About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have about 5 years of experience caring for pets. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playing, giving pets attention, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m responsible, patient, and dependable, and I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of love, attention, exercise, and care while they’re in my hands. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I have school Mondays and Wednesdays from 9–4, but I’m available after school on those days. Outside of school, I’m very flexible and open with my schedule, so I can work with your pet’s needs and routine. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I have a 7-year-old Springer Spaniel of my own, and I try to walk her every day, so I’m very comfortable with daily walks and keeping a consistent routine. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs and personality, and I’m happy to follow their normal feeding, walking, playtime, and care routines. I’ll treat every pet as if they were my own and keep their home clean and respectful while I’m there.

About: I’ve taken care of two dogs for ten+ years! I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my whole life, especially senior dogs. I’m good at walking and caring for animals in their homes. From cuddly Pyrenees, and scary-smart German pinschers, to spunky chinchillas, their best cat friends, and curious pythons. I have been through partial behavioral training for dogs (and their humans), and have experience with animal hospice situations, as well as behaviorally aggressive dogs. I prefer to keep the animal's care as consistent as possible. The more details you have of your preferred method of walking, reward, or preparation habits, the better. I also volunteer at the Old Dominion Humaine Society and occasionally foster for them at my house. I have one <1 year old puppy, and I have a home with a large yard but no fence. That means all foster dogs get leash walked always and there are many mind teaser toys for rainy days. I feed in crates and make it a safe space for them to decompress.

This person is a straight up warrior. She fought off mosquitoes. And rabid raccoons with no fear. She ran towards the danger while her charges (dogs) ran for the safety of the house. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
