“Thank you so much for taking care of our puppers while we were away on our family vacation. Wonderful updates and care while we were away. Next time we are away we hope you are able to watch them again!”

“Lea provided outstanding care and communication to our two small dogs in our home when we went on an overseas trip. She was very flexible as we figured out our travel plans, responded quickly to my questions and took great pictures of our very happy pets which she included in her daily summaries. We truly look forward to working with her again. Highly recommended.”

“As a repeat customer, I can confidently say Xintong is wonderful. She always makes me feel at ease and takes excellent care of my cat. Great communication and very dependable. I will definitely be booking again.”

“Megan is awesome!! I needed someone last minute and she quickly responded and was happy to help! She stayed with my pup while he ate as he doesn’t like to eat alone and walked him again to be sure he went to the bathroom. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats and even reptiles since I was 9 years old. I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and had my own pitbull as an adult. I have cared for dogs in every stage of their life from puppy to senior with extra needs being met. I have helped care for a house of 7 cats while living with a roommate as well. I have done several pet sitting jobs not acquired using an online service and have stayed in their homes to do so. I am extremely confident that you will love having me as a sitter and rehire me! Let me love on your fur babies. I’m currently unemployed and working on my dental hygiene license so I have plenty of time to care for your pets. As of right now, any days or times will work perfect for me. I cannot bring pets into my home but I would be more than happy to care for them in the comfort of their home or simply make visits.
“Eva is fantastic! She took such good care of our two cats. She even helped our cats to help them with our Christmas presents when they asked! 😉 She has been amazing and we will definitely book her again in the future!”

About: ive worked in doggy daycare, have been taking care of dogs since i was 8 (my own dogs and neighbors dogs). i also foster dogs and cats a decent amount here and there as well! i work part time at a coffee shop until usually around 3 pm. im also doing classes at FGCU. So I’d definitely have much more time this off season! I live in a college dorm, so i most likely wont be able to bring your pets to the dorms for me to take care of, sadly :(
About: I have grown up with dogs all my life. They are not just pets, but they are family. I have known my dogs for as long as I have had them, but to them; I am all they know. I am their life. Dogs have a special place in my heart and should be cared and loved for. They should be able to have fun, play, and have treats. I have dogsat and walked dogs since I was a little girl, but have done it more consistently since I was 17. When I come back home from college, I go back to sitting and walking during the summers and winter breaks. I am not currently working since I am home for summer break from college. I still do some college work, but I do that on my laptop. It depends on what notes the client leaves for me. Some dogs can’t have whipped cream while others can. Some love car rides while others don’t. Some can play fetch while others can’t. So, it depends on what regulations and instructions the clients gives to me. But I will always play, cuddle, walk, and pet the dogs. If they are not allowed on the couch, I sit with them on the floor and play with them or give them belly rubs. I do my absolute best with each pet with each regulation and instructions the client leaves for me. I have no problems with older dogs as well, because I have had to take pets to the vet and give medication. I also have no problems either puppies. I don’t mind what needs each pet has, because each pet has individual needs. Thank you
About: I will love your pet as if it’s my own. I adore (all) animals! I love their genuineness, loyalty and the joy they bring to our lives. I live here year round & work part time from home so I love the company of my dog! And my neighborhood has its own fenced in doggy park that we walk or golf cart to. My neighborhood dog park, walk, play in the house, dog beach if your dog likes that and you approve, as well as comfy and cozy down time

