“Beth is amazing, our communication was great, she perfectly follow all my requests. Very professional! She made me feel safe and secure!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED HER… ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ a huge thanks from me, kyra and Minnie Pearl?”

“Elizabeth B provided the finest drop in and walking services with our two dogs. She is punctual, listens carefully, providing effective plus timely communication about our dogs which included time stamp photos and creative videos of their behaviors. Elizabeth has a real talent in working with dogs. Our dogs Millie (golden doodle) and Oreo (border collie)can both be challenging to for different reasons yet the dogs seemed to instantly like and trust her. She spent two days exercising and taking care of our dogs giving us the opportunity to spend time in Naples with our family. We will always use Elizabeth B's sitting, walking, plus other services whenever we are visiting Sanibel Island.”

“Meredith is a dream come true pet sitter! She crossed the causeway for us and was even a few minutes early! She is by far the best pet sitter we’re ever had. Our dog is a spirited, old chiweenie and is petrified of us leaving her so she’s very difficult. Meredith has so much empathy and compassion that our dog warmed up to her quickly. Meredith took the time to cut up treats and hide them in Punky’s treat mat. She sat with punky and comforted her when we left. Punky is very happy and content. It is as if we never left her!!! We are amazed at the quality of Meredith’s character and the care she gave our dog. She sent pics and kept us posted. She is a true dog’s best friend and now ours! Thank you, Meredith. We are able to do things knowing punky will be greatly loved.”

“OMG There are not enough Great words out to describe how incredibly awesome Barry is. My 12 year old boxer Dakota has over the last 6 months has developed a brain tumor and now has seizures. Over the last 2 weeks the seizures had gotten pretty bad and the vet and I were trying to get his meds corrected but during this time I won’t leave him alone for his safety, especially because this time he was loosing his vision afterwards for a few hours. So when I had to go to the airport to pick up my father and my friend that normally helps me out was unable to this time I only had 2 days to to find someone who I could trust with my baby in 2 days. After looking at about 50 or so different profiles on Rover and other sites I found BARRY. I soon as I read Barry’s profile I knew he would be perfect and as soon as he walked in the front of the front door Dakota walked up to him and gave him a kiss and wagged his little stump!! Let me tell you I cried, because with how sick he had been that was one of the first signs that MY DAKOTA was coming back and from that moment on I will forever have Barry as my Dog whisperer for any and all dogs I have. Thank you Barry you truly are the best!!!!!”

About: I have taken care of/walked dogs since I was 7. I’ve grown up with dogs and have never lived without one in my home. Many neighbors and friends trust me with their pets to either walk or care for them from either a day at a time or weeks. During the week I have sports and school but weekends are reserved to make sure the care of your pet(s) is received properly and carefully I am more than happy to play with any pet to ensure he/she is happy and healthy while I care for them. If you have special requests, I can make it a priority to fulfill them.
About: I have owned dogs most my life and even owned a variety of other animals like fish, bunnies, and guinea pigs. I also currently have 2 dogs of my own and have also done dog training with dogs I've owned in the past. Im friendly with a great work ethic and even have some training and knowledge with a variety of household pets. I am able to care for others fur babies while my 3 children are in school from the hours of 8-2. I can also be pretty flexible. About: Hi! My name is Paige, and I’m 24 years old. I’m currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in forensic studies with the goal of becoming a crime scene investigator. 🕵️ I currently work two jobs and now a third to look for a little extra income to save for my new home. My love for animals began when I was a child and has only grown over the years. I’ve cared for all kinds of pets, including dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies, and even lizards! Because of that, I understand that every pet has their own unique personality and needs. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have experience providing overnight dog-sitting services for families through other pet-care apps. This has allowed me to work with a variety of breeds, temperaments, and routines while giving pet parents peace of mind when they’re away from home. I also have two furry companions of my own—a Mini Dapple Dachshund named Bennett and a sweet cat named Ruby. 🥰 They mean the world to me, and I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, companionship, or overnight care, I would love the opportunity to provide them with the same love, attention, and care that I give my own! 🐾❤️ I work part time and I’m in college. I can find time between classes and work to take care of your pet. I can also stay additional nights or days as well. I can assure you that your pet will be loved and taken care of! I can provide dog toys if given permission and I will always make sure your pet is happy.
“Gulcin is great! She took such great care of our cat, Eddie. She takes direction very well and is excellent about handling everything you ask her to do. She’s got a great attitude and so easy to work with. Always shows up with a smile. Thank you, Gulcin!”

