About: I have owned dogs most my life and even owned a variety of other animals like fish, bunnies, and guinea pigs. I also currently have 2 dogs of my own and have also done dog training with dogs I've owned in the past. Im friendly with a great work ethic and even have some training and knowledge with a variety of household pets. I am able to care for others fur babies while my 3 children are in school from the hours of 8-2. I can also be pretty flexible. About: I have taken care of cats for as long as I can remember! My first kitty, Ginger, was brought into my family before I was born, and passed of old age around when I was 8. A few years later, I was able to convince my mom to let me have not only one, but two. A brother and sister, Jack and Licorice, respectively. They were my pride and joy, until recently a few years ago Jack, who out lived Licorice, passed sway, but thankfully was a peaceful, harmless death of old age. Since a child, I was always in charge of the litter box, knowing all the steps that go into ensuring its freshness and comfortability for the furry babies to use. I did have another experience later in life where I learned a lot when one of my best friends had a kitten, Bhodie that had a suddenly rare condition he could not use his back legs. With this, I would help her put diapers on him and help him pee manually until his passing. I would be so grateful to be in the presence and take care of the duties for kittens and cats, as it is something I am well experienced on, and miss spending time with so much!!
About: The same with dogs, I’ve been around cats and even try to care for strays too. I had a kitten in recent years. Poor little thing had worms, luckily I took him to the vet and recovery was quick and easy. I even looked after a calm senior cat for a an elder couple. Mostly, changing his litter, clean his water bowl, and set up his food in his bowl.

About: I grew up on a 60 acre ranch in Oregon. Horses, cattle, dogs, cats, birds, pigs, ducks, geese, chickens, goats, and fish as pets. I've had a dog, cat and bird that grew up together and ate, slept and played together. Raised ducks and gesse that followed me wherever I went. Raised birds to talk and whistle songs. Had fish trained to eat from my hand and let me pet them. I've had as many as 6 dogs at one time of different and/or mixed breeds. I've had as many as 10 cats at one time, always with one that I was 'his person'. I will play with your pets, sit with and comfort them, whatever they need that day. Whatever their needs to make them feel comfortable while you are gone, I'm sure I can accommodate. They miss us when we are gone far more than we probably realize. I know how to read body language, recognize when a dog is escalating, and back off before things get to that point. If your dog is nervous, reactive, or just doesn't do well with strangers, I'm not going to be rattled by it — but I will want to hear about it upfront so we can plan the visits around what works for them. I've had dogs my whole life and currently have three of my own. My oldest is 8, so I'm well versed in senior care — joint stiffness, needing more potty breaks, the extra patience it takes. I also give her daily medication, so pills, liquids, and staying on schedule are routine for me. If your dog needs meds while you're gone, that's covered. I'll follow your routine as written, not my version of it. And I'll send photos and updates every visit so you know exactly how your dog is doing. My days are built around my animals. Three dogs and two cats keep me on a routine — morning potty break and feeding, meds for one of my dogs on schedule, walks, midday check-ins, litter box maintenance, and evening feeding and settling in. My schedule is wide open right now, which means I can build visits around what your pet actually needs instead of squeezing them into a narrow window. In your home, I follow your routine exactly as you've written it — same feeding times, same portions, same walk route, same spots on the couch they're allowed on. Pets do better when nothing changes, so I'm not going to substitute my way of doing things. Every visit: fresh water, food per your instructions, potty break or full walk, litter boxes handled, meds on schedule, and a good look at how they're doing — appetite, energy, output, anything that seems off. About: I am capable of handling dogs of many different sizes and ages. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in property where dogs can either run around freely or be kept on a least. At my home your pet receives near round-the-clock supervision since I am a stay at home parent My schedule is dedicated to pets nearly 100% of the time since I am a stay at home mother. I have three dogs of my own of varying sizes and ages, all with different needs that I maintain as part of my daily routine. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard so your dog can run free (though I am happy to keep him on a leash if you are more comfortable). Dogs in my home are generally allowed to climb on furniture or sleep in the bed, but I also have crates available for dogs that may prefer to sleep in one. I have baby gates throughout my home to separate dogs as needed (for example a gate between carpeted and hard floors for dogs who might have potty problems)
