“Thank you to Kelsie and Grant for taking such good care of our Conway. (5yr old GSD). This was his first time away from us without our other dog who passed so I was a little nervous. The previous glowing reviews helped me make my choice. We got photos of Conway during his stay enjoying the big yard, playing & the communication was easy. Thank you again.”

About: I’m a professional pet groomer with over 10 years of experience caring for dogs. Working with pets every day has given me experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs and pets who may need a little extra patience and attention. I understand dog behavior, proper handling, feeding routines, basic grooming needs, and how to help pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether I’m walking, feeding, playing with, or simply keeping your pup company, I’ll treat them with the same love and care I give my own. Your pet’s safety and happiness will always be my priority, and I’ll keep you updated while they’re in my care. 🐶❤️ I currently work from home where I am able to take care of your babies I groom dogs from home so I’m also able to provide a cleaning at the end of your pets care. “Maria was great, and very attentive to my lab Buoy. she watched him for 5 days. She sent me updates frequently with pictures/videos and even let him play in her pool. He had a blast! We will definitely be using her in the future”

About: As an animal lover since childhood, I’ve had the joy of caring for both dogs and cats throughout my life, including my own two cats and a dog. My pet care experience includes feeding, walking, grooming, and basic training. I’m a patient and active caregiver who believes that every animal deserves love, kindness, and quality care. My passion for animals ensures that I'll provide the best possible care for your pets while you're away.//Si puedo hablar español! In addition to my full-time job from 9AM-5:30PM, I make sure to spend quality time with my own pets every day. For pet care services, I’m available on weekdays from 6AM-9PM, as well as all day on Saturdays and Sundays. This allows me to provide dedicated care to your furry companions, while still ensuring that my own pets are well taken care of. Just send me a message and I can let you know! When caring for pets in the client’s home, I make sure to follow their pet’s regular routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walking, and grooming schedules. I always treat the home with respect and keep it tidy and secure as I do for my own. I believe that communication is key, so I provide the owners with regular updates and photos of their beloved pets while they’re away. This gives them peace of mind and reassurance that their pets are in good hands.
“We had a wonderful experience with Cesar. He took great care of our dog, and we can tell our dog was happy and comfortable throughout the stay. We really appreciate the regular updates and pictures- it gave us peace of mind while we were away. Our dog had a wonderful time, and we will definitely use him again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Jerald and his wife Sharon took excellent care of my little Schnoodle, June. I could immediately tell they loved dogs when June snuggled up to them during our meet and greet. Jerald also provided me with updates and photos. 100 percent recommended!”

“Ashely is very professional and seems to have a well run operation. Communication was always quick and responsive. She allowed us to do a meet-and-greet beforehand, to make sure the environment would fit my dog. I have always been apprehensive about keeping my dog in a place with multiple dogs, but I felt at ease after meeting with Ashley and seeing how she runs things. She clearly cares for the animals and has a good understanding of how to group them together to ensure they are all safe. After I left my dog, Ashley continued to respond to questions quickly and she was flexible with pick up time. Overall good service and a well run business with a heart.”

“Erika was phenomenal and is definitely a dog lover - not just a dog sitter!! She kept me updated on Bella’s stay which was lengthy, sent pictures and I trust her totally! I will call Erika going forward for all our travel and am sure Bella loves her new home away from home!”

“She did very good with our pitbull mix. He can be fearful and is anxious when he’s not with his people and it was great to get photo updates of him during his stay. Also flexible on return time when our event we had to travel for was running late.”

“Sandra was great! When I picked up Runner he was absolutely exhausted from playing with Sandra's dogs. Sandra was also very quick to respond to my messages. Overall, I would recommend!”

“This was my first experience with Rover and I couldn’t be more pleased. Tracy was great and my dog Guinness had a great time. Very attentive to his needs. Highly recommended.”

“I highly recommend Claudia. She watched my 10 month old high energy lab for 4 days. Constantly sent me pictures and updates. I felt so at ease with him in her care.”
About: I have been caring for pets of family and friends since childhood, and over time it naturally became a passion. I have experience with cats, large and small dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, and currently I have a rabbit of my own. I am also an exotic pet lover. I have always researched and studied a lot about animal care and health, I like to go beyond the basics to make sure I can provide the best care for my pets. One of my biggest challenges (and achievements) was training my rabbit at home <3 I have always been very attentive with my pets’ health, I even had a personal veterinarian for all of them, including routine check-ups for my hamster haha. For me it is really easy to have a connection with animals and quickly build trust with them, which helps me understand their needs and behaviors. I truly hope to become a veterinarian in the future and continue dedicating my life to animal care. I believe that any living being that is dependent and innocent deserves the highest level of care, love, and protection possible. I currently work part-time, but due to the low season I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. I’m able to adapt easily to each pet’s needs and provide consistent, loving care throughout the day. I live in a gated community, in a apartment with a lot of space. The condominium offers a dedicated dog park with a fenced area where dogs can safely run and play, as well as walking trails for daily exercise. If needed, I can also share photos of the environment so you can feel fully confident and comfortable about where your pet will be staying <3
“Our experience with Olga and her family watching our fur baby was exceptional! From the first meeting, it was clear they genuinely cared for our pup. Their communication was excellent, providing regular updates and photos. They followed Pilot's routines perfectly and ensured his safety at all times. Pilot returned home happy and healthy, and we're incredibly grateful for the peace of mind they provided. Highly recommend and we will definitely be using her excellent dog sitting service again!”

