About: i have a large history of taking care of dogs and have watched many different breeds and age ranges (from puppy's to senior dogs). On weekends i volunteer at a local shelter to help walk dogs that have yet to find there forever home. I am currently a college student with a small part time job at my school but i can easily fit in dog walking between classes and work. While watching dogs in the clients home i want to make sure they are kept in a fenced off area or always on a leash to ensure safety

Rachel is an ideal cat sitter. I used her services for 10 days and she was committed, communicative, thorough, and great with my cats. This was my first experience with Rover, and Rachel stood out as a provider immediately because of her significant experience and her high customer approval ratings. She responded promptly to all of my messages, showing a willingness to work with my schedule. During my vacation, Rachel met every commitment. She came to my house twice each day to look after and feed my cats, and she sent me notes and photos explaining what they were up to. She helped my nervous cat acclimate and ensured enough time for her to eat, overcoming my biggest concern about this experience. Through all of her communications, Rachel was helpful and professional. She made it clear that she was interested in the welfare of my cats. Rachel is a very good cat sitter. It can be difficult to trust a new person to come into your home and care for your beloved animals, but Rachel did both and earned my trust and appreciation. I highly recommend her for catsitting services and will definitely seek her availability the next time I travel without my cats.
Extenuating circumstances left our dog with diarrhea while we were gone :( Erin not only staying in close contact with us, answering our questions about what she saw and requests for pictures to see if he had other symptoms that meant we should get him to the vet for the rest of our vacation, but she took the time to clean the accidents he did have between the 2 daily visits we booked. She went above and beyond in a really "shitty" situation, and we are SO thankful.
We had a fantastic first experience using Rover thanks to Lucy! As first-time users, we were a little nervous about having someone come into our home while we were out of town, but Lucy made the entire process feel easy and reassuring from the start. She responded to our request almost immediately and scheduled a meet & greet within just a few days, which really helped put us at ease. While we were away, Lucy came by daily to take care of our cat, and she did an excellent job. It was clear our cat was well cared for, and we really appreciated the updates and attention she gave. Knowing that Lucy has cats of her own and also works at an animal hospital gave us an extra level of confidence that our pet was in great hands.