About: Hi there! I’m 27 years old and have spent the last 12 years caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I also have two dogs of my own, so I fully understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets. I treat every animal with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I’m experienced with: Daily walks and exercise routines In‑home sitting and overnight stays Drop‑ins for feeding, playtime, and check‑ins Puppies, seniors, and pets with special instructions Administering basic medications and following detailed care plans Whether your pet needs a long walk, a cozy overnight stay, or just a quick check‑in, my goal is to give you total peace of mind and give your pet a safe, fun, and comfortable experience every time. I work full‑time, but I make plenty of room in my schedule for pet care. I’m available every morning before 8am, mid‑day during my lunch break, and in the evenings and nights. I’m also available 7 days a week, so whether you need early walks, drop‑ins, or evening/overnight care, I can reliably fit your pet into my routine. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as familiar and comfortable as possible. I follow all of their normal schedules, including feeding times, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and bedtime habits, so everything feels consistent for them. I treat your home with respect by keeping things clean, washing bowls, tidying up after pets, and following any house rules you set. I give each pet plenty of attention based on their personality—whether that means playtime, cuddles, or calm companionship—and I’m comfortable handling special instructions like medications, senior care, puppy routines, or specific behavioral needs. I also send regular updates, photos, and quick check‑ins so you always know how your pet is doing. For overnight stays, I maintain their nighttime routine and make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for the entire time.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I currently have a Maine Coon cat and have lived with and cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, and making sure pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, and I take the time to build trust with each one. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and will always treat your pets like they’re my own. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or just wants someone to keep them company, I’m committed to providing attentive and compassionate care. I work full-time during the week, so I’m available for evening visits and drop-ins after 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. On weekends, I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits. I’ll always communicate promptly and do my best to work around your pet’s routine to provide consistent, reliable care. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I know that cats thrive on routine, so I’ll follow your care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, litter box maintenance, playtime, medication (if needed), and any special preferences. About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life. I am a dog mom to an adorable Aussie! I’ve raised and trained two puppies (my own dog and a golden retriever puppy). I absolutely love puppies and providing them with a routine. You can rest assured your pup will be in a good home! I don’t have experience with senior dogs or dogs with special needs so please keep this in mind! I make pets priority. I will take your dog for a long walk in the neighborhood. We can play in the backyard as well. If you prefer, I can take them to the beach as well! Just say the word! I live on Sanibel Island. I am happy to walk your dog in the neighborhood, play in the yard or pool, or even go for a beach walk! Your dog will get plenty of exercise and potty breaks!
About: I have two large-breed dogs, one is a three year old Cane Corso mix and our other girl is almost ten (a Lab mix)! Both are rescues from the south, so I have a lot of experience working with anxious dogs, puppies, and some senior care. I grew up with large black labs, so I've had dogs in my life, for my entire life! I run my own business and work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule. I can also take your dog for a longer hike, snifaris, and more! I do not host other dogs in my own home, but I would be sure to have a consultation with the client ahead of any pet sitting to go over routines, expectations, feeding schedule, etc. It's not fair to expect a dog to adjust to your schedule when you are the newbie in their life!

Reliable, trustworthy and caring. It was clear our baby girl was in great hands. We appreciated the daily communication, photos, and videos. It gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Kota is usually very shy around new people, Elizabeth took her time and let Kota warm up to her on Kota’s terms. We will definitely be booking again! ❤️ Heidi, Bob & Kota

We are so grateful to Elizabeth for checking in on our chocolate lab , Marner! She was incredibly punctual, arriving right when she said she would, which gave us great peace of mind. The best part was her wonderful communication- she sent multiple videos and pics throughout her visit showing us Marner playing and getting plenty of pets. it was clear he was receiving tons of love and attention. We returned home to a very happy and relaxed pup. We will absolutely be booking Elizabeth again and cannot recommend her highly enough! Thank you for Everything!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
