I will recommend her to everyone I know with pets and hope to use her again in the future!! Thank you so much for loving on our babies!! 🩷”

“Beata was absolutely wonderful! She was very attentive and provided the best updates along with plenty of pictures and always took the time to play with the girls on all visits. I would absolutely recommend her and will 100% use her again.”

About: I love all animals! But especially dogs! I used to foster and rescue when I lived in Las Vegas, otherwise i’ve had dogs and watched dogs for 30 years, they are my absolute favorite! I specialize with senior dogs, puppies, high energy, whatever it may be!! All animals should be living their best life and be in the best home! They deserve all the love!! I take a lot of pics and videos when I watch them! :) A lot of walks, sniffs, cuddles, toys, bones, and lots of couches and chairs and beds!! I also do home and pet watch in Miromar Lakes and Stoneybrook in Estero. Would love to watch your family member if you are away, you can’t enjoy your vacation unless you know your pet is in good hands!! I’m at home right now all the time studying and doing side jobs so whenever works! I’m available 24/7 days a week right now. I live in a dog friendly neighborhood in Stoneybrook in Estero, screened in lanai, lots of couches and chairs and dog beds all around! Big box of dog toys and bones to chew :)
“Lea provided outstanding care and communication to our two small dogs in our home when we went on an overseas trip. She was very flexible as we figured out our travel plans, responded quickly to my questions and took great pictures of our very happy pets which she included in her daily summaries. We truly look forward to working with her again. Highly recommended.”

About: I’ve grown up around pets and have plenty of hands on experience caring for them. My family has 3 dogs and a couple of cats, and I’ve also dog sat and cat sat for other families. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, and giving pets lots of love and attention while their owners are away. My schedule is very flexible, as most of my classes are online and I only work a part time job. This allows me to easily fit pet care into my routine. I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they are with me. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, so I make sure to follow their routines, pay close attention to their needs, and provide a calm and loving environment. My goal is for both pets and their owners to feel happy and comfortable while they are in my care.
About: I am a responsible and dependable college student who genuinely enjoys caring for animals. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you're away. I am attentive to feeding schedules, exercise needs, medications, and any special instructions provided by owners. I also believe in keeping pet parents updated with regular messages and photos so they can have peace of mind while their pets are in my care. In my own personal experience I have worked with pets ever since I was 13 and have loved animals my whole life. I have watched multiple animals at one time, administered medication, provided walks, provided cuddles/play times, and provided over night stays for the past few years. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply having a calm companion around, I will provide patient and loving care tailored to their needs. My goal is to treat every pet as if they were my own and ensure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and care. I am currently a full time student at FGCU. However I only have closes on Tuesday and Thursdays. I am available any time when I don’t have class. I work part time at a babysitting company, however I make my own schedule and therefore am very flexible! Safety and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. In a client's home, I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medication routines, exercise needs, and any household rules. I make sure pets have fresh water, a clean environment, and plenty of attention and companionship while their owners are away. I understand that pets are often most comfortable in their familiar surroundings, so I work to maintain their normal routine and minimize stress. I also pay close attention to any changes in behavior or health and will communicate promptly with owners if I have any concerns. I treat every home and pet with respect, keeping living areas clean, securing doors and gates, and ensuring pets remain safe at all times. I provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are happy, comfortable, and well cared for.
“We feel very fortunate to have found Sandy. She is very easy to communicate with. She took great care of our cat, taking the time to play with her and send pictures. Thank you, Sandy!”

“Maria went above and beyond. It is always hard to have someone you don’t know care for your fur baby but meeting her put me at ease. She took great care of Jackson. She even rinsed his bowl. I couldn’t be happier. I will definitely look to book her again if needed.”
About: What sets me apart is how quickly I build trust and comfort with animals. I take the time to understand each dog’s individual needs — whether that’s burning energy with structured play, working on positive-reinforcement training, or providing calm, steady care for older pups. I focus on creating a stress-free experience for both pets and owners with dependable communication and thoughtful updates. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because it has always been a big part of my life. I’m retired from CCPS, and I’ve had dogs of all kinds for as long as I can remember. I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking since my early 20s, and now that I’m retired, I finally get to enjoy doing it full-time. My days are flexible, and caring for pets is something I truly love — not something I squeeze in. I tailor my care to what each client and pet needs. I can do drop-in visits at your home for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins. If you prefer boarding, I can welcome your pet into my home where they’ll have a safe, relaxed space and plenty of attention. My goal is to provide whatever style of care works best for your pet’s routine and comfort.
“Amazing service! Kasandra communicated every day and sent pictures. She was so accommodating when I had to make a change to the booking. Overall very good experience and would hire her again.”

About: I’ve helped take care of my dogs since I was a child. I helped feed them, walk them, play with them.. I had a miniature pincher and a doberman pincher.. sadly, they aren’t with me anymore. I never had much experience with anyone else’s dogs except for 4. I am good at listening and listening to instructions. I have a strong and loving passion for dogs and many pets. I am willing to gain a lot more experience and I am hoping to gain a relationship with other dogs and their parents. I am currently a food server at a Mexican restaurant. I care for my tables and other people around. I have a passion for making people and pets feel loved and heard. I am willing to give my best efforts to your pets. I love the feeling of getting things done and making people and pets happy 😊 I am currently working a full-time job, I will work my best with anyone to fit their needs. I love pets and really want more experience and time with them. I want to walk them, feed them, play with them. I also want to show my love and care. I live in an apartment so I don’t have a backyard but I have a lot of space outside to walk and play with any pet. If needed, coming to the home of your pet, will completely work with me. I will listen and follow off of any instructions given to me.
“Kayla did a good job caring for our pets while we were away. She provided updates, pictures, and notes, which we appreciated and found helpful for peace of mind. Overall, a great experience and we appreciate her help.”

About: I have experience caring for small and large dogs. One opportunity was with a younger small dog and an older large dog. I house sat for two weeks two summers in a row, I took the smaller dog on walks, made sure to feed both dogs on a set schedule, and administered medication to the senior dog. My personal pet previously had health issues and I would also administer medication to her twice a day. Therefore I am comfortable working with dogs who may have health issues. I have also done drop in visits with a smaller dog for a month one summer where I would walk her, play with her, and make sure she was fed twice daily. I love to go on walks, and would love a furry friend to tag along! I am a full time graduate student so my schedule can be random. If there’s a time you want a walk or drop in visit I could throw one in the schedule! I currently am not available to do in house pet sitting as I am renting an apartment that is not pet friendly. I have done in client home pet sitting mainly, as my two previously clients also needed a house sitter as well.
“Kylie did such a great job doing drop in visits for my 3 cats! She’s reliable, a great communicator, and followed instructions. I definitely recommend booking Kylie for your pet services!”

Thank you so much for everything! We truly appreciate the wonderful care and attention you gave. Our cats really enjoyed spending time with you, and it gave us great peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The next time we go away, we will definitely be reaching out to you again. Thank you for all that you did!

We booked Cheryl for drop in visits for our three cats while my wife and I were out of town, couldn’t have been more amazing! Cheryl gave our squeamish kitty the medication she needed without any issues, and provided us with over a dozen pictures every drop on visit and even a video every day! Was awesome having the peace of mind knowing that such a great sitter was taking care of our kitties, would recommend Cheryl to anyone!

Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Estero. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
