“It was apparent the first time we met Linda that she had a true love of animals. She is kind, has a gentle approach, and our toy Australian Shepherd quickly warmed up to Linda. She is exactly what our dog needed. Highly recommend.”

“Charles is amazing! My dog was having trouble adjusting to a new routine but quickly adapted to Charles and loves his walks and fetch time with him. He takes such good care of my dog when I’m not home and treats each pet like his own. He always updates me on how my dog is doing throughout the day. 10/10 recommend Charles for any and all pet needs!”

“Ross was awesome with our three dogs! We received daily updates and pictures. Everything was in order when we got home and he even got our dogs toys and treats. We definitely recommend Ross and we will use him again. It’s evident that he loves animals.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. Mostly I’ve taken care of labs but with my sister being a veterinarian I’ve had experience with all different walks of dog life! Soon I will be working part time but it won’t be a problem at all having plenty of time for pet care and attention. Overnight stays are welcome if need be! I have a fenced in back yard and a community friendly dog park available. It is not a problem for the pets to rest on the couch slash bed unless it is not the owners preference to allow that.
About: I've taken care of dogs since i was really young. I've had dogs in my family forever. I've also grown up with cats as well, and love them just as much. I started college not too long ago, so I will update that for January time. But my classes will be mon, Wednesday 830-330pm, and Tuesday I think like 4pm till 8. I wont be having animals in my house, but I can take your dogs on runs, tire them out so they are calm and tired when you get home. I can do pretty much anything you need me to
“Gilchin is the best! My boys love her so much. She’s the sweetest and took such great care of my kitties! You can tell she genuinely loves animals and I always felt comfortable knowing they were with her. Definitely recommend everytime!”

About: I grew up taking care of animals since i was 6 years old. I had a Chihuahua for the duration of my childhood, then i adopted a kitten. Over the years i have also fostered numerous kittens including ones that had to be bottle fed. I am currently a full time student and have a pretty consistent schedule. I am mostly available weekends and morning and evening on the weekdays. I always approach them gently and calmly, allowing them to become familiar with me and comfortable. I look out for cues when pet is uncomfortable and needs space.
About: I’ve been pet sitting for 6 years now and enjoy every second of it! I offer in home stays as well as quick visits! Friends and family have entrusted me to care for their fur babies while they’re away! I will always send picture and text updates to my clients to ensure that your fur babies are happy, healthy, and safe within my care! I’m a student attending college so I have classes Mondays-Thursdays from 5-7:30. I’m free in the mornings, early afternoons and evenings after my classes for overnights and drop-in visits! Fridays-Sundays I’m free all day for over nights and drop-in visits! Shoot me a message and we can work something out! **This is my schedule for Spring schooling and as of June, I will no longer be in Savannah! Sorry for the inconvenience!** I always follow the instructions that are laid out by the clients. I will make sure that your pets stick to their usual routine to prevent any form of stress!
About: Hi. My name is Shaniel and I’m a stay-at-home wife and mom who attends college part-time. I promise if you choose me to take care of your pet, your baby will not be caged. They’ll have an unlimited amount of space in my home. I’m home pretty much all day because I take my classes at home, so your pet will have multiple walks throughout the day. Plus, if allowed, I can take your baby to the dog park nearby. I also don’t mind doing drop-ins. I usually do three drop-ins throughout the day. I can let your pet out to potty or take them for 30-minute walks, and I don’t mind cleaning up food or accidents. If you choose me to take care of your pet, I will follow your pets' feeding and walking schedule. I also currently have a 4 year old male Rottweiler. Very friendly and sweet. Thank you! I am at home all day, except to take and pick up my children from school. My schedule is open all day to take care of your pet. I live in a townhouse, but my house has plenty of space where your pet can run around and play. Plus, there’s even more space behind my house for extra playtime. If you prefer your pet to only stay downstairs, I can put up a gate for my stairs.
“Monique was incredibly helpful. She allowed me to switch from drop-in visits to boarding last minute. And she even kept my dog for an extra day because my flight was delayed. Very responsive and will definitely be booking again.”

About: I have dogs since I was a child. Make them feel loved and cared is the most important aspect. A happy dog makes you feel happiest Walking dogs make me feel happy, and fit. Helps both to enjoy the environment (the dog and me) 😄, and being relaxed at the end. I always going to be very careful with the dogs. I’ll walk them in safety places, with the appropriate manner, and thinking about their healthy.
“We were in a bind. Ran off to vacation and forgot to feed our poor boy Armin. I reached out and Isabella responded quickly. She couldn’t get there when we requested but we worked it out. She arrived earlier than expected and did everything quickly and professionally. She communicated and made sure to send pics. She’s very nice and I definitely will use her again.”

