About: I have been around animals my whole life. No animal is too big or too small. I love them all. Throughout my life I have had fish, crabs, rats, mice, gerbil's cats, dogs, and birds and many more. Recently moved back to Florida and I am ready to help you care for your pets as if they were my own. After being retired from the military my schedule is quite open. When it comes to animals they are just as much as part of the family as you or I. I will love yours as if they are mine.
About: I've had dogs since a child. My own dog passed years ago. Blackie was my best friend, running buddy, snuggle dog & the like. I love dogs. I love walking & am a retired teacher wanting to connect with man's best friend. Somewhat related, my 2nd favorite animal is the Manatee because one gave me a hug upright with its fins while swimming backwards with me for about 10 ft. in Crystal River National Wildlife Reserve. Maybe animals do know we care. I'm not sure if Manatees can read us that well, but that Manatee seem to and I believe your dog will also. See you soon! Retired, I have plenty of time to play, run or walk your dog. I don't generally work on weekends unless an emergency comes up and you want to text over a message. I have a fence on the canal and if needed I can watch the dog outside. I'm planning to run an AirBnb so for the sake of guests I'm keeping the home animal free. I prefer to get the dog & myself healthy but doing some miles in your area, or in mine if you drop them off. See you soon!!

About: I’ve cared for dogs for many years and have become the go-to pet sitter for friends and family because they know their pets will be safe, loved, and well cared for with me. While living in California, I also ran my own dog-sitting service and built wonderful relationships with both pets and their owners. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and ages, including senior dogs. I’ve owned multiple dogs at once — up to four at a time — and currently have two of my own. Animal rescue is also very close to my heart, and I’ve spent years helping rescue dogs and caring for animals in need. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I treat every dog like family.🐾💖 My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to provide dependable care throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I work from home running my jewelry business, so I’m able to structure my schedule around the needs of the pets and families I work with. I’m available for daytime walks, check-ins, and flexible scheduling, and I do my best to accommodate different routines whenever possible. I currently provide care in my clients’ homes so pets can remain comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I understand that every pet has different needs, personalities, and energy levels, and I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, medication routines, or simply providing calm and loving attention, I care for every pet as if they were my own. I also make sure clients receive updates and photos so they can feel at ease while away from their pets.
“Tiffany has been great for drop-in visits during the workday for our two high energy dogs. She is trustworthy and shows up/ departs on time, leaves detailed visit notes, and our dogs really like her. Highly recommend!”

Whether it’s leash handling, feeding instructions, or giving medication, I’m careful, patient, and detail-oriented. I value transparency and will keep you updated with messages and photos during each visit or walk. You’ll always know how your pet is doing-because I know how much that peace of mind matters.
“Flexible, fun and loving — all accolades that accurately describe Kaylyn’s approach to dog walking and canine care. Will definitely ask her to walk our two pup-cakes again when our schedules call for it. (Dogs loved he too!)”
About: I have cared for several animals growing up. Dogs and cats were primarily overnights. I have experience with training dogs, everywhere from puppies to older dogs. I have trained dogs to do basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down, stop, roll over, paw, shake, and more. I enjoy playing fetch and living an active lifestyle which translates to how I care for animals. I believe they should have an active life as well. I would enjoy taking the dogs for long walks or having playtime at the beach. I can offer a light grooming service after so there isn’t sand carried through their fur. I can also provide some training for puppies if desired. I love all breeds and hope to have a dog of my own one day.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
