About: I’ve been caring for pets for most of my life, with over 25 years of experience looking after cats and more than 20 years as a proud dog dad. What started as “the kids’ cats” quickly turned into a lifelong love of feline companionship—because, as any cat owner knows, they always decide who their person is! I currently share my home with two cats and truly enjoy getting to know each cat’s unique personality, routines, and preferences. As a longtime dog parent as well, I understand how important consistency, patience, and affection are for dogs of all ages and energy levels. From walks and mealtimes to playtime and quiet companionship, I’m comfortable providing the care and attention pets need to feel safe and happy while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and take pride in creating a calm, loving environment. If you’re looking for someone dependable, experienced, and genuinely excited to care for your furry family member, I’d love to help. I just retired from the Army. I have a lot of time on my hands. Your fury family member will be my first priority of the day! All special needs will be met for your animals. If your dog or dogs need crated for the night you can rest assure that all protocols will be followed to the letter of instructions left.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have always been the one my family counts on to train and care for our pets. During COVID, I turned that lifelong love into a neighborhood dog walking business, and I’ve kept it going ever since — spending my free time walking, training, and caring for dogs in the community. As a student athlete, my schedule revolves around classes and basketball practice — but outside of that, I’m free and flexible to work whenever you need me. When I’m caring for a dog, whether on a walk or in their own home, I treat them like one of my own. I make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and positive reinforcement, and I pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs and personality. I always follow the owner’s routines and instructions closely — feeding times, leash habits, favorite spots — so the dog feels comfortable and the owner feels at ease. Safety and consistency come first, but so does making sure every dog has fun.

About: I provide attentive, reliable care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments—from high-energy 90-pound Belgian Malinois to sweet 10-pound senior Shih-Tzus. Working with dogs is a major part of my daily life, and I am confident handling everything from active pups who need structured exercise to senior dogs who require patience and gentle support. I currently work at a professional dog training facility, where I walk, handle, and care for dogs every day. This experience has given me strong skills in reading canine body language, managing different energy levels, and maintaining safe, structured routines. I am comfortable following training plans and reinforcing positive behaviors to ensure consistency while your dog is in my care. I am also a proud rescue dog owner. My Husky mix has been my sidekick for the past two years, and caring for her has strengthened my understanding of consistency, positive reinforcement, and building trust. No task is too big or too small when it comes to your pet’s well-being. Whether your dog needs long walks, playtime, medication administration, or simply companionship, I approach every visit with responsibility, attentiveness, and genuine care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I will treat your dog as if they were my own and ensure you feel confident and at ease while they are in my care. I work part-time, which allows me a very flexible schedule. I’m available most mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and can also accommodate consistent or last-minute bookings. I will follow any directions you provide exactly as provided. I know some dogs can be known to escape when owners are gone and your pet will be kept under watchful eye the whole time. There will be plenty of love given to your furry loved one.

About: I’ve helped take care of my dogs since I was a child. I helped feed them, walk them, play with them.. I had a miniature pincher and a doberman pincher.. sadly, they aren’t with me anymore. I never had much experience with anyone else’s dogs except for 4. I am good at listening and listening to instructions. I have a strong and loving passion for dogs and many pets. I am willing to gain a lot more experience and I am hoping to gain a relationship with other dogs and their parents. I am currently a food server at a Mexican restaurant. I care for my tables and other people around. I have a passion for making people and pets feel loved and heard. I am willing to give my best efforts to your pets. I love the feeling of getting things done and making people and pets happy 😊 I am currently working a full-time job, I will work my best with anyone to fit their needs. I love pets and really want more experience and time with them. I want to walk them, feed them, play with them. I also want to show my love and care. I live in an apartment so I don’t have a backyard but I have a lot of space outside to walk and play with any pet. If needed, coming to the home of your pet, will completely work with me. I will listen and follow off of any instructions given to me.

About: My love for dogs is fur-ever growing! I’ve had dogs since I could remember. That bond I had with my first pup quickly grew into a passion, allowing me to enter the dog training world where I’ve befriended hundreds of dogs from all sizes and ages! Dogs gravitate towards me, maybe they sense that love (or smell the treats in my pockets) ;) Your pup and I will become the best of buds!! I have a part-time job, and I multitask very well, leaving me plenty of time to care for our furry friends. As a dog mom myself I know things come up last minute, and I want someone trustworthy enough to call in a time crunch…that’s me! As someone with lots of experience around dogs, I know they need a lot of enrichment. I could never get bored playing a little tug-of-war. I also know how some of our fur babies can get into trouble, so I keep a watchful eye out for things they might get into.

About: A Lifelong Dog Lover 🐾 I’ve been around dogs my entire life—literally since I was a baby! My parents have always had dogs, and I still regularly help care for theirs. Over the years, I’ve also had the privilege of caring for the dogs of friends, family, and neighbors. Today, I’m a proud dog mom to four rescue dogs of my own, who are absolutely my fur babies and, for now, my only children! 😂❤️ Having four very different personalities at home has taught me that every dog has their own routine, quirks, energy level, and way of communicating what they need. I also have over a decade experience and background in childcare and education, which has strengthened my patience, responsibility, attentiveness, and ability to follow individual routines and care instructions. I understand how important it is to care for someone’s loved one with the same attention and respect I would want for my own. Whether your dog needs a walk, playtime, companionship, some extra cuddles, or simply someone to keep them comfortable while you’re away, I genuinely enjoy being there for them. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and any specific instructions you provide because I know consistency can make all the difference. Most importantly, I know how much trust goes into leaving your pets with someone else. My goal is for you to feel confident knowing they are safe, loved, and getting plenty of attention while you’re away. I also understand how reassuring it can be to receive updates while you’re away, so I’m happy to keep you informed and let you know how your doggy is doing. Your pets may not be my own, but while they’re with me, they’ll be treated like family. 🐾❤️ * Experienced Dog Mom Who Treats Every Pet Like Family * Reliable, Loving Care From a Lifelong Animal Lover * Four Rescue Dogs * Years of Experience & Lots of Love * Because Your Pets Deserve to Feel Right at Home ❤️ My schedule is flexible, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to caring for your pets. I currently work part-time teaching dance and art to kids and I am also a student at FGCU. Outside of those commitments, my schedule is generally open and I’m able to accommodate a variety of daytime, afternoon, evening, and weekend needs. I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that fits both you and your pet! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’m happy to provide care in your home, where your pet can stay comfortable in their familiar environment, or host pets in my home for boarding and daycare. I have a fully fenced yard and a pet-friendly home with four dogs and four cats of my own. Because of this, pets staying in my home would need to be comfortable around other animals and able to safely coexist with them. I’m always happy to discuss your pet’s personality, needs, and routines beforehand to make sure my home is a good fit. For in-home visits, I’m happy to care for your pets in their own home and follow your instructions and normal routines. I do not offer overnight stays at a client’s home, but I’m happy to provide overnight boarding in my own home when your pet is a good fit for my household. I have built my life around caring for my rescue animals. Your pet will be cared for by someone who genuinely lives and loves the pet-parent life!! ❤️

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
