“Xintong walked my Lily 75 pound 12 year old dog for 11 days. She was always prompt and sent photos and updates every time. Lily missed her after I returned. I’ll definitely contact Xintong again. Thanks again for giving me peace of mind while away.”

About: I currently own a dog, a bird, a fish, and hamster. Ive grown around dogs and animals all my life. I understand body behavior and trust = patience. No dog is aggressive, its just scared. I got a 10 week old puppy last year, it now knows how to wait for its food until commanded, give paw, sit, laydown, and roll over. I love animals and have had experience my entire life! I work at a pizza hut with a pretty flexible schedule, I can always work around your schedule and im very flexible when it comes to having availability. I care for pets as if they were my own by following all instructions closely and prioritizing their safety and comfort. I make sure dogs get proper exercise, fresh water, and positive attention. I respect clients’ homes, keep doors and gates secure, and provide updates for peace of mind.
About: I started talking care of dogs about 5 years ago when I joined my partners boarding business. It's been a very uplifting experience and my quality of life has greatly improved since spending so much time with Doggos. I work from home as a Video Editor and Artist. It's around my schedule, so I can always pause my work to walk a Doggo. All doggos get spoiled at my home. They get at least 3 walks a day unless stated otherwise. They get all the pets a love they can handle.

I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide constant attention, reliable communication, and quality care throughout the day. I enjoy exploring local parks, trails and outdoor spaces and I love incorporating safe walks, enrichment and new adventures into my routine with pets.. Every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, so I begin by learning what makes each pet feel safe and happy. I prioritize trust, communication and consistency by meeting with families beforehand discussing routines and special instructions and creating a comfortable environment where pets feel secure while their owners are away
“Morgan did so well with my pup Archie! She was very communicative and let me know what was going on each day. Loved all of the little stories from the report cards. Would definitely hire her again!!”

About: I've had dogs since a child. My own dog passed years ago. Blackie was my best friend, running buddy, snuggle dog & the like. I love dogs. I love walking & am a retired teacher wanting to connect with man's best friend. Somewhat related, my 2nd favorite animal is the Manatee because one gave me a hug upright with its fins while swimming backwards with me for about 10 ft. in Crystal River National Wildlife Reserve. Maybe animals do know we care. I'm not sure if Manatees can read us that well, but that Manatee seem to and I believe your dog will also. See you soon! Retired, I have plenty of time to play, run or walk your dog. I don't generally work on weekends unless an emergency comes up and you want to text over a message. I have a fence on the canal and if needed I can watch the dog outside. I'm planning to run an AirBnb so for the sake of guests I'm keeping the home animal free. I prefer to get the dog & myself healthy but doing some miles in your area, or in mine if you drop them off. See you soon!!
“Megan was terrific with our two dogs. She was calm, conscientious and caring towards them. She is always punctual and communicates well. We look forward to using her services again in the future.”

“Angie was fantastic with our dog, Sandie. She was caring and kind and spent time making sure that Sandie was not feeling so sad and lonely. I highly recommend her as a dog walker.”
About: I have grown up with dogs all my life. They are not just pets, but they are family. I have known my dogs for as long as I have had them, but to them; I am all they know. I am their life. Dogs have a special place in my heart and should be cared and loved for. They should be able to have fun, play, and have treats. I have dogsat and walked dogs since I was a little girl, but have done it more consistently since I was 17. When I come back home from college, I go back to sitting and walking during the summers and winter breaks. I am not currently working since I am home for summer break from college. I still do some college work, but I do that on my laptop. It depends on what notes the client leaves for me. Some dogs can’t have whipped cream while others can. Some love car rides while others don’t. Some can play fetch while others can’t. So, it depends on what regulations and instructions the clients gives to me. But I will always play, cuddle, walk, and pet the dogs. If they are not allowed on the couch, I sit with them on the floor and play with them or give them belly rubs. I do my absolute best with each pet with each regulation and instructions the client leaves for me. I have no problems with older dogs as well, because I have had to take pets to the vet and give medication. I also have no problems either puppies. I don’t mind what needs each pet has, because each pet has individual needs. Thank you

Over the last several years, we’ve traveled too much to have a dog of our own full-time, which is what led us to fostering. We’ve fostered countless dogs over the years and have experience with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats and even reptiles since I was 9 years old. I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and had my own pitbull as an adult. I have cared for dogs in every stage of their life from puppy to senior with extra needs being met. I have helped care for a house of 7 cats while living with a roommate as well. I have done several pet sitting jobs not acquired using an online service and have stayed in their homes to do so. I am extremely confident that you will love having me as a sitter and rehire me! Let me love on your fur babies. I’m currently unemployed and working on my dental hygiene license so I have plenty of time to care for your pets. As of right now, any days or times will work perfect for me. I cannot bring pets into my home but I would be more than happy to care for them in the comfort of their home or simply make visits.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
