About: Hi! I’ve been a pet owner my entire life and caring for animals is truly second nature to me. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages, personalities, and energy levels. I also have medical care experience, so I’m comfortable administering medications, monitoring pets closely, and giving extra attention to senior pets or those with special needs. I make it a priority to maintain each pet’s normal routine, whether that means scheduled walks, medication times, or quiet cuddle time. Because I have experience with foster and rescue animals, I’m also used to adjusting my schedule to meet different needs, from energetic pets who love activity to shy pets who need a calmer approach. I have a larger, fenced yard for playtime a friendly pup who is always looking for a playmate as well as an old lady who loves nap buddies. About: I’m an experienced, animal-loving pet caregiver with nearly a decade of professional experience and a lifetime spent around dogs and cats. Since 2017, I’ve provided professional boarding, dog walking, basic grooming, and daily pet care for animals with a wide range of ages, personalities, and energy levels. I have two working-breed dogs of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for high-energy pups who need plenty of exercise, structure, playtime, and attention. I also have a mini poodle, so I understand that every dog has a different pace and personality—from active, adventure-loving dogs to smaller or more relaxed companions. Because I work from home, your pet will have lots of supervision and companionship throughout the day and will not be left alone for more than about an hour at a time. About: I’ve taken care of two dogs for ten+ years! I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my whole life, especially senior dogs. I’m good at walking and caring for animals in their homes. I work as a substitute teacher and can make my own schedule, so I will have plenty of time to hang with your animals! I am flexible with my schedule and can make last minute drop-ins if needed. About: I've had dogs my whole life until recently moving away from my childhood home and adopting 2 pigeons. Apart from caring for my own dogs, I've dogsat first neighbors and friends for over a decade. My experience ranges from tiny puppies to dogs the size of a small pony. I've even cared for seniors with incontinence issues, special diets and food-prep needs, and medications. Currently, I get my dog fix by walking dogs for the FXBG SPCA! I work a full-time 9-5 as a hybrid employee and care for my 2 pet pigeons. I'm a runner and love hiking, so I can handle high-energy pets. Most importantly, I just miss hanging out with my family's dogs back in Northern VA, so I'd love to hang out with yours! Because of my pet pigeons, I don't offer services at my own home. For drop in visits and walks with dogs, I always keep them leashed when on public property. I grew up with a fenced backyard wherein my dogs would run free, but I never took them out of the house without a leash.
About: I have been taking care of the animals of close friends and family since I was 19 years old. In addition to taking care of cats and dogs, I am also an experienced farm hand. I have taken care of horses, chickens, donkeys, and Alpacas. Whatever your pet needs are, I can do it. I am currently doing volunteer work on Tuesdays, but am available every other day of the week. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
