“Meredith is a dream come true pet sitter! She crossed the causeway for us and was even a few minutes early! She is by far the best pet sitter we’re ever had. Our dog is a spirited, old chiweenie and is petrified of us leaving her so she’s very difficult. Meredith has so much empathy and compassion that our dog warmed up to her quickly. Meredith took the time to cut up treats and hide them in Punky’s treat mat. She sat with punky and comforted her when we left. Punky is very happy and content. It is as if we never left her!!! About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life. I am a dog mom to an adorable Aussie! I’ve raised and trained two puppies (my own dog and a golden retriever puppy). I absolutely love puppies and providing them with a routine. You can rest assured your pup will be in a good home! I don’t have experience with senior dogs or dogs with special needs so please keep this in mind! I make pets priority. I will take your dog for a long walk in the neighborhood. We can play in the backyard as well. If you prefer, I can take them to the beach as well! Just say the word! I live on Sanibel Island. I am happy to walk your dog in the neighborhood, play in the yard or pool, or even go for a beach walk! Your dog will get plenty of exercise and potty breaks!

I recently completed my masters degree at NYU with a thesis focusing on dog socialization. I've had pets since the day I was born - cats, dogs, fish, chickens, horses - you name it. I started before double digits caring for the neighbors pets when their owners were away on trips and still do to this day. I love all creatures that the world has given us, whether a lost neighborhood stray or the turtle on the side of the road (Yes, I am that person to stop and help it to the other side). Now taking my in-person pet sitting service digitally, I have learned to love and take care of pets in all aspects — from keeping them healthy and being by their side when sick or recovering.