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have cared for and walked them since I was a child. Growing up with dogs taught me responsibility, patience, and how to read a dog’s behavior and energy level. I’m very energetic and active, so I genuinely enjoy long walks, playtime, and making sure dogs get the exercise and attention they need. Whether your dog prefers a structured walk, play sessions, or just companionship, I adjust to their personality and comfort level. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I treat every dog like they’re my own — with care, consistency, and close attention to safety. I’m dependable, communicative, and committed to making sure both you and your dog feel comfortable and confident. I’m a local realtor with a highly flexible schedule, giving me the ability to provide attentive, personalized care for your pet. My active lifestyle and high energy level allow me to keep up with dogs of all activity levels while ensuring they receive the time, exercise, and engagement they need. Your dog’s safety and your peace of mind come first. I provide attentive, structured walks tailored to your dog’s needs and temperament. I stay alert, use secure leash practices, and prioritize safe routes and positive experiences. When entering your home, I’m respectful, detail-oriented, and dependable. I follow all care instructions carefully and communicate clearly so you always feel comfortable and informed.
About: I have had pets of all types since the day I was born. I could not image a life without a furry best friend and loving companion. I have pet sat for a multitude of friends and family with varying sizes of dogs and cats with all sorts of specific conditions and needs. I strive to give my clients the absolute best care when it comes to their pets because I know they aren't just pets but family. As a full-time online college student I have an extremely flexible schedule with hours that aren't fixed. I thankfully have the ability to make my own schedule, without worrying about school commitment restrictions. I am extremely dedicated to providing a wide array of care to a wide variety of pets. Growing up with cats and dogs and currently owning my own cat I have personal hands on experience with how to handle and care for them. I possess a lot of knowledge from the food they eat, to their body language that only someone who has personal experience would be able to know. I also am fortunate enough to have grown up with a veterinarian for a grandfather so I spent a lot of my childhood watching him at his veterinary practice and even helping w/ examinations, medications, and very minimally invasive surgeries!
“Michaela was amazing. She responded last minute to my drop in request and was extremely responsive to me and thoughtful with my pup! She went above and beyond to make sure he was enjoying his time while I was away. I will definitely be using her again, and recommend her to anyone in the area!”

About: I have cared for several animals growing up. Dogs and cats were primarily overnights. I have experience with training dogs, everywhere from puppies to older dogs. I have trained dogs to do basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down, stop, roll over, paw, shake, and more. I enjoy playing fetch and living an active lifestyle which translates to how I care for animals. I believe they should have an active life as well. I would enjoy taking the dogs for long walks or having playtime at the beach. I can offer a light grooming service after so there isn’t sand carried through their fur. I can also provide some training for puppies if desired. I love all breeds and hope to have a dog of my own one day.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Bonita Springs
Morgan was fantastic! She took great care of our dogs, Ella and Blossom, and our cat, Shadow, on very short notice. She kept us updated throughout the stay, and it was clear they were all well cared for and comfortable. We really appreciated her reliability and would absolutely book with her again.

Thanks Hailey for caring for our cat while we were overseas! This was our first time using Rover. The site was easy and when we selected Hailey, she was very communicative right away. She came to our place to meet us and our cat so we could all be comfortable with each other (as well as view our instructions together). Everything went smoothly from the first visit on and we get appropriate updates on our cat and anything we needed to know about while we were traveling. We definitely will use Hailey again when we have a need and we highly recommend her for your pet needs.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sabrina was an incredible sitter for my cat, Monkey! She watched with her for several days and truly went above and beyond to make sure she was happy, comfortable, and well-cared for. Monkey can be a little aloof at first, but she warmed up to Sabrina right away — which says everything! I could tell she was getting tons of love, playtime, and attention. I received daily updates and photos, which kept me completely at ease while I was away. Every message showed how attentive and thoughtful Sabrina was — from making sure Monkey got her favorite toys and cozy spots, to spending real quality time with her. It felt like Monkey had her own vacation while I was on mine! 😹 Sabrina is friendly, responsible, communicative, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. I felt 100% confident and relaxed knowing she was watching over Monkey. I couldn’t ask for a better sitter and will absolutely be booking her again. If you’re looking for someone who treats your pet like their own, Sabrina is the one. Highly recommend! 🐾♥️

Molly was absolutely wonderful with our cats! By day two, she had already won them over with her kindness and patience. She truly cared and genuinely enjoyed playing with them and getting to know them. Molly sent personalized messages and many wonderful photos each day, which made us smile and gave us a real peace of mind. We couldn’t have asked for better care and a friend for our cats. Thank you, Molly!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
