“So happy we found Samantha! She is an amazing, animal loving, kind gal! Chandler immediately took to her as if he'd known her forever! Dogs know good people! Very pleased to have found her!”

About: Hi, I am Haleigh and am currently 25 years old. I have been around dogs my whole life and currently even have three of my own! I am able to care for dogs of all breeds/sizes and would love to keep them active or just hang out with them around the house. I am very familiar with training and good behavior so I may also help with obedience and if things ever get messy, am completely comfortable cleaning up around the house. I do have a part time job but am looking to earn some extra income to help with wedding funds! If you are interested or have any questions, message me and I would be happy to answer them! :) I work full time but as a server at a restaurant so my schedule varies. I have plenty of down time day or night to fit pet sitting/walking into my schedule! I have a yard and a friendly pup of my own to keep yours company! I can easily crate your dog/mine if needed to create the best environment possible

About: I’ve owned and cared for dogs my entire life and have been trusted by friends, family, and neighbors for 10–15 years to care for their pets in both short- and long-term situations. In my home, I maintain a structured, calm environment with consistent routines for feeding, exercise, and supervision. I currently have two well-trained, fully vaccinated dogs (a Goldendoodle and a Bernedoodle) who are very social and used to interacting with other dogs. I’m comfortable managing multiple dogs, understanding behavior, and ensuring a safe, low-stress environment. As a military veteran, I approach pet care professionally—with clear expectations, strong communication, and a focus on safety for all animals in my home. I maintain a flexible schedule and am home frequently throughout the day, which allows for consistent supervision and care. I structure my day around the dogs in my home and can accommodate established feeding, walking, and rest routines as long as they are clearly outlined in advance. My goal is to keep your dog on a schedule they are already comfortable with, while maintaining a calm, structured environment. I limit the number of dogs I take at one time to ensure each dog receives proper attention and consistency. My home is a safe, structured environment with two well-trained, fully vaccinated dogs (a Goldendoodle and a Bernedoodle) who are very social and accustomed to interacting with other dogs. I follow each owner’s instructions closely and will make every effort to maintain your dog’s normal feeding, walking, and daily routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. For safety, I only accept dogs that are friendly, non-aggressive, and comfortable around other dogs. Dogs are supervised, and crating can be accommodated if your dog is crate-trained. I prioritize clear communication so you always know how your dog is doing.
About: I had a dog when I was little and have loved animals ever since. I have pet-sat for many dogs in the past few years. I also adore cats and bunnies, as I helped take care of my mom’s bunny for a period of time. I am young, active, hardworking, and eager to be with animals. I have always gotten along with animals and enjoy being around them and taking care of them. I am looking for part-time work. I can be available anytime in the week unless booked by other sitting jobs. Any time of day is fine. I am happy to follow client instruction on how to best care for their pet in their home or outside of their home (at the park, on walks).
About: I'm a fun loving sitter who loves animals of all kinds. I can accommodate pretty much all dogs and cats. I will care for your pet like I would mine. I am currently home all day. I let the dogs out in the backyard every 2 hours. I have a large fenced in backyard where the dogs can play and go to the bathroom. I take special care of animals. I have lots of experience with caring for all types of dogs and pets. Your pet will be free to be a part of our home. They can be in a crate or out of a crate. I have locked gates in the backyard so no intruders or gates left open. I also have a screened in front porch so there is no possibility of the dogs getting loose.

“I appreciated Renee coming over earlier in the day for a meet and greet with Jack. Renee did great with the introduction. Jack was very comfortable with Renee. Walk was completed on time. Nice picture taken during the walk.. Will use Renee again.”

“Jenny has been an absolute lifesaver. She's incredibly flexible, responds quickly, and has been wonderful with Lola! We get pictures with each visit, and she goes above and beyond to acknowledge and meet Lola's age limitations with the brutal FL heat. I would recommend her with zero hesitation!”

About: I have owned dogs for as long as I can remember and currently have 5 dogs and 1 cat I care for. I also have experience working as a kennel tech and veterinary assistant for 3.5 years doing tasks such as walking, feeding, medicating, and updated any services clients may have requested. I take care of 5 dogs and 1 cat at home and at work I care for plenty more dogs and cats. I am constantly running around making sure they are fed, medicated, and fully updated with additional services clients request. With my job in an animal hospital I am experienced in seeing changes in dog’s body language and knowing how best to care for them for the current situation. I have experience caring for everything from small dogs to the biggest dogs.
“I needed help urgently and she was quick to respond and very accommodating. Sent updates, pictures, videos and arrived on time, and treated my dog with genuine care. So thankful to have found her on Rover!”

About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always been a huge part of my life. I currently have one dog and two cats that I absolutely adore, and I truly love spending time with animals of all kinds. Friends, family, and clients often tell me their pets seem to gravitate toward me and quickly become comfortable in my care. Building trust with animals comes naturally to me, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, playtime, or just some extra love and attention while you’re away, you can count on them being cared for with patience, kindness, and plenty of affection. I am currently working at a salon studio, as an Esthetician. I would love to do this on the days I’m not working. Even before or after the time I’m going in or getting off. I have a secure fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and get their energy out, and I love spending time outdoors. I regularly take my own dog on long walks and enjoy visiting pet-friendly parks, trails, and outdoor spots whenever possible. Living near the beach means I spend a lot of time outside enjoying the beautiful weather, and I love giving dogs plenty of exercise, enrichment, and attention. Whether your pup prefers a leisurely stroll, an active walk, or simply lots of playtime and affection, I’ll make sure they’re cared for as if they were my own.
“Heather is so helpful. As someone with anxiety about leaving my dog with someone she was so comforting and supportive! Bethel loves her ! Would book again if I lived in the area!”

About: I've been pet sitting for about 10 years, I have experience with large and small breeds, young and old. I just enjoy helping pets feel happy and loved while their owners are away. I work part time and have flexible hours in the afternoons and evenings. I am also very flexible with staying at client's homes for pet sitting especially on weekends because I don't work those days. Every pet has their specific routine and needs, I am very detail oriented and will make sure that their routine will carry on just like you would do for them.
About: 5+ years experience with various breeds, walking and caring for neighbors’ dogs and cats! Huge animal lover and active spirit. Current Momma of a sweetie pie black cat and a precious Italian Greyhound, both who I adore beyond belief. New addition- my baby girl Harlow, a Rottweiler puppy! I’m currently working part time, usually evenings, so my mornings and afternoons are both free for long walks and good times! I’ll also be available evenings for feedings & potty breaks. As a loving and proud Cat Mom I understand the anxieties that come with having to leave your fur baby at home with someone new. However, I’ll do my best to ensure a great time for your animal and a stress-free one for you! I grew up with dogs my whole life and adore them- and also love to be active outside. So if you’re looking for those lengthy walks or hikes I’m the one for the job!:)
“This was my first time using Rove and I’m so Glad I found the best pet sitter! Hallie was absolutely amazing! She was professional, kind, and so attentive with my two Dogs, Milo and specially with Motas who needs special treatment. My doggies were happy and comfortable when I got back, and that means everything. I highly recommend her and will definitely book with her again!”

I’m good at following detailed instructions for any specific care an animal needs. I live in a house in Maricopa and love long walks as much as your pup does. I am willing to be available for long hours if needed and I can adapt to many different environments since I am used to traveling for work and military. I love being around and playing with animals! I have a dog park available at all time near my home! Your dog will receive tons of love and affection in this here ❤️.

- 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
