About: Experienced and compassionate dog caregiver offering expert care for dogs of all ages, including senior pets and pregnant females. Skilled in whelping support, dog nutrition research, and recipe creation. I understand many animal behaviors and provide personalized, loving attention to every pup. Not required, but if possible, I request to bring my 2 vaccinated dachshunds for overnight stays. As a full-time stay-at-home dog mom, pet care is my primary focus every single day. Because I am home throughout the day, your dog will enjoy consistent companionship, a structured routine, and regular attention. My schedule is incredibly reliable and stable. During the school year, my 12-year-old daughter is with me on alternating weekends and holidays. During the summer months, we switch to an alternating weekly visitation schedule. This predictable calendar allows me to plan my days completely around the needs of my guest dogs, ensuring they are never left alone for extended periods and receive seamless, dedicated care. Safety is my absolute top priority, and I maintain a highly vigilant environment. My home is entirely set up for small-dog safety with low-to-the-ground comfort and secure spaces. I share my home with two friendly dachshund brothers who are used to welcoming guest pups. When it comes to outdoor time, I strictly prefer structured leash walking over unsupervised yard time. Living in Southwest Florida, I am hyper-aware of the local wildlife risks. During our warm, rainy season months (typically May through October), invasive and highly toxic Bufo Toads (Cane Toads) become heavily rampant in residential areas. By keeping your dog securely on a leash and under close supervision at all times, I completely eliminate the risk of a dangerous encounter, ensuring your pampered pooch stays entirely safe, secure, and protected.

I do have a full time job, but I want stay busy and have a side hustle. Plus, caring for animals give me joy ☺️ I prefer to take care of your pet in the comfort of your home. A place for your pet that is familiar to them to feel comfortable.
About: I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I’m dependable and attentive, with experience housesitting and dog sitting for friends and family. I’ve cared for dogs of different ages and personalities, from playful puppies to older pets who just need some extra patience and comfort. My schedule is very flexible right now, which means I can give pets plenty of attention, exercise, and care whenever it’s needed. I enjoy spending time with animals, so fitting pet care into my daily routine feels natural and rewarding. I like to stick to your pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and safe. I’ll handle feeding, walks, playtime, and of course lots of love and attention. My goal is to make sure they’re happy and relaxed while you’re away.
“Michelle D. is a God-send.... and we are so grateful for her care for our fur babies. She cares for them as if they are her own. And we have no worries when she is watching them . A blessing !”

About: Since I was 9 years old, our family always had 3 dogs or more! Whether it was our 8 week old puppy we nursed back to health, or our 12 year old chihuahua that we pull out of seizures. I’ve had 2 Vet Clinic jobs and I’ve also worked at a Dog Resort so I’m very familiar with taking care of any dog of any size! I won’t let you down! I am available for pet care most days all day. My ideal routine is 1/2 drop in visits through the day. Unfortunately I’m unable to stay at clients’ houses anymore due to obligations at home. One thing about me is that I view our dogs as family. Therefore we let our 68lb Golden Retriever snuggle up right next to us each night! We also are regular with her Vet visits.
About: Throughout my high school and college experiences, I have fulfilled my volunteer hours working with local humane socialites! Animals have always had a special place in my heart. Having earned my bachelor’s in psychology, I was able to take a course about therapy using animals! Currently I am a fine dining server for a restaurant only open for dinner! So I am only ever unavailable for 4-5 hours most days, but can make stops before and after going to work!! My schedule has made me very flexible, and I would love to help those take care of their fur babies who may need an extra hand! I am currently employed at a fine dining seafood restaurant job that is open 4PM- 10PM everyday! I wake up early and have the whole day available until my nightly shift. And, I never would mind making a stop after I get off work! I just moved recently, so I am scouting 2 cats myself. With that, I recently moved out of my ex- lover’s house where he had a cat and 2 dogs. There was a completely fenced in backyard for the puppies to play, and plenty of space for the cat to roam! I’m my new house, we have an extra room that will be dedicated to the kitty’s and will be called the “cat room”, while we also have quite a large back patio where they can freely roam and get fresh air!!
“Logan is great! We just moved to the area and needed some last minute assistance. Logan quickly responded, completed a meet and greet and set us at ease that Diego would be well taken care of. Highly recommend!”

“Melissa was great at communicating and sent multiple pictures of our boy Simba while we were away. He was happy to see her every day and we are pleased Simba was taken care of so well by Melissa.”

