About: I’ve taken great care of animals my whole life from as small as hamsters to as big as horses! I love dog sitting for friends and family! I’m a full time server/bartender, however on the days I have off I love to stay busy so with my free time I would love to hang out with some furry friends:) I have a safe neighborhood to walk your furry friends as well as I love going to the dog parks and I have a ton of friends with dogs who would love to meet new friends.
“Gulcin is great! She took such great care of our cat, Eddie. She takes direction very well and is excellent about handling everything you ask her to do. She’s got a great attitude and so easy to work with. Always shows up with a smile. Thank you, Gulcin!”

“Elizabeth B provided the finest drop in and walking services with our two dogs. She is punctual, listens carefully, providing effective plus timely communication about our dogs which included time stamp photos and creative videos of their behaviors. Elizabeth has a real talent in working with dogs. Our dogs Millie (golden doodle) and Oreo (border collie)can both be challenging to for different reasons yet the dogs seemed to instantly like and trust her. She spent two days exercising and taking care of our dogs giving us the opportunity to spend time in Naples with our family. We will always use Elizabeth B's sitting, walking, plus other services whenever we are visiting Sanibel Island.”

About: Hi, I’m Angel! a veteran, full-time student, and father with a genuine love for all animals! I offer and drop-in visits/walks, so whether your pet needs a relaxing walk or just a midday check-in, I’ve got you covered. I’ve been around animals my whole life, from dogs, cats, and kittens to turtles and bearded dragons. I’ve owned three dogs over the years and regularly handle medication for my own bulldog, Boulder, so I’m comfortable with hands-on care. I’m only in class two days a week, so I keep a flexible schedule, this way I have plenty of time to give your loved one real attention rather than a rushed visit. In my own home, pets have the run of the place, couch included, I’m only in class two days a week, from 8 AM to 1 PM, so outside of those hours I’m pretty much wide open. As a student with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to give pets real attention rather than a rushed visit! For house sitting or drop-in visits, I will accurately stick to any instructions given, following feeding times, walk schedules, and any specific instructions to keep things familiar and low-stress. Pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and a calm, safe environment throughout our time together. Safety always comes first: I keep a close eye on pets at all times and treat every pet like my own. I’m also always happy to schedule a meet and greet before booking, so you and your fur baby can feel comfortable with me.
“Lyndsay was a godsend! She is exactly the animal-loving professional that we were seeking. She went above and beyond while taking care of our cat and dog, including grabbing mail, packages, and newspaper deliveries. She is warm, friendly, and nurturing to our animals. She was prompt and gave our pets the human touch they needed with us away. We received a daily update and photos and videos of our animals on every visit and I know they felt comfortable with her. Lyndsay is a strong communicator, asking clarification questions and thinking of every detail. I give Lyndsay my highest recommendation and she will be my first phone call the next time we need pet-sitting!”

Reliable, trustworthy and caring. It was clear our baby girl was in great hands. We appreciated the daily communication, photos, and videos. It gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Kota is usually very shy around new people, Elizabeth took her time and let Kota warm up to her on Kota’s terms. We will definitely be booking again! ❤️ Heidi, Bob & Kota

We are so grateful to Elizabeth for checking in on our chocolate lab , Marner! She was incredibly punctual, arriving right when she said she would, which gave us great peace of mind. The best part was her wonderful communication- she sent multiple videos and pics throughout her visit showing us Marner playing and getting plenty of pets. it was clear he was receiving tons of love and attention. We returned home to a very happy and relaxed pup. We will absolutely be booking Elizabeth again and cannot recommend her highly enough! Thank you for Everything!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
