Christelle is the best walker/sitter. She communicates perfectly, and is extremely punctual. I'm pretty sure my dog get more excited to see her than he does for me. If you go with her services you will not be disappointed. She made everything really easy for me being a first time furparent.

About: Hi everyone I’m Peyton! I have taken care of dogs my entire life. I have also taken care of neighbors dogs and friends dogs when they go out of town. I have a dog of my own (Callie) a golden retriever that I love oh so very much! I love love love all animals and would love you help out as many of you that I can!! Please feel free to message and ask questions. You are in good hands with me. Right now it is off season so work is slow so I need extra cash for sure. I am very available right now and could definitely be a consistent person to have around your pet! I live in a town house home with a small back yard. I go on daily walks with my dog, feed her twice a day, and ensure plenty of treats and belly rubs as deserved! There are plenty of toys around the house and a bed upstairs and downstairs. When I go to a guests house my one job is the dog. I promise you nothing else ever has my attention and I tend to stay longer than the expected time because dogs deserve that and not to be alone. (I have to leave my dog too I know it’s tough times rn)

About: With seven years of owning and operating my own pet-sitting business, I've had the privilege of caring for pets of all ages, breeds, and personalities. I am certified in Applied Canine Ethology through the Ethology Institute, giving me specialized knowledge of canine behavior and body language, and I am also certified in Pet First Aid and CPR, so you can have added peace of mind knowing your pet's safety is always my top priority. I specialize in working with pets who are anxious, fearful, reactive, aggressive, or simply need a little extra patience and understanding. My goal is to build trust, maintain your pet's routine, and create a calm, low-stress environment where they can feel safe and comfortable while you're away. Whether your companion is energetic, shy, or has unique behavioral needs, you can count on dependable, compassionate, and experienced care every step of the way. Furthermore, I love to care for all animals! I have cared for birds, a monkey (yes, a monkey!), turtles, lizards, snakes, and bunnies. I have a love for photography and dog training, and I have always incorporated these into my work! When you entrust your pet to me, you're choosing someone who values not only their happiness, but also their emotional well-being, safety, and individual needs. I have just moved from Naples, where I pet sat full-time for 6 years. I am building my pet sitting business here in Gateway. I love to walk/run with dogs, play with the pups/cats, or simply just chill if that's what they prefer! Let's talk and customize their visits to what fits best for them!

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and current pet parent to a 9-year-old black Labrador retriever and a 2-year-old cat, both incredibly friendly and well-socialized with other animals. Since I work remotely and am home most of the day, your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches — they’ll get consistent attention, company, and care throughout the day, not just quick check-ins. Having a senior dog myself means I understand the extra care, patience, and routine that older pets often need, while my cat keeps me well-practiced with feline personalities too. Your pet will have their own private room in my townhouse, so they’ll have a comfortable, quiet space to settle into if they need a break from the action. Because I’m home so much, I’m able to offer multiple walks throughout the day, so active dogs will get plenty of exercise and bathroom breaks on a consistent schedule. I’m attentive to feeding routines, medication needs, and any specific quirks your pet has — just let me know what works best for them. I work from home full-time, so pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I’m available every single day, including weekdays and weekends, for both walks and boarding. Since I’m home consistently, your pet will get regular attention, playtime, and walks throughout the day rather than being left alone for long stretches. I have a spacious two-story townhouse with plenty of room for pets to roam and stay active indoors. Your pet will have their own private room for a quiet, comfortable retreat. I’m close to two dog parks for extra exercise and socialization, and I’m happy to walk dogs every 3 hours if needed to keep them comfortable and on schedule.

Christian was fantastic. My Gracie was well taken care of. She’s an older dog and Christian let her walk at her own pace. He was very caring, always made sure she had fresh water, a treat and some extra puppy rubs before he left. Christian also had excellent communication with me throughout the process and would send pictures of Gracie on their walk. I highly recommend him for any pet services! Thank you so much Christian!

  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