I truly believe in treating your pets as I would want mine treated I have open availability 7 days a week. Feel free to contact me last minute as I am very flexible. Animals in my care come before anything else. I want animal parents to feel completely at ease knowing their pets are safe, loved, and put before anything else. Any specific requests or needs will be fully respected. I am also able to provide additional pet services.
About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and current pet parent to a 9-year-old black Labrador retriever and a 2-year-old cat, both incredibly friendly and well-socialized with other animals. Since I work remotely and am home most of the day, your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches — they’ll get consistent attention, company, and care throughout the day, not just quick check-ins. Having a senior dog myself means I understand the extra care, patience, and routine that older pets often need, while my cat keeps me well-practiced with feline personalities too. Your pet will have their own private room in my townhouse, so they’ll have a comfortable, quiet space to settle into if they need a break from the action. Because I’m home so much, I’m able to offer multiple walks throughout the day, so active dogs will get plenty of exercise and bathroom breaks on a consistent schedule. I’m attentive to feeding routines, medication needs, and any specific quirks your pet has — just let me know what works best for them. I work from home full-time, so pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I’m available every single day, including weekdays and weekends, for both walks and boarding. Since I’m home consistently, your pet will get regular attention, playtime, and walks throughout the day rather than being left alone for long stretches. I have a spacious two-story townhouse with plenty of room for pets to roam and stay active indoors. Your pet will have their own private room for a quiet, comfortable retreat. I’m close to two dog parks for extra exercise and socialization, and I’m happy to walk dogs every 3 hours if needed to keep them comfortable and on schedule.
“Chelsea was great! She was super prompt in her initial response to me and we set up a time to meet the very same day so she could meet my pets. She was reliable and on time for all the visits and sent lots of details and pictures. We’ll definitely use her again.”

“If you’re looking for an incredibly detail oriented, pet obsessed, dependable sitter - you can stop here, Nicoleia your girl. She did everything I asked to take care of my super senior cat, Simba, and wrote super detailed follow ups with tons of photos every single day. She even went above and beyond and noticed it was trash day and took my bins out without me asking. I’m super grateful to have found her - my cat gets upset every time I leave and usually lets me know by making all sorts of messes - Nicole is the first pet sitter I’ve had that he’s immediately loved so much that I don’t even have to worry about that. An actual pet whisperer, I finally have found someone that makes me not have to worry about my babies while I’m gone 🥹”

About: I have my own dog at home so I understand the importance of making sure dogs are happy, healthy and safe. My dog even eats the best around here! Premium food, no kibble. (No hate against kibble, this is just to highlight that I make sure to take the best care of my animals). I treat pets the same way I would like my pets to be treated! He also sleeps in my bed with me. I grew up on a farm and I also would take care of neighbors farms as well. With this said, I have hands-on experience with horses, birds, cats, dogs, fish etc. Horses definitely have been the trickiest to take care of with them being huge, dangerous and fragile so I believe if I can take care of horses, I can take care of almost anything easy peasy. This background has given me a broad understanding of the specific needs and behaviors of different animals. My volunteer work at animal shelters and shadowing at veterinary clinics have increased my knowledge of animal care, behavior, and health, equipping me to handle various situations with confidence and compassion. I've recently decided to join Rover again to make some extra money as a student. I would be happy to help you and your fur baby! I'm currently a senior majoring in marketing at FGCU and I currently do not have a job so I have a ton of free time to take care of your animals! I live in an apartment currently. I take my dog out at least 4-5 times a day and I take him to the dog park almost everyday!

About: I’ve been a pet owner for many years and understand how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for your pets when you’re away. I’ve also cared for my daughter’s pets and am comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, companionship, and following each pet’s normal routine. I’m patient, dependable, attentive, and will treat your pets with the same care and affection I give my own. I know every pet has their own personality, so I take the time to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while in my care. I work during the day Monday through Friday and am available for pet care in the late afternoons and evenings. I have more flexibility on weekends and holidays and am happy to work with your pet’s normal routine. I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to me. I’ll carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, routines, medications, and any special needs. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll treat both your pet and your home with respect. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

Such a sweetheart! My dog absolutely loved having Alexa and she was very communicative, on time, and provided the same care and love that I would have provided. I immediately had on guilt when I left her but felt so much better after receiving pictures of my dog literally living her best life. The joy, and excitement in my dogs face in each picture proved that I made a great choice! We are looking forward to booking with her again!

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
