We had to cut our trip short and Ashley said she would try to get some of our money back, but we only thought it was fair to pay her for the entire time. About: For more than 20 years, our life has been rooted in service and travel — first as a retired military family, and later as mission workers serving orphaned youth in the Dominican Republic. Through those experiences, home became especially meaningful to me. Some of the greatest joy in my life has come from raising my children, caring for our animals, and tending to our small homestead. Now that we are happily settled in Naples for good and my children are getting older, I have the opportunity to devote more time to caring for the homes and animals of others with the same love and attention I give my own. I am a homesteading and homeschooling Mom with older children, so my day is flexible with notice. I can do drop in visits to your home within a reasonable distance or stay over night keeping your pets comfortable in their own home as well. Because of the number of animals we already have on our little homestead, I’m only able to offer care for your fur-baby in your home.

I am currently off for the summer and do Sea Turtle patrol a couple days a week. I also own horses and ride them on a regular basis. I lost my Athena in September and have not been able to bring myself to getting another dog at this time. She was my heart dog, but I love on my grand dogs every day since they live next-door. Right now, I am building a home in the estates and can only do pop in at your house because I’m currently living in my fifth wheel temporarily.

About: I’ve always loved animals. My whole life I grew up with all kinds of pets: dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, turtles, hamsters etc. It has always been my dream to take care of animals! I originally began working in physical therapy as a PTA because we can get certified in canine physical therapy! I have yet to attend the required courses, but spending time with dogs and cats and taking care of them is just as good to me! I also have experience with elderly and diabetic dogs. I am available everyday throughout the week, and generally all hours of the day unless I am currently walking/taking care of another client’s pet. I always like to schedule a meet and greet before accepting an initial booking to discuss your pet’s routine, needs, and the plan for each visit so I can make sure everything goes smoothly while you’re away! I will provide pictures of your pet after a walk or at the end of the day if I am pet sitting overnight.
