“Christelle was great!! We needed a pet sitter on short notice and she was able to fit in our meet and greet before we left. Our cat loved her! 10/10 and we will definitely be using her services again!”

“I am so glad that I found Victoria to take care of my fur baby while I’m away on a work trip. She has been wonderful! Victoria is very responsive to messages, and has updated me on the visits in great detail with lots of photos included :) My cat can be very selective on who she chooses to enter her circle, but she took to Victoria very well with her great energy ! 10/10 recommend.”

“Emily is WONDERFUL! She took excellent care of my 2 cats. Checking self feeder, handing out treats, refilling water fountain and keeping litter boxes clean. Emily took time each visit to play and provide loving attention. She even made friends quickly with my timid cat. Pictures were sent to me every day. My flights were delayed and Emily offered to extend her care without my asking. I highly recommend her and have already scheduled another booking with her.”

“Timothy is the best! He communicated well, sent plenty of pictures and updates, and took excellent care of my dog. My dog is slow to warm up to new people, but Timothy was patient and they were fast friends. He followed all instructions and respected my home. Highly recommend!”

“Alexis is truly amazing! My husband and I feel so blessed to have found her! Our Rigby loves her dearly and we both have peace of mind he is in good hands while we are at work! We appreciate Alexis very much❤️”

About: Hi! My name is Eliana. I’m 19 years old and I love dogs!! I’ve had my chihuahua, Taki, for nearly 7 years now. When I was living with my mom, I took care of her dogs too, a pitbull and a mastiff, so I’m experienced with both big and little dogs. I’m available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays all day for the entire day so I will be able to see your pup whenever is needed :) Dogs have always naturally loved me. Since I’ve been around dogs for my whole life, I’m good at reading their body language as well. I’m young and enjoy a good walk/jog, so I’ll be able to get both my cardio and your dogs cardio in during walks! :)
“Heather is an OUTSTANDING dog caregiver. She took impeccable care of Sophie. She showed up on time, took her on nice long walks and played with my sweet girl. I never worry when Heather is taking care of Sophie. She is always my go to caregiver when I travel.”

“I can’t rave about Kassie enough! As someone who hasn’t taken a vacation in years because I just couldn’t leave my babies behind, she treated them like her own 🥹 She is the true cat whisperer as my cats who don’t like anyone including family, warmed right up to her. Received many videos of them happy, fed, and loved ❤️Great communication, thorough care, and truly a kind spirit! Book Kassie!!”

“Monique was incredibly helpful. She allowed me to switch from drop-in visits to boarding last minute. And she even kept my dog for an extra day because my flight was delayed. Very responsive and will definitely be booking again.”

“B. is simply the best. She connects with your pets and goes the extra mile. She made sure every instruction was followed and took fabulous care of our three dogs. She is kind and patient with my less confident little dog and understood the needs of my rambunctious puppy and my more senior dog. I was very nervous about my fur babies and B. alleviated my fears and took beautiful care of our dogs. 💯⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

I can’t recommend Amanda enough. I was so anxious about leaving my puppy for the first time and Amanda made everything go smoothly. She answered all my questions, sent lots of pictures and detailed notes. I will be booking with Amanda every time I need someone to watch my puppy.

Brooke really helped us with our kitty when we were in a time crunch. She did everything we asked her to do along with making our kitty feel comfortable. He’s a shy boy too, but really seemed to enjoy when she came to check on him! Definitely will be booking again.

Marisa did amazing with my 10 week old puppy! She came with prior experience and was very knowledgeable about working with high energy puppies. She practiced training commands with him and went above and beyond just playing and letting him out. She was patient and caring. She sent updates while she was there along with pictures and videos to show me how it was going (which I loved because I was nervous as I'm a first time dog owner). I'm so happy I booked with her. I definitely recommend.

Gaby was wonderful! She is so kind and amazing with dogs. This was my first time using Rover or any pet sitting services for my 4 month puppy and she did so great, my puppy loves her. She saved me when I didn’t have any support at the time. I made a mistake with scheduling and she was also very understanding! 10/10 will continue to book her in the future :)

Destony, did an excellent job spending time with the dog, walking and feeding along with communicating. The dog was staying at an assisted living facility, while the owner was away. She kept me informed of other people taking care of the dog. Very helpful to know the dog was so loved.

We were in a bind. Ran off to vacation and forgot to feed our poor boy Armin. I reached out and Isabella responded quickly. She couldn’t get there when we requested but we worked it out. She arrived earlier than expected and did everything quickly and professionally. She communicated and made sure to send pics. She’s very nice and I definitely will use her again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
