“Had sort of a last minute booking and Sandra was super responsive and helped me out of a jam. Jett definitely had fun there, he was tired when I got him home and that is really rare for a blue heeler.”

“My 7 month old Maltipoo loved her stay with Samatha. She actually found a way that she’ll actually eat dog food. She actually also groomed her. Got pictures during the week. If I need her again, I will definitely call her again. She didn’t even sleep in her bed. She slept with her 8 year old daughter. Willow loves them.”

“I never give anyone 5 stars, but Karen and her husband are amazing!! Cole had the best time. We received many videos of him playing. He was very well taken care of, and we will definitely be using their services again.”

“What can I say they were AWESOME! I had a situation where another sitter canceled on us at the last minute and we had a flight in the morning reached out to them and with no hesitation and against their protocol to meet and greet with no hesitation accepted it and believed in us about our beloved pet behavior and ways and accepted to watch her I couldn’t thank him enough as he made our vacation plans great he is definitely our sitter for our pet and we will only use him and his services communication is flawless and our pet had a great time in their care. Thank you.🙏🏼”

“First time we have left our boys with Tara, so we were a little nervous (for her mostly). They had a great stay and she was a wonderful caregiver! Will definitely book again and highly recommend her!”

“Thomas & Lyndsay’s place has become a second home for Flynn. They treat him like one of their own, and he’s always comfortable lounging on their couch. He enjoys spending time with their pets. Perfect for overnight stays or longer visits!”

“Vetra was so good with my dog. She stayed over July 4 and there are a bunch of fireworks which my dog hates and Vetra did her best to comfort Lily. We’ll definitely be using Vetra again.”

“Natasha was amazing! She gave us updates everyday and sent pictures as well. Lulu was so happy in all the pictures. When we picked Lulu up she was trying to take Natasha home with us; making sure she was following us to the car. I will definitely be rebooking with her and everyone should leave their fur babies with her. She is so loving and caring.”

“Claudia is a pro. Delightful host, sweet family, and took the very best care of my pal Rocky. Rocky had a blast, and Claudia sent pictures and stayed in contact throughout the entire visit. She even resolved a Rover calendar error quickly and smoothly. A+”

“Emily, Aaron, their two boys, and their little Yorkie were super to deal with. They have a wonderful home, and yard, set up very nicely for my dog Snoogums to visit. I felt very comfortable with the arrangement. They sent me photos throughout the stay, with my dog playing, going on walks, sleeping. and playing. I felt comfort while on my trip with their communications. I would definitely repeat with them while away on my next trip. A definite A+ Dale & Snoogums”

“We had such a wonderful experience with Erika! She looked after our puppy for five days, showering her with love, keeping her schedule and constantly playing and entertaining her. She created the perfect home environment for her to feel comfortable. Erika kept us in the loop with regular updates and photos of our puppy. We’re definitely going to use her services again! We encourage everyone to hire her as a pet sitter, she is wonderful.”

“Cynthia and her family did an amazing job watching AK during our long weekend trip. Cynthia sent daily updates, videos, and photos during AK's stay in their home. Cynthia took the time to ask all important questions to ensure AK was well cared for and adjusted to her know in a comfortable manner. Cynthia was kind to adjust the stay and allow AK to stay another night due to delay in travel plans. When arriving home after picking up AK Cynthia included a sweet picture of AK during his stay in her home. We will definitely be using Cynthia and her family's services again.”
“Sarah is very attentive to my dogs needs. He sometimes does. It play well in the sand box and She recognizes that and makes Romeo feel as he is part of her family. I highly recommend Sarah abs she will be the first person I reach out to in the future. We have had 2 stays with Sarah and are super comfortable. We know our baby is in great hands”

“My dog means everything to me, and leaving her is very difficult. I went to see Krista and she seemed to be right person to watch Maggie. I was wrong, she was an outstanding person. Maggie is a dog that needs people and returns that affection with her love. Thanks Krista for taking such great care of her. I will not hesitate to use you in the future. Yours truly Don, Kelley, and of coarse Maggie May.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cape Coral
This was the first time leaving Oliver and Lexie with anyone other than family. Upon meeting Randal, we knew we had found the perfect pet sitter. He and his wife treated our dogs like their own and allowed them to sleep on the couch and bed. His updates and daily pictures/videos helped us feel relaxed that they were enjoying their time without us. Their home is extremely clean and beautiful. We will definitely be using them in the future.

Natasha was fabulous! (We did not meet Gaspare) Natasha responded to my inquiry and set up our meeting and greet to accommodate our busy schedules. She was extremely flexible and professional, which means very comfortable booking our dogs for an extended stay. We received pictures and updates daily and anytime I had an inquiry question Natasha responded immediately. Our dogs were very happy when we picked them up, everything was organized and ready for us so that it was a smooth and efficient process. We will definitely book with Natasha and Gaspar again!

We had an awesome experience! They were incredibly friendly, kind, and easy to work with from start to finish. Communication was great, and I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog in their care. It’s clear they genuinely love animals and go above and beyond to make both pets and owners feel at ease. I would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!
Sport has stayed with Brianne and her family many times and absolutely love him and treat him as their own. I’m very picky with Sport being he’s like a human to me ;) And it makes life easier when he returns home to us. Brianne is so accommodating with my requests for him. She’s the best!

Cayce and her daughter were awesome for our Buddy. He’s a rescue with separation anxiety, so we were nervous, too! Cayce and her daughter put us all at ease with lots of little notes and photos. They made our daughter’s wedding weekend extra perfect! Thank you Cayce!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