About: I bring hands-on rescue experience into every pet I care for. As a cat rescue director, I’ve worked with everything from fragile bottle babies to shy, under-socialized cats and seniors with medical needs. I’m comfortable administering medications, monitoring for subtle health changes, and creating a calm, safe environment for pets who need extra patience. What really sets me apart is my ability to read animal behavior and adapt quickly—whether that means giving a nervous pet space, engaging a high-energy puppy, or providing gentle, consistent care for seniors. I don’t just “watch” pets—I build trust with them. I also treat every home and pet like my own, keeping routines consistent, communication clear, and sending regular updates so you always feel connected and confident while you’re away. Pet care is a consistent part of my daily routine, not something I squeeze in. I structure my schedule around the pets I’m caring for to make sure they get reliable, attentive visits and plenty of time for feeding, play, and companionship. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening visits, which allows me to keep your pet’s routine as close to normal as possible. Because of my background in rescue work, I’m used to planning my days around animal care needs—whether that’s quick drop-ins, extended stays, or extra time for pets who need a little more attention. My schedule is flexible, and I’m happy to accommodate special requests, medications, or unique routines to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Safety and trust are at the core of how I care for every pet. Whether I’m in your home or hosting in mine, I focus on creating a calm, secure, and predictable environment. In a client’s home, I respect your space and follow your pet’s routine closely—feeding schedules, litter box or potty habits, medications, and favorite activities. I keep doors secured, double-check entry points, and make sure your pet is always accounted for. I also provide regular updates with photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. If caring for pets in my home, I maintain a clean, quiet, and low-stress environment with safe, pet-friendly spaces. Pets are supervised, never overcrowded, and introduced carefully (if applicable). I separate animals when needed to ensure everyone stays comfortable and safe. With my rescue background, I’m experienced in handling shy, anxious, or special-needs pets. I pay close attention to behavior and health, and I’m prepared to respond quickly if anything seems off. My goal is always to make your pet feel secure, loved, and as close to their normal routine as possible.
“Both of our babies LOVED Mary Ann and we do too!! She kept us up to date on what they were all doing while we were away and sent the cutest pics - which helped us miss them just a little less and we could tell when we saw them that they were very happy and well cared for - we will definitely be calling Mary Ann again for our next trip!! <3”

About: I prioritize communication and trust. You’ll always get photo updates, quick replies, and the peace of mind that your pet is in caring, capable hands. I currently work another job with a flexible schedule where I will be able to make time for your pets, I am open to arrangements. I care for pets like they’re part of my own family! I stick to their routines, give them plenty of love, playtime, and attention, and create a stress-free environment—whether it’s in my home or yours. I always keep you in the loop with pictures and updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and safe.
Fort Myers dog parents share their Rover experiences
Marisa did amazing with my 10 week old puppy! She came with prior experience and was very knowledgeable about working with high energy puppies. She practiced training commands with him and went above and beyond just playing and letting him out. She was patient and caring. She sent updates while she was there along with pictures and videos to show me how it was going (which I loved because I was nervous as I'm a first time dog owner). I'm so happy I booked with her. I definitely recommend.

Melissa is an Absolute Gem! Communicated on each visit with photos and kept us up to date on their playtime activities and even followed their feeding schedule perfectly. We will absolutely be recommending and having Melissa take care of our dogs again in the future.

Gaby was wonderful! She is so kind and amazing with dogs. This was my first time using Rover or any pet sitting services for my 4 month puppy and she did so great, my puppy loves her. She saved me when I didn’t have any support at the time. I made a mistake with scheduling and she was also very understanding! 10/10 will continue to book her in the future :)

Destony, did an excellent job spending time with the dog, walking and feeding along with communicating. The dog was staying at an assisted living facility, while the owner was away. She kept me informed of other people taking care of the dog. Very helpful to know the dog was so loved.

Brittany is SUPERB! I am extremely protective of who I leave my dog with because I know she can be a handful at times, but I completely trust Brittany with my dog. She is attentive, communicative, and truly cares for our dog as if she were her own dog. She is also a vet tech which has come in handy while our dog is going through some undiagnosed issues. I highly recommend hiring Brittany for any of your pet sitting needs!!!
