⭐I am the owner of Sunny River Pet Services where we prioritize safety, comfort, and communication above all else!⭐ We are bonded and insured, CPR/first aid certified, and team-backed- meaning you will always have coverage. We can provide proof of any of these on request. 🤗 I've taken care of animals ever since I was 10 and am an avid animal lover. I have had cats, dogs, a horse, and rats and each has taken a piece of my heart. I have walked and played with shelter dogs, taken care of other people's pets not limited to cats and dogs, and made several food/toy/utility donations to the shelter. We work together with Tales and Tails to support our local Old Dominion Humane Society and our mission is to create a more sustainable society through conscientious pet care. We only hire and train those who share our values. We are familiar with using oral and topical medications for pets, so they never have to miss a dose. I personally cared for my dog throughout chemotherapy, my rat Beku with cancer, and my cat Cheeto during renal failure, so I am familiar with some end of life care. Caring for animals gives us great purpose. We want to ensure that all animals are safe and happy! And owners should never have to miss a moment- that's why we specialize in providing overly detailed reports with quality photos.

We'll give your pets play, snack, cuddles, or whatever else they or you want! We prioritize making animals comfortable in whatever way that is. Does your pup love attention? We'll drop everything the second he asks for it! We always greet animals warmly and prioritize their safety. We ensure they get the socialization and care they need. We always follow pet parents' rules and reach out with questions if necessary. Our responsibility is to make sure they are safe and cared for, and that you are happy and informed.

Schedule
I currently work part time as a Sound Board Operator for a local theatre. Recently, I started my own pet care business as animals have become my true passion. I run a small business with my co-CEO and 2-3 other employees. I personally train our employees alongside my co-CEO. I am looking to move fully into pet care by 2027.
