“She was great. It was a short notice as our other option feel through and by the looks of it Kylo had a blast… thank you so much…. We will definitely be using her again.”

“This was my first time using Rover, I am so happy for choosing Marcia for taking great care of my Zoe which is very shy and a little nervous around other dogs and some people. Thank you so much Marcia 🤗🤗🤗”

“Great experience with Karen! Our dogs were very well cared for and clearly had a great time. We felt completely comfortable knowing they were in good hands, and they came home happy and relaxed. I would absolutely use Karen again and recommend her to other pet parents.”

“Marley was very well taken care of. I didnt worry about him at all. They sent pics and video. They took him for walks. We will use again for sure. Very very nice people!”

“Xena had a great time. This was her first time away from home with strangers. There was plenty for her to do and lots of company. We dropped her off happy and picked her up happy.”

“We boarded both of our dogs with Olga and she is amazing. She sent us daily pictures to show us how well Isabelle and Reggie were doing. When we picked them up they came home ready to sleep because they were so tuckered out from the fun that they had. We will definitely board our pups with Olga again and have already recommended her to other people.”

“My dogs had the best time on their vacation with Fabiana! She sent soo many pictures and communicated throughout their time away. I'm sure they will miss all the fun they had!”

“They sent so many videos and photos, which helped a lot considering how much I missed my sweet puppy, Virginia. Their dog, Max, quickly became Virginia’s best bud, and their entire family was so welcoming. Virginia was immediately comfortable and so loved the entire time. The home was clean and the backyard was spacious and fenced in. She had tons of play time and more than enough attention. This is where I’d board my dog if I had to again.”

“Nova had such a good time!! She was welcomed like one of their own and I got lots of pictures. Thank you so much Thomas and Lyndsay ❤️❤️ recommend them 100%!!”

“Ashlee is the sweetest and most thoughtful person. She really loves your pet. She went out of her way to try to get my dog to eat when he refused to. She even took my pet to the vets when we decided he needed to be checked. She cooked a chicken in the crock pot just for him. I know she was trying to do everything possible. I would not hesitate to have her watch Eddie again.”

“Claudia is amazing! She always sends pictures and updates. This is the second time Thor has stayed with her and her family, and we couldn’t be more happy and comforted to leave him with them. Thor is very picky when it comes to eating and she was very accommodating with this, we highly recommend! 😊”

“We have a very soft-tempered three (3) year old female German Shepard who has never seen a boarding facility. We have used Rover on 2 other occasions with her, so needless to say, we are "picky and fussy" about who we entrust to care for our dog. We found Natasha and Gaspare on Rover and began a discussion. After a meet and greet, we knew that Timber would be well-cared for. Natasha's communication skills are above-par. She is prompt and very responsive. While we were away, she returned all text messages and sent us updates on Timber's day, with photos included. Natasha and Gaspare have very calm demeanors. They do not get easily excited and that calmness is a great character trait in a Rover sitter! When we picked Timber up, we were supposed to pick her up the morning of December 26th; however, we flew in to Ft. Myers on Christmas Day. We really wanted to get our baby back and while realizing it was Christmas, I thought I would ask if it was at all possible to retrieve Timber early, on Christmas Day evening. She replied immediately that this was no problem at all, and when we picked up the dog, she had Timber's belongings all packed up and ready to go. We went into their home, the dog looked at us, wagged her tail, and then proceeded to run up the stairs to the second level with one of their children. I wasn't expecting that response! That reaction alone told me that the care she had received was outstanding...the dog had had a BLAST!!! As if picking up a dog on Christmas Day wasn't a burden enough, Natasha sent us home with a care package...some treats for Timber, a Christmas ornament with her name and paw print inscribed, and a report card. It seems as though Timber had become what we used to refer to as "the Teacher's Pet"! If Natasha is available to take Timber in the future, I will not even bother to contact anyone else. She has my business secured. A+++. Dave Berry”

“Carla is awesome with Sky and keeps us updated on how things are going!! Sky was in great hands to help her through her anxiety of fireworks and thunderstorms while my husband and I were out of town giving us peace of mind. Thank you Carla, we appreciate you!”

“Amazing! I think Smokey didn't want to come home with me, LOL. Vetra is such a blessing for our disabled cat who hasn't been boarded before. During the meet & greet, Smokey was comfortable with Vetra & her place right away. I knew that the medical background of Vetra would come in handy: the compassion, expertise in handling medication, caring personality, pleasant personality, excellent communication skills. She's an asset to Rover. Will definitely work with her again & recommend to friends.”

“We had such a wonderful experience with Erika! She looked after our puppy for five days, showering her with love, keeping her schedule and constantly playing and entertaining her. She created the perfect home environment for her to feel comfortable. Erika kept us in the loop with regular updates and photos of our puppy. We’re definitely going to use her services again! We encourage everyone to hire her as a pet sitter, she is wonderful.”

“Teresa did a great job with my fur baby, I felt very relaxed leaving him with her (first time he stayed with a stranger). She sent me photos to show how relaxed and well cared for my baby was. Her place is great, clearly dog friendly and she has a good system for managing and controlling various dogs at one time. I would use her services again.”

“I'm so glad we found Krista to care for our dog while we were out of town, she took great care of him! My dog usually takes some time to trust people but he warmed up to Krista right away, it was obvious to me too how much she loves and knows about dogs. Her communication was wonderful and she provided me with an update and photos each day, which I really appreciated. She has a very lovely and clean home with a nice fenced yard. I highly recommend Krista to take care of your”

“Emily and Aaron were such great dog sitters, even over Christmas holiday! They sent pictures of my pet every day..he looked so happy! I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks again!!”

“Lori is so wonderful. She sends pictures of my fur baby throughout the entire stay. Her communication is always great. I feel very safe when my baby is with her. I will definitely continue to allow Lori to take care of Harley.”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
