“I just picked up Izzy from a 6 day stay with Idalmis. I am new to Naples & it was difficult for us to leave our fur baby w/strangers…however Idalmis was very sweet & accommodating from the beginning. While we were away she sent me pictures almost every day along w/a couple sentences reassuring me that he was doing well. It was comforting knowing she worked from home…She has a big yard for him to play & I was happy to hear he was w/one other dog…or two- i was reluctant to send him to a home where there were 4-5 dogs…Izzy seemed his old self when I picked him up-he looked clean & happy… & exhausted. TY Idalmis… we will see you again I am sure. 🐾🐾”

“If there was a doggie sitter heaven, it would be at Jacqueline’s. I cant thank Jacque & husband enough for taking care of Buddy. I would honestly not ever want to Have anybody else take care of my dogs other than them. I can truly feel by the demeanor of Buddy when he comes home that while we were away, he was just at his 2nd home. Thank you so much!”
“Needed a last minute booking and Jeanette and her husband came through they were awesome always sending pictures and updates about by drama queen of a dog definitely going with them again”

“Sam took great care of Charly which made me feel confident leaving him there for 5 days. He kept me up to date daily about how Charly was doing, and sent me pictures as well.Sam has compassion for animals and puts a lot of effort to make Charly's stay a positive experience. I will definitely reach out to Sam again when I need help with Charly !”

“My pups had a great time with Pamela! They had a huge yard to play in and her home was set up perfectly to keep them safe and happy while I was away. Will absolutely use her again!”

“We booked Laura short notice, and she was awesome! It’s the first time we’d left our dog with someone that wasn’t a close friend, so we were really nervous about it, but it turned out great! She sent us lots of pictures and kept us updated daily, and most importantly loved and took care of our little Jelly Bean like she was her own. We will definitely use her again!”

“My little Shassi just loved being at Cathleen's and watching TV with her. Shassi is an anxious dog and Cathleen made her feel right at home. I could tell, from the pics Cathleen shared, that Shassi was content and had fun and was taken care of as well as I would do. Thank you Cathleen for being you! <3”

“Xan watched our 11 yr. old Maltese twice and we could not be luckier to have found her. She is definitely an animal lover and her pups are adorable and very well behaved. My little guy isn't the most social but he got along very well at Xan's apartment. I would highly recommend her and we will be asking her to watch Yeyo again.”
About: I have cared for several animals growing up. Dogs and cats were primarily overnights. I have experience with training dogs, everywhere from puppies to older dogs. I have trained dogs to do basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down, stop, roll over, paw, shake, and more. I enjoy playing fetch and living an active lifestyle which translates to how I care for animals. I believe they should have an active life as well. I would enjoy taking the dogs for long walks or having playtime at the beach. I can offer a light grooming service after so there isn’t sand carried through their fur. I can also provide some training for puppies if desired. I love all breeds and hope to have a dog of my own one day.
“Debra is the best! My goldens had a wonderful visit at her lovely home and enjoyed their time with her fun Boxer, Duke. I’m new to the area and it was comforting knowing that they were in such good care while I was away on a business trip. Highly recommend!”

“Erin is terrific. She is very responsive and kept us updated throughout our’s cat’s weeklong stay. Our cat had a great time with Erin and needed to be persuaded to return home with us!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bonita Springs
Tamara and her family did a wonderful job watching Ralph! Communication was great, and it was clear they genuinely cared about him. We also had an unexpected flight change, and they were incredibly accommodating with the logistics. We really appreciated their flexibility and will definitely have Ralph stay with them again!

Boarding was just as easy as daycare. My Charlotte LOVES Megan. There’s lots of excitement when she shows up, but she’s patient and kind and waits out the wiggles so Charlotte can be successful with her greetings. Megan is always on time and treats my dog like the queen she is. Will do business with Megan again for sure. You can’t go wrong with this lovely lady. I highly recommend her.

Teresa took great care of Memphis while we were gone for the weekend. She made sure to provide plenty of updates on their walks throughout the day. It was also great that he had other dogs to play with. He is definitely exhausted in the best way possible! Thank you, Teresa!

Morgan was amazing with our 15-year-old Morkie, Bellina! She was communicative, flexible, and so accommodating — which made everything easy and stress-free. Bellina has some unique senior needs (including meds), and Morgan handled it all with so much love and patience. We felt completely at ease knowing she was in such good hands. Highly recommend her — she truly cares ❤️🐾

Preston was absolutely wonderful with Iggy. We felt so genuinely at ease the entire time knowing he was in such great hands. Iggy can be particular and we had a few odd requests and timeline changes, and Preston handled everything with so much patience and flexibility. It never felt like we were inconveniencing him, which meant a lot. He was communicative, kind, and clearly cared about making sure Iggy was comfortable and happy. We’re so grateful and would absolutely book with him again.

Helga and Katherine were an amazing team! Strongly recommend you book them for your furry pet. The booking process and meet and great were all easy to set up. My dog can be a little quirky and they completely rolled with it. I could tell by the videos and photos that she felt completely at home. Thank you for a great visit.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
