About: I have taken care of cats for as long as I can remember! My first kitty, Ginger, was brought into my family before I was born, and passed of old age around when I was 8. A few years later, I was able to convince my mom to let me have not only one, but two. A brother and sister, Jack and Licorice, respectively. They were my pride and joy, until recently a few years ago Jack, who out lived Licorice, passed sway, but thankfully was a peaceful, harmless death of old age. Since a child, I was always in charge of the litter box, knowing all the steps that go into ensuring its freshness and comfortability for the furry babies to use. I did have another experience later in life where I learned a lot when one of my best friends had a kitten, Bhodie that had a suddenly rare condition he could not use his back legs. With this, I would help her put diapers on him and help him pee manually until his passing. I would be so grateful to be in the presence and take care of the duties for kittens and cats, as it is something I am well experienced on, and miss spending time with so much!!

Since I’m home consistently, your pet will get regular attention, playtime, and walks throughout the day rather than being left alone for long stretches. I have a spacious two-story townhouse with plenty of room for pets to roam and stay active indoors. Your pet will have their own private room for a quiet, comfortable retreat. I’m close to two dog parks for extra exercise and socialization, and I’m happy to walk dogs every 3 hours if needed to keep them comfortable and on schedule.

About: Hi, my name is Bre and my family loves animals. We have a 160 pound 4 year old Great Dane that we absolutely adore. He is gentle and patient and happy to be around other dogs and even cats. We also have two cats. Your dog will likely not see the cats or mice during the visit to our home, but will get to play in our fenced in yard with our dog as much as needed or wanted. Your pet will get lots of attention and love in our home. I have a part time, work from home job. I will be with your pet the entire time apart from my short walks to the bus stop (which your pup might enjoy joining). About: Hello! My name is Alex and I am currently a registered nurse. I moved to Fort Myers 2 years ago, but I am originally from Virginia. I love all animals but specifically, I have a real warm appreciation for dogs. Back in Virginia, my mother is a certified dog trainer and started her own dog training/boarding company so we had many different breeds at our house 24/7 and I loved every moment of it! I have learned many training tips from my mom, and ever since I moved to Florida I miss the comfort of having pups around which is why I joined Rover. My schedule for work is different every week so the best way to know which days I am available is to look at my calendar. I live in an apartment with my boyfriend and we have hosted many dogs before. We have 1 miniature dachshund who gets along well with other dogs. Our apartment complex is very dog friendly and has a dog park. For safety purposes and to keep your dog safe, I do not go to the dog park if there are other dogs there and I do not host dogs from different families at the same time.
About: Taking care of animals including dogs and cats was responsibility I learned at a very young age. My friends and family have relied and trusted me to care for and walk there pets when needed. About: I have had dogs all of my life. I am adept at training even the most challenging breeds. I am comfortable with all dog breeds as long as the pet is friendly. I used to foster dogs and was active in the Humane Society prior to having kids. I now have a 3-acre fenced property that is perfect to host dogs while their owners are away. I have a lab mix (very friendly) who we love throwing the ball for and have room for more! I have a flexible work schedule and am able to accommodate pets. I have plenty of outdoor space and provide plenty of exercise by throwing the ball and going on walks. I have a 3-acre fenced property with goats, chickens, and a senior lab.
