About: I’m an overnight journalist who just recently made the big move from Arkansas to Florida! I have had animals my entire life up until this move (so hard to leave family pets!), so would love the chance to take care of your furry friend while also using up both of our extra energy through walks/playtime! I work overnights (typically 11 PM to 8 AM) so am available all day for drop-ins/walks! I am more than happy to plan my sleep around your pet. About: I have owned dogs and cats my whole life, and am currently a volunteer foster caregiver for HEAL fostering cats and kittens. I am committed to making sure animals are fed, clean, and played with! I am available during all days and times of the week except for on Tuesdays/Thursdays! I can come to see your cat/dog twice daily if needed. I make sure to play with the animals, give them high quality food and clean water, cleaning their litter/walk them, make sure they’re active, and get lots of love.

About: My whole life I have been surrounded by animals of all kind. I always navigated to them, growing a deep passion and love for all sizes, shapes, and types of animals. In my teenage years to now I have been a reliable pet sitter, and friendly companion while the pets owners are not able to be there. I currently live in a place where my landlord prefers me to not have a pet, so I try my best to stay surrounded by other’s pets. I truly enjoy the company of a furry friend and would love to help you have a smoother schedule and not have to worry about the time missed with them while you’re away. I am a yoga teacher by morning and waitress by night however my days are somewhat open and flexible with the current schedule that I have, I am typically at work for 6 hours. Unfortunately I would not be a great fit for smaller dogs that need to go out more often but if their bathroom schedule fits well with my work schedule, I’d love to be their companion while you are away and give them all the attention when I am there with them. Since my landlord will not allow me to have pets, I can only care for your pets in the comfort of your own space. I find it easy to adapt to each pet’s needs and do whatever I need to to make sure they are comfortable, happy, and feel loved.

About: Hello! My name is Alex and I am currently a registered nurse. I moved to Fort Myers 2 years ago, but I am originally from Virginia. I love all animals but specifically, I have a real warm appreciation for dogs. Back in Virginia, my mother is a certified dog trainer and started her own dog training/boarding company so we had many different breeds at our house 24/7 and I loved every moment of it! I have learned many training tips from my mom, and ever since I moved to Florida I miss the comfort of having pups around which is why I joined Rover. I consider myself a person whose not only affectionate but very trustworthy, energetic, friendly, professional and reliable. These characteristics led me to my nursing career. My schedule is flexible and I can provide my own transportation. If you need to reach me, texting is the best way to contact me. I promise to take care of your dog as if it was my own. My schedule for work is different every week so the best way to know which days I am available is to look at my calendar. I live in an apartment with my boyfriend and we have hosted many dogs before. We have 1 miniature dachshund who gets along well with other dogs. Our apartment complex is very dog friendly and has a dog park. For safety purposes and to keep your dog safe, I do not go to the dog park if there are other dogs there and I do not host dogs from different families at the same time.

About: I live in GATEWAY, near JetBlue park. I grew up on a farm in Ohio tending for many animals for many years. Have owned several cats, dogs and lizards in my adult life. Do not currently own any pets I am a Flight Attendant. I create my own travel schedule, so I can be flexible with enough notice. When I’m home I’m completely flexible with my routine. We live on a quiet street great for long walks. We have a large lanai that is perfect for napping. Our neighborhood requires all animals to be leashed outside so I will be with your dog at all times.

It’s not uncommon for me to hangout for up to an hour. I don’t view this as a job. It’s a honor and a pleasure to spend time with any and all fur babies so I’m often not in a hurry to leave. I’ve been a housekeeper for many years and have always done Petsitting/Pet Care on the side for my cleaning customers. Now that I am older I have given up the house cleaning and am just focusing on the fur babies. I moved down here to Florida a few years ago and decided I want to get back to petsitting. I was a former school bus driver back in Michigan. When I moved to Florida the thought of driving bus in this crazy traffic did not appeal to me. I became a store manager for a self storage facility down here but I’ve decided it’s time for me to get back to my passion. I want to care and love on your babies!!! I have one elderly cat and two dogs currently in my home. My cat has to be quarantined to one part of the house due to the fact my dog Molly has developed a fear of cats and can’t be trusted with Lucy. She also doesn’t like other dogs so I unfortunately can’t do any petsitting in my home. I have excellent references that can be provided. I understand it is scary to let a stranger watch your fur child so I will gladly provide references at your request. I will cater to your pets special needs and will do my best to provide them comfort and love while you are away.
