“Monika was absolutely amazing with Rocky 😊 She was so sweet and loving towards him like he was her own pet. It was Rocky’s first day being home alone in a new house and I was so worried about how he’d be. But all my anxiety was eased immediately when I saw how Monika interacted with him. Even got down on the floor and played with him. She’s truly the best and I will definitely will be using her again!”
“Thank you Serena for taking great care of Paisley during the week. She enjoyed her walks and play time! Loved seeing the photos that were sent on the rover cards every day. Serena is dependable and answers quickly! Will be contacting her again when needed!”

“I’ve been a repeat customer of Alexzandria, and I can’t recommend her enough! She takes such great care of my two dogs and is incredibly dependable. She makes sure they’re both fed and actually stays with them while they eat, which is especially important because one of my dogs will happily eat the other’s food if no one is there to supervise! 😂 She also takes them on long walks and handles both of my big dogs with confidence and ease. Most importantly, they absolutely love her and are always so happy to see her. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing they’re in such good hands. We’ll definitely continue booking with her!”

“Heather is so helpful. As someone with anxiety about leaving my dog with someone she was so comforting and supportive! Bethel loves her ! Would book again if I lived in the area!”

“Constance was a very reliable dog walker for my dad's dog Lily! She helped out so much while he was recovering from a hospital stay, and we really appreciate all her help.”

About: My veterinary training and hands on experience caring for animals in different settings help set me apart as a pet sitter. I graduated from Southern Technical College as a Certified Veterinary Assistant in 2022 and have worked as a veterinary technician in both an urgent care facility and a general practice. Before my schooling, I also gained experience as a kennel technician, where I learned the importance of proper handling, cleaning protocols, and daily animal care. Because of this background, I am comfortable caring for pets of all ages, including puppies and Senior pets who may need extra medical support. I follow each pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. My goal is to provide a safe, clean, and calm environment while keeping pet parents updated with messages and photos.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
