“Lea did an amazing job dropping in at our apartment to tend to our cat, Michienzo. She was incredibly accommodating, and followed specific instructions perfectly. Will definitely book with Lea again!”

About: I currently own a dog, a bird, a fish, and hamster. Ive grown around dogs and animals all my life. I understand body behavior and trust = patience. No dog is aggressive, its just scared. I got a 10 week old puppy last year, it now knows how to wait for its food until commanded, give paw, sit, laydown, and roll over. I love animals and have had experience my entire life! I work at a pizza hut with a pretty flexible schedule, I can always work around your schedule and im very flexible when it comes to having availability. I care for pets as if they were my own by following all instructions closely and prioritizing their safety and comfort. I make sure dogs get proper exercise, fresh water, and positive attention. I respect clients’ homes, keep doors and gates secure, and provide updates for peace of mind.
“As a repeat customer, I can confidently say Xintong is wonderful. She always makes me feel at ease and takes excellent care of my cat. Great communication and very dependable. I will definitely be booking again.”

“If my dogs could write this review, it would be all tail wags and 5 stars!! We feel so lucky to have found Beth! She is dependable, on time, and wonderful. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing my boys are with someone I trust and who cares about them! If there’s a 6 star I could give her, I would.”

About: I am a reliable, experienced pet sitter with 6+ years of caring for puppies, seniors, and high-energy dogs. Comfortable with medications, exercise, bathing, and personalized, loving care. Pet care is part of my everyday life. I have my own dog and cat, so I’m used to daily walks, feeding, playtime, and giving pets the attention they deserve. I primarily provide care in my client’s home, where I follow their pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. I stick to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and plenty of attention. I don’t typically offer boarding, but I may consider it for recurring clients on a case-by-case basis.
“Megan is awesome!! I needed someone last minute and she quickly responded and was happy to help! She stayed with my pup while he ate as he doesn’t like to eat alone and walked him again to be sure he went to the bathroom. Highly recommend!”

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life. They are not just pets, but they are family. I have known my dogs for as long as I have had them, but to them; I am all they know. I am their life. Dogs have a special place in my heart and should be cared and loved for. They should be able to have fun, play, and have treats. I have dogsat and walked dogs since I was a little girl, but have done it more consistently since I was 17. When I come back home from college, I go back to sitting and walking during the summers and winter breaks. I am not currently working since I am home for summer break from college. I still do some college work, but I do that on my laptop. It depends on what notes the client leaves for me. Some dogs can’t have whipped cream while others can. Some love car rides while others don’t. Some can play fetch while others can’t. So, it depends on what regulations and instructions the clients gives to me. But I will always play, cuddle, walk, and pet the dogs. If they are not allowed on the couch, I sit with them on the floor and play with them or give them belly rubs. I do my absolute best with each pet with each regulation and instructions the client leaves for me. I have no problems with older dogs as well, because I have had to take pets to the vet and give medication. I also have no problems either puppies. I don’t mind what needs each pet has, because each pet has individual needs. Thank you

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since I was a very young child, and being around animals has always been a big part of my life. I'm happy to tailor my visits, routines, and availability to what works best for you and your pets. Safety is always my top priority—whether I’m caring for your pets at home or taking them out for walks. In your home, I make sure to follow all instructions closely, maintain a clean and pet-safe environment, and keep an eye out for anything that could pose a risk to your pets. I’m attentive to things like gates, doors, food storage, and potential hazards, ensuring your pet stays comfortable and secure. On walks, I always use properly fitted leashes or harnesses, stay alert to our surroundings, and avoid unsafe areas or situations. I match the pace and distance to your pet’s comfort level and keep them close and under control at all times. I never let pets off-leash unless instructed and in a fully secure area. Your pet's well-being comes first—always.
About: I started talking care of dogs about 5 years ago when I joined my partners boarding business. It's been a very uplifting experience and my quality of life has greatly improved since spending so much time with Doggos. I work from home as a Video Editor and Artist. It's around my schedule, so I can always pause my work to walk a Doggo. All doggos get spoiled at my home. They get at least 3 walks a day unless stated otherwise. They get all the pets a love they can handle.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bonita Springs
Erin was fantastic. Very respectful of property and little Tara. She provided feedback at every visit. As this was my first time using Rover I didn't know what to expect. Using the app is easy. Many sitters to choose from. I can honestly say I'd pick Erin again if she is available.

Thanks Hailey for caring for our cat while we were overseas! This was our first time using Rover. The site was easy and when we selected Hailey, she was very communicative right away. She came to our place to meet us and our cat so we could all be comfortable with each other (as well as view our instructions together). Everything went smoothly from the first visit on and we get appropriate updates on our cat and anything we needed to know about while we were traveling. We definitely will use Hailey again when we have a need and we highly recommend her for your pet needs.

First time I ever use rover.com. I just adopted two new kitties and trusted them to Morgan. I picked her because I like that she had a lot of repeat customers and I’m so glad I did. I didn’t have to worry about anything. She took care of everything and she sent me pictures and my kitties loved her definitely recommend her and will use her again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sabrina was an incredible sitter for my cat, Monkey! She watched with her for several days and truly went above and beyond to make sure she was happy, comfortable, and well-cared for. Monkey can be a little aloof at first, but she warmed up to Sabrina right away — which says everything! I could tell she was getting tons of love, playtime, and attention. I received daily updates and photos, which kept me completely at ease while I was away. Every message showed how attentive and thoughtful Sabrina was — from making sure Monkey got her favorite toys and cozy spots, to spending real quality time with her. It felt like Monkey had her own vacation while I was on mine! 😹 Sabrina is friendly, responsible, communicative, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. I felt 100% confident and relaxed knowing she was watching over Monkey. I couldn’t ask for a better sitter and will absolutely be booking her again. If you’re looking for someone who treats your pet like their own, Sabrina is the one. Highly recommend! 🐾♥️

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
