“Christelle was awesome. Great communication, photos and Freddie was happy and well taken care of. We were so happy with her service. Will definitely request again”

“Emily was an absolute blessing for my dog! Though my dog suffers from separation anxiety, Emily made her feel so comfortable, she even ate every meal! Emily took her on long walks, which is her favorite, and kept me super informed with lots of photos! Great communication, overall the best experience we’ve had since using Rover! We will be using Emily in the future!!”

About: Have taken care of and owned dogs all my life as well as been partnering with another pet sitting business to take in overflow. No kid home, safe and secure for your pet. Open to special requests such as if you want your dog walked at a park once a day, or kept separate from any other animals, etc. also if you’d like daily or multidaily updates and photos that can be requested. I work from home as a tailor so I’m home most of the day, no long hours away. I live alone so no extra people or strangers will be in the house or going in and out throughout the day. Close to Colonial animal hospital and Blue pearl incase of any emergency. I have a 6 foot fenced yard and a friendly small dog that is happy to play with a new friend. If your pet sleeps in bed at night I’d be happy to accommodate or if they’re crated at night I can also do so for you. I try to follow the same rules they live by at home including if they’re allowed on furniture, how they’re fed, etc.
About: I’ve always loved dogs, currently have an old pup and excited to meet your fur friends and help take care of your dog(s)! The world is just a better place with dogs and I’ve always felt that way. I’d be happy to help show your pets attention and support where it is needed, as I’ve always had a dog and been the “go to” person to watch a friend or families pet while they’re away. I’m a full time working, single mother with some flexibility in my schedule daily. I own a home with a fenced in yard and have two kids who love pets just as much as me. We also have an 8 year old yellow lab at home, Kate. I enjoy walks and runs so happy to add that into my day and help. I have a fenced in yard and a yellow lab who is friendly with other pets and happy to have a friend over. My children and I absolute enjoy having fur friends over, and helping take care of them.
About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and current pet parent to a 9-year-old black Labrador retriever and a 2-year-old cat, both incredibly friendly and well-socialized with other animals. Since I work remotely and am home most of the day, your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches — they’ll get consistent attention, company, and care throughout the day, not just quick check-ins. Having a senior dog myself means I understand the extra care, patience, and routine that older pets often need, while my cat keeps me well-practiced with feline personalities too. Your pet will have their own private room in my townhouse, so they’ll have a comfortable, quiet space to settle into if they need a break from the action. Because I’m home so much, I’m able to offer multiple walks throughout the day, so active dogs will get plenty of exercise and bathroom breaks on a consistent schedule. I’m attentive to feeding routines, medication needs, and any specific quirks your pet has — just let me know what works best for them. I work from home full-time, so pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I’m available every single day, including weekdays and weekends, for both walks and boarding. Since I’m home consistently, your pet will get regular attention, playtime, and walks throughout the day rather than being left alone for long stretches. I have a spacious two-story townhouse with plenty of room for pets to roam and stay active indoors. Your pet will have their own private room for a quiet, comfortable retreat. I’m close to two dog parks for extra exercise and socialization, and I’m happy to walk dogs every 3 hours if needed to keep them comfortable and on schedule.

About: Throughout my high school and college experiences, I have fulfilled my volunteer hours working with local humane socialites! Animals have always had a special place in my heart. Having earned my bachelor’s in psychology, I was able to take a course about therapy using animals! Currently I am a fine dining server for a restaurant only open for dinner! So I am only ever unavailable for 4-5 hours most days, but can make stops before and after going to work!! My schedule has made me very flexible, and I would love to help those take care of their fur babies who may need an extra hand! I am currently employed at a fine dining seafood restaurant job that is open 4PM- 10PM everyday! I wake up early and have the whole day available until my nightly shift. And, I never would mind making a stop after I get off work! I just moved recently, so I am scouting 2 cats myself. With that, I recently moved out of my ex- lover’s house where he had a cat and 2 dogs. There was a completely fenced in backyard for the puppies to play, and plenty of space for the cat to roam! I’m my new house, we have an extra room that will be dedicated to the kitty’s and will be called the “cat room”, while we also have quite a large back patio where they can freely roam and get fresh air!!

“Linda takes excellent care of our cat, Daisy. She is always on time, dependable and always does everything we ask. We never had any issue. We will use her again and again!”

I currently have two rescue pets—a large dog named Romeo and a black cat named Juliet—both adopted from the Humane Society, where I’ve volunteered over 60 hours. I will care for your pets as if they were my own! I work a standard 8-5 schedule Monday through Friday, but I’m available from 5 PM to 9 PM on weekdays. On Saturdays and Sundays, I’m available all day. Let me know the time and date that works best for you—I look forward to helping you and your furry friend(s)! Romeo and Juliet have the freedom to roam and sleep wherever they like. We keep a water bowl downstairs for Romeo and another upstairs for Juliet, though she happily uses both. I also have two pet cameras set up, allowing me to check on them whenever I’m away from home. I carefully review all instructions to ensure your pets can stick to their usual routine while you're away!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Buckingham
Gabby was fantastic taking care of our two cats, Blu and Aladdin, while we were away. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly loves animals — she sent us updates and photos so we always knew our boys were happy and well cared for. Our cats can be particular, but Gabby made sure they had everything they needed and gave them plenty of attention. We came home to two relaxed, happy cats and a clean space. Highly recommend Gabby to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring pet sitter!

Such a sweetheart! My dog absolutely loved having Alexa and she was very communicative, on time, and provided the same care and love that I would have provided. I immediately had on guilt when I left her but felt so much better after receiving pictures of my dog literally living her best life. The joy, and excitement in my dogs face in each picture proved that I made a great choice! We are looking forward to booking with her again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