“Marta was awesome! She kept me updated with text and photos of my dog brandy. This was Brandy's first time away from home so it was probably a bit more than what Marta and I expected being that Brandy is a puppy. Nevertheless, Quinn's Marta's dog seem to enjoy Brandy and help communicate effectively with her. So happy that Marta was able to watch her while I was out of town.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and current pet parent to a 9-year-old black Labrador retriever and a 2-year-old cat, both incredibly friendly and well-socialized with other animals. Since I work remotely and am home most of the day, your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches — they’ll get consistent attention, company, and care throughout the day, not just quick check-ins. Having a senior dog myself means I understand the extra care, patience, and routine that older pets often need, while my cat keeps me well-practiced with feline personalities too. Your pet will have their own private room in my townhouse, so they’ll have a comfortable, quiet space to settle into if they need a break from the action. Because I’m home so much, I’m able to offer multiple walks throughout the day, so active dogs will get plenty of exercise and bathroom breaks on a consistent schedule. I’m attentive to feeding routines, medication needs, and any specific quirks your pet has — just let me know what works best for them. I work from home full-time, so pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I’m available every single day, including weekdays and weekends, for both walks and boarding. Since I’m home consistently, your pet will get regular attention, playtime, and walks throughout the day rather than being left alone for long stretches. I have a spacious two-story townhouse with plenty of room for pets to roam and stay active indoors. Your pet will have their own private room for a quiet, comfortable retreat. I’m close to two dog parks for extra exercise and socialization, and I’m happy to walk dogs every 3 hours if needed to keep them comfortable and on schedule.

A++++. Fabiana is a wonderful, trustworthy, compassionate, communicative and super friendly person. She sent us pictures of our pup throughout the entire stay with her; something that we loved receiving. We spoke a couple of times throughout our week away just to touch base. Fabiana is a gem.
Jagger was great! Bear & Moose had a wonderful time, and I felt completely at ease leaving them in his care. He kept me updated with pictures every day, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear they were well cared for, happy, and getting plenty of attention. I would absolutely book with Jagger again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!

We had a great experience with her! She was very attentive, responsive, and took wonderful care of my dog. She made sure he was fed, took him to the park, and kept me updated with photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. The only small issue was that my dog was a little overfed, but that was completely my fault. I forgot to mention that, because he’s an older dog, he needs to eat a specific amount. I also forgot to tell her that he should be supervised during mealtime around other dogs because he’s a little mischievous—he finishes his own food and then tries to eat everyone else’s too! So I don’t blame her at all for that. Overall, I was very happy with the care she provided, and I would absolutely book her again in the future. Thank you for taking such good care of my boy!

Organ was great with communication! Every time I messaged him he messaged back with in minutes. He took great care of my dog for the weekend. He updated me with photos and was gentle with my dog. He even took her out to walk around the neighborhood as soon as she got there so she can get familiar with it. Will definitely be booking again!

Marty was so good with our little guy! I would highly recommend her to others looking for a sitter. My 13-year old dog had never stayed overnight with anyone but family before and he is usually skittish in new places, so I was nervous to leave him. I’m so glad we found Marty for our weekend away. She calmed my nerves immediately during our visit with her knowledge and care for older pets. She made sure Tobey felt right at home and sent us pictures so we’d know he was happy and snuggled up on the couch. I would definitely board Tobey with Marty again.

Julianna and Matt were amazing dog sitters! We left our pup with them for the weekend and had an outstanding experience. She was very attentive and constantly sent picture/video updates throughout the weekend. Her dog Koda is the sweetest and was a great playmate for our pup. I’d recommend Julianna to anyone looking for a reliable, trusting dog sitter!

She and her family took wonderful care of my small dog for three days. Their home was a great environment for small/medium size dog/cat (but not ideal for large dog) and I could tell my dog was genuinely loved and well cared for. The sitter was very responsive, answered questions quickly, and sent photos and updates throughout the stay. I really appreciated the genuine care, kindness, and communication. I would definitely recommend her.

Kendall was very responsive and sent lots of pictures and videos. My 2 fur babies came back home to us happy and probably a little worn out from the extra exercise she gave them chasing the ball in her complex's dog park. She's a wonderful dog sitter and a wonderful person. You'll not go wrong trusting her with your fur babies.

Genevieve was extremely friendly and responsive anytime we were in communication. Throughout the stay she provided me updates on my sweet pup and even asked clarifying questions. Additionally, she was accommodating to allow me to extent my booking by a day. You can tell she cares a lot about animals!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
