Before sitting, I always like to know: • Your pet’s routine (mealtimes, litter box habits, walk schedule, etc.) • Any medical needs or medications • Behavior quirks (Are they shy? Do they hide? Are there things that trigger anxiety or aggression?) • How they feel about strangers, other pets, loud noises, etc. • What kind of affection or play they enjoy—or don’t • Any house rules you’d like me to follow (no pets on furniture, doors to keep closed, etc.) The more I know up front, the better I can tailor my care to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away!

Every pet is different, so I try to match their energy and interests. I will explore playful cats’ toy collections with them. If a cat is a cuddle bug, I’m happy to sit quietly nearby and keep them company while they nap or receive gentle pets (with their permission, of course). I love going for walks with dogs, playing fetch, or just enjoying some outside time in the yard. I try to make each visit engaging and comforting—whatever makes your pet feel happiest and most at home.

I’ve looked after dogs and cats of all ages and personalities, and I truly love spending time with animals. I have three cats of my own and have experience administering various types of medication, including oral meds and topical treatments. I also regularly care for several community cats, so I’m comfortable working with shy, independent, and less social animals. Whether your pet is playful, anxious, energetic, or aloof, I’ll provide thoughtful, loving care that meets their unique needs.
