I have a flexible daytime schedule and am available for cat drop-in visits throughout the day, including midday and afternoon visits. Please check my calendar for my current availability, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your cat’s usual routine. I’m happy to work with you to make sure your kitty gets the care and attention they need while you’re away!

I provide loving, reliable care in your cat’s own home, where they can stay comfortable and stick to their normal routine. During each visit, I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and plenty of attention and enrichment. I’ll also follow your instructions carefully and make sure your home is secure before I leave. My goal is for both you and your cat to feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away.

Before my first visit, I’d like to know your cat’s normal routine, feeding instructions, health information, medications or special-care needs, personality and behavioral traits, favorite activities or toys, litter box routine, and any household rules I should follow. I’ll also need clear instructions for accessing your home, where supplies are located, your preferred emergency contact and veterinarian information, and what to do if something unexpected happens. The more I know about your cat ahead of time, the better I can make their visits feel comfortable, familiar, and stress-free.
A typical day
Every cat is different, so I like to follow their normal routine and let them set the pace. Depending on your cat’s personality, a visit might include feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime with their favorite toys, enrichment, and plenty of pets and attention. I’ll also spend time simply keeping them company—even if that means sitting nearby while they do their favorite thing: nothing. 😂 I’ll send you photos and an update after each visit so you can see how your fur baby is doing while you’re away!

I’m Raine, a proud cat mama to Kevin, my adventurous 4-year-old kitty! My experience with cats goes far beyond simply feeding them—I love getting to know their personalities, routines, and individual needs. From harness and leash training Kevin as a kitten to taking him along on our daily adventures, I’ve learned how important patience, consistency, and paying attention to a cat’s cues really are. I’ve also cared for cats for friends and previously completed drop-in visits through Rover. I’m comfortable with the everyday things that keep cats happy and comfortable, including feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of attention when they want it. Lorraine was able to come watch my babies last minute and did an amazing job. She was friendly and keep me updated on how my babies wore doing and send pics. Because of her I was able to have a worry free vacation. Will hire her again in the future.
I’ve never written a review here before, but our experience with Larraine has been sooo wonderful. She takes care of our 3 dogs regularly. They all have very different temperaments and energy levels and she interacts with each of them in their own way. They can also be a tough crowd to please, but they get SO excited to see her and it makes us feel so comfortable when we have to be away from our fur children. Larraine is kind, compassionate, and exceedingly responsive and responsible. Cannot recommend enough.
