energy pets. Most importantly, I just miss hanging out with my family's dogs back in Northern VA, so I'd love to hang out with yours! Because of my pet pigeons, I don't offer services at my own home. For drop in visits and walks with dogs, I always keep them leashed when on public property. I grew up with a fenced backyard wherein my dogs would run free, but I never took them out of the house without a leash.

“Thank you Collette for notifying me that one of my dogs was not feeling well. Sure enough, when I took her to the vet, she was sick and is now on antiobiotics. Because of your keen eye, I was able to get her in before her condition worsened. Thank you for looking out for my babies!”

“Jungeui is so sweet, caring, responsible and dependable. My chihuahua needs medication and she has been able to give it to him no problem. My 11yo chihuahua recommends her! :)”

“Exceptional Pet Sitter! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amanda was absolutely wonderful! From the very beginning, she was incredibly sweet, helpful, and highly responsive. Her communication was perfect throughout the entire stay—she kept me constantly updated, asked great questions to ensure Winnie had everything she needed, and went above and beyond by asking if there was anything else she could help with around the house. The photos she sent on a regular basis brought so much peace of mind. It’s clear she truly cares about the animals she watches. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and I will absolutely be booking with her again. Thank you, Amanda! Highly recommended!”

“Julia was such a wonderful help with our two cats!! When I am away from them I want to make sure they are fully taken care of and she went above and beyond. Her communication was impeccable and her attention to detail was stellar! I hope to continue using her services when we are away as I had minimal anxiety about being away from my babies, I highly recommend booking with Julia for all your pet needs!”

“Cheyenne was wonderful with our three senior cats! Cheyenne was attentive, thorough, and clearly took excellent care of them while we were away. We felt at ease knowing our cats were in such good hands, and we’ll definitely be reaching out to Cheyenne for future trips. Highly recommend!”

Erin is so great. I had to arrange for drop in visits for my cat last minute. Erin is reliable. She played with my cat, sent me tons of pics, and of course, made sure she had food/water. It provides such peace of mind to have Erin looking after your pet. I highly recommend her.

Raine was honestly the best cat sitter I’ve had on this app! I’ve had a few great cat sitters over the years (about 5-6 different sitters total), but she truly went above and beyond anything I’ve experienced. I lucked out that she was available on short notice for a holiday weekend. Over the four days I was traveling, she visited twice daily and sent me detailed and well organized updates about how my two kitties were doing and what she did each visit. She sent photos for each visit and even asked if she could bring some of her own kitty’s favorite lollipops to share as a treat. When one of my cats wouldn’t take his meds, she followed up about how to handle and she also located a few items I had forgot to set out for her. I was able to thoroughly enjoy my trip without worrying about my kitties being lonely because I knew they were in great hands, especially because they’d been fighting lately and she accommodated my unique setup to keep them separated. I highly recommend her caring for your fur babies and look forward to booking her again!

Maria did an excellent job caring for our two dogs while we were away. She was punctual, arriving and leaving exactly as scheduled, and followed all of our instructions perfectly. She also kept us updated with detailed reports, which gave us great peace of mind. It’s clear she is responsible, dependable, and genuinely cares about the pets she watches. We would absolutely recommend Maria to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter!

We have been with Kathryn for almost a year! She is the absolute best sitter you could want. She communicates quickly and gives the most thorough updates on my dog. She provided enrichment and love to my dog Fern. We are so sad to be moving this month and leaving Kathryn, we can only hope to find as good of a sitter the next place we live.

I am so grateful tonight. I was in a car accident on the way home. I asked Collette if she could do a second visit as I knew I would be late getting home after the accident. Without hesitation, she shifted her schedule around and helped me out. Collette, thank you so much!

Amber is amazing- I can’t say enough great things about how she treats our beagles Honey- She goes above and beyond- ensuring the dogs are happy, healthy and safe. Amber is always on time and always reliable- she responds immediately- we woulld Highly recommend Amber ❤️😄😄

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
