“Ashlee took wonderful care of our French Bulldog. She is very kind and fast in response time. She sent pictures and updates putting my mind at ease, as this was our first time using River or leaving our fur baby with someone outside of family. Excellent experience, I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Ashlee! ?❤️”

“Beata did a great job accommodating for my dogs. There were some scheduling issues that she went the extra mile to fix which was really appreciated. The dogs loved her and I would definitely use her again!”

“Danayrys was an amazing dog sitter! My dog stayed at her home for a few days, and I couldn’t have asked for better care. She sent me daily pictures and kept me updated the entire time, which gave me so much peace of mind. She also had to give him oral medication and did a great job with it, which really showed her patience and responsibility. It was clear that my dog was comfortable, well cared for, and treated with so much love.”

“Teresa & her husband are wonderful. This is the first time using Rover. We have found a gem. Sally was so well taken care of & daily pics with messages. Thank you for giving us peace of mind for our fur baby!!”

“Skye had so much fun and so much love staying with Thomas and Lyndsay! They are great caregivers!! My mind was so at ease knowing she was so well taken care of while we were far away. I highly recommend them.”

“Fabiana is amazing. She accommodated me last minute, has a lovely, tidy home, and sent me updates throughout the day. Lucy was very happy here, will be booking with her again.”

“Samantha and her family were just terrific with my dog Ripple. I could tell he was well cared for and loved. I would highly recommend Samantha to anyone who is looking for an excellent doggie sitter.”

About: We’ve cared for many dogs over our lifespan- combined of 36 years. From small to big, high energy to very little, our house is the perfect fit. We’ve crate trained and potty trained all our dogs and no longer use a crate for any purpose however still have one available. We go on several walks a dog around our neighborhood and have a spacious lanai patio and fenced in backyard with a pool. With part time hours and someone always typically being home, the only time we are out are for sports Saturday mornings for a max of 2 hours. Pets are always welcome to join us if appropriate as we are always at a pet friendly park and our pup loves to join. Morning and afternoon walks are a must as we are an active family and spend our days outside anyway. We have a fenced yard and a lanai in our backyard. We have gates for indoor if needed as well as a crate. Water bowls are available all over the house!
“Second time we used this sitter. It is so comforting to know you have such a wonderful sitter when you have to travel. Yanjing makes any worries you have fade away with her frequent photos, videos, and texts. She is, by far, one of the most dedicated sitters we have encountered and our 2 dogs adore being with her. One of Rover's BEST.”

“Karen was amazing with Charlie. We couldn’t have asked for a better environment for him! We got many pic and video updates while we were gone over a 4 day span. Charlie has a new home away from home!”

“Erika (and her daughter!) were absolutely wonderful with our puppy, Covey. She sent plenty of photos and updates throughout his stay, and it was so clear that they both genuinely enjoyed spending time with him. They treated him like family — playful, loving, and attentive to all his little quirks. It gave us total peace of mind knowing he was in such caring hands. We’d trust Erika and her daughter with Covey anytime and can’t recommend them enough! 💛🐶”

“Second time using Alain and he still did an amazing job. Our girl was happy to go and really enjoyed playing Max and Alain’s son in their big backyard. Thank you again for your great service!”

“We couldn’t have asked for better care for our two small dogs than what Randal and Karen provided. From start to finish, they treated our pups like family, giving them all the love and attention they’re used to at home. We truly appreciated the constant updates and adorable photos—they made it so much easier to be away, knowing our dogs were in such great hands. It was clear they weren’t just being watched; they were being loved. We’ll absolutely be booking with Randal and Karen again!!”

“Vetra was so good with my dog. She stayed over July 4 and there are a bunch of fireworks which my dog hates and Vetra did her best to comfort Lily. We’ll definitely be using Vetra again.”

“Darlene was very welcoming from the start. She is experienced with dogs and is a real dog lover. My Nene seemed very happy when I picked him up. I would highly recommend Darlene and will definitely use again in the future.”

“Paul is an amazing caretaker. Our dog, Albi, immediately felt at home with Paul and we received daily pictures and updates while we were away. I thought we were on vacation, but Albi probably had a better time! Paul’s home is the perfect refuge for a dog who prefers a calm environment and Albi also got long walks daily! 10/10 stars!”

“XIAO IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST. She is super kind and flexible. My dog (Ollie) is very particular and a bit high maintenance, but Xiao knew exactly knew what to do since she has her own dogs and taken care of dog all her life. Xiao has 3 dogs of her own, you can tell that she treats them well and will treat your dog like her own. Something came up during my trip and I had to reschedule my pickup time, and Xiao was more than accommodating. Highly recommended especially for worry wort mothers like me haha Thank you again 11/10 would recommend!”

“I had such a great experience! My sitter took amazing care of my dog and made the whole process completely stress-free. I got updates every single day—photos, videos, and little notes on how the day went—which made me feel so comfortable while I was away. My pup looked so happy and relaxed in every update. I could really tell they treated her like their own. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be booking again!”

Ashlee has a great place for pups with a big fenced backyard. She genuinely loves dogs and our Teddy seemed to enjoy all the playtime and socializing with other pups. It means a lot that he seemed happy when I picked him up. I will definitely send my baby to Ashlee again!

Eric was amazing! He opened up his home to Oscar and he immediately became part of his family. Eric was very attentive, always gave updates and photos to ensure that we knew our pup was in great hands. Oscar had a lot of fun and, looked like, so did Eric and his pup :). Will definitely use him in the future.

Drew was amazing with Sloane! He has such a great sense of humor — he even told us she was out in the backyard doing her little “zoomies” because she was so happy. That cracked us up and honestly told me everything I needed to know about how much she liked him. He treated her like family, even letting her sleep with him, which made her feel right at home. We came back to a relaxed, happy girl. Highly recommend Drew — Sloane will definitely be visiting him again!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
