About: I’ve always been the one to call to take care of pets for friends, family and family friends. I’m very strongly relied on to walk, feed, bathe and love anyone’s fur baby! I’m currently working part time Thursday-Sunday nights each week. I have more than enough free time every morning, afternoon and night after work to care for any pet. I can easily put your dog in their crate or in any area told to me by the owner. My main priority is for the pets to feel the most comfortable and in their routine as possible.
“Bill was fantastic. He and my Mini Australian Shepherd, Luna, hit it off immediately. She came back exhausted…. Which is what we like to see. Also kept me updated and sent a great picture.”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, not just pets, but family. I grew up around dogs, volunteered with the Humane Society throughout college, and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I also have experience with senior dogs and dogs needing extra medical care. One of my huskies developed diabetes and eventually went blind, so I became very comfortable administering medications and injections, following strict routines, and giving patient, loving care. I lost my sweet Shih Tzu after 17 amazing years together, and now I have two spoiled pups of my own, Gracie and Lily. I truly understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I treat every animal like they are my own. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just calm companionship, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule and am available most weekends, with weekday availability on many days as well. I’m happy to work with pet parents whenever possible and always do my best to accommodate schedules, routines, and special care needs. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets are treated like family. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, medications, energy levels, and personalities so each pet feels comfortable and cared for. I live in a very dog-friendly area in Fort Myers with plenty of space for walks, playtime, and exercise. I always prioritize safety, supervision, communication, and making sure your pet feels at home.
“I couldn't recommend a better dog walker. Her photos and summary of each walk were fun to read. My pup loved her. She was flexible on the time schedule. We occasionally called her to modify the scheduled times and she was very flexible. I was very thankful.”

“Michelle is sweet, dependable and great with our dog! She really spends the full 30 taking him for a walk and then eventually plays with him for a little bit afterwards before leaving! I know Butch is well taken care of and well loved when Michelle watches him!”
“Jessica was absolutely wonderful with my 10 month old puppy! He’s very attached to me and welcomed to her instantly which made me feel extremely comfortable. Great communication and very flexible. Will definitely be using her in the future. Thank you, Jessica!”

About: Hey I’m Isabelle! I’m from Massachusetts but I have lived in SWFL for 3 years. I am 25 years old and have grown up around a variety of animals (cats, dogs, horses, birds, rabbits, and more) I grew up with 3 dogs…A German short haired pointer, a golden doodle, and a morkie poo. My boyfriend and I currently have 2 cats and a dog! I have managed a pet store for the last 3 years. I used to dog sit and dog walk for a few people up north so I have some references if needed since I am new to Rover. I love all dogs and cats no matter the age, breed or size!!! I am more than willing to make sure your pet is busy and happily entertained while I’m with them! I am moving out of state at the end of August so I am no longer working until I move, so I have the entire month of August free. I’ll be available pretty much any day and time for check ins or walks! I will actively entertain your pet from the moment I get there and treat them as if they were my own. I try to keep walks different if I can. Not the same route every visit, I switch it up if possible.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
