About: I've had taken care of animals for over 20 plus years. Im also a certified vet assistant as well. Love all animals and would love to meet yours! Im currently unemployed so I would be able to do anytime of the day. I do have 2 chihuahuas of my own as well that I absolutely adore. I unfortunately do not have a fenced in yard at my home but I do take my dogs out regularly on leash. But they also have free roam of the entire house.

This was our first time using Connie. Drop off and pick up were seamless. Up shameless how long were you there Harry I’d have to go. We boarded h him for 21 days. We received pictures of Harry twice a day which showed us he was having fun and was well taken care of. He looked great!

She was amazing watching Chloe and Willie. Since Chloe on heart medicine she did a great job giving her medicine when she was suppose to.have. Both pups really enjoyed staying with her and enjoyed all the attention. She did so good with the pups. Will be bringing them back to her.

Royal Farms Ranch is the most wonderful sitter I have ever had. The layout is an absolute pup haven. I can tell my guy is so happy being there, and they have given me an overwhelming sense of confidence in that. I had a moment of panic that my dog was having problems and they went above and beyond in ensuring me he was 100% okay and living his best life. It is such a relief to know my fur-ever friend is safe and given so much love while I’m away. 10/10 would recommend!

Kristina was absolutely wonderful with Callie and Sylvie! We needed care pretty last minute due to having to travel out of state for a funeral, and she was incredibly accommodating, flexible, and friendly from the start. She went above and beyond to make sure our girls were comfortable, loved, and well taken care of. I was initially a little hesitant about how they would do in a home with multiple kids since they aren’t around smallerchildren very often, but they had no issues whatsoever! They loved all the extra attention from Kristina’s boys and also enjoyed spending time with their dog, Teddy, and even their cat. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Callie and Sylvie were being cared for and treated like part of the family, especially during such a difficult and unexpected trip. We’re very grateful to Kristina and her family for taking such great care of our girls and would absolutely book with her again! 🐾❤️

Mary and her family were great. I could tell that Winston loved being with them. From the time he entered the house until I picked him up they were wonderful with him. Mary sent plenty of pictures and daily updates on their activities. I would not hesitate using Mary to care for Winston in the future.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in VA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
