About: I’ve always loved dogs, currently have an old pup and excited to meet your fur friends and help take care of your dog(s)! The world is just a better place with dogs and I’ve always felt that way. I’d be happy to help show your pets attention and support where it is needed, as I’ve always had a dog and been the “go to” person to watch a friend or families pet while they’re away. I’m a full time working, single mother with some flexibility in my schedule daily. I own a home with a fenced in yard and have two kids who love pets just as much as me. We also have an 8 year old yellow lab at home, Kate. I enjoy walks and runs so happy to add that into my day and help. Having earned my bachelor’s in psychology, I was able to take a course about therapy using animals! Currently I am a fine dining server for a restaurant only open for dinner! So I am only ever unavailable for 4-5 hours most days, but can make stops before and after going to work!! And, I never would mind making a stop after I get off work! I just moved recently, so I am scouting 2 cats myself. With that, I recently moved out of my ex- lover’s house where he had a cat and 2 dogs. There was a completely fenced in backyard for the puppies to play, and plenty of space for the cat to roam! I’m my new house, we have an extra room that will be dedicated to the kitty’s and will be called the “cat room”, while we also have quite a large back patio where they can freely roam and get fresh air!!

About: Hello! My name is Alex and I am currently a registered nurse. I moved to Fort Myers 2 years ago, but I am originally from Virginia. I love all animals but specifically, I have a real warm appreciation for dogs. Back in Virginia, my mother is a certified dog trainer and started her own dog training/boarding company so we had many different breeds at our house 24/7 and I loved every moment of it! I have learned many training tips from my mom, and ever since I moved to Florida I miss the comfort of having pups around which is why I joined Rover. I consider myself a person whose not only affectionate but very trustworthy, energetic, friendly, professional and reliable. These characteristics led me to my nursing career. My schedule for work is different every week so the best way to know which days I am available is to look at my calendar. I live in an apartment with my boyfriend and we have hosted many dogs before. We have 1 miniature dachshund who gets along well with other dogs. Our apartment complex is very dog friendly and has a dog park. For safety purposes and to keep your dog safe, I do not go to the dog park if there are other dogs there and I do not host dogs from different families at the same time.
