“I’m very happy having Karissa come for drop ins with Marley and I know Marley is happy to see her when I am not home. Karissa is great with communication and I would recommend her to anyone needing someone to help with their dog care.”

About: I am fun and energetic who loves to be around dogs. I have had many dog over the last 20 years. I grew up with cats and love the little fluffies as well. I have watched friend's dogs when they have gone out of town. I have some experience with obedience training and agility with multiple dogs over the years. I love to make a dog's day happier and get all the love they can. I am with my dog majority of the day and love to play ball with her in the yard. I also take her to a full day of daycare a couple times a month so she can get out her extra energy and socialize with many other dogs. I make sure that my client's dogs or cats are cared for in the best and most loving way possible. I provide all the play, love, snuggles and attention that any dog needs in their daily lives. I like to include enrichment toys for an extra form of play that helps with their cognitive abilities.
“Samantha did drop in visits for our dog Cooper. She was great with him and we got photos and updates the whole time. I would definitely have her watch him again!”

“Natasha and Gaspare were excellent! Offered to take my trash out to curb and bring in my mail when my flight plans changed. All the pet’s dishes were washed. Everything left in order. A definite rehire!”

“Tim is the best. I’ve used him for both my puppy (who can be a lot) and a senior dog and he’s been so great with both. I use him for repeat visits and he’s always on time and I never have to worry about my pups while I’m at work anymore.”

“Erica was wonderful with our cat Monte. The pictures we received during the visit held us over until we got home, and Monte was always happy to see her every day. Care and attention were taken, excellent all around. Would recommend Erica for any pet!”

“This was the first time we have ever had someone pet sit our dogs in our home. Derek was very attentive with the dogs, great communication with us. Derek did a drop-in visit, sent us pictures with dogs. the dogs were very happy. we will definitely use Derek again and highly recommend him.”

“Ashley was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable leaving my cats at home and that my cats were comfortable. Ashely provided me updates and even left a ring doorbell message to ensure I was kept up to date. I will definitely be using Ashely for all future pet sitting needs!”

About: I'm a fun loving sitter who loves animals of all kinds. I can accommodate pretty much all dogs and cats. I will care for your pet like I would mine. I am currently home all day. I let the dogs out in the backyard every 2 hours. I have a large fenced in backyard where the dogs can play and go to the bathroom. I take special care of animals. I have lots of experience with caring for all types of dogs and pets. Your pet will be free to be a part of our home. They can be in a crate or out of a crate. I have locked gates in the backyard so no intruders or gates left open. I also have a screened in front porch so there is no possibility of the dogs getting loose.
About: Hi! My love and adoration of fur babies goes as far back as I can remember. I grew up with a Saint Bernard, Black Labs, cats and hamsters. Once I became an adult and bought a house of my own, I rescued a black lab/German Shephard mix named Alex. He became the love of my son's life and a best friend to all of us. I also rescued a cat named Midnight, who thought himself more dog than cat and was loved far more than he chose to be at times. I have also owned, loved and cared for bunnies, guinea pigs, ferrets, and a rat. Upon moving to Florida, I got a chihuahua named Champ who took to my black lab mix, Alex, immediately and developed a personality much like a lab and less a Chihuahua. Sadly, Alex passed several years ago and so Champ became my constant companion. He developed diabetes and a heart murmur which required insulin injections twice a day as well as heart meds. I know how to administer shots and give medication if your fur baby requires either of those things in your absence. I lost Champ a few years ago and I decided at that time that the heart break was too deep and I am not yet ready to get another dog. However, it occurred to me that I could use the love that I have for animals and spread it to other peoples cherished pets when they are not able to be home. I guarantee, if given the chance, that I will love and care for your pet as if it were my own. I understand all to well, what a pet means to his/her human! I am an elementary teacher. I work full time August-May. My work hours are 7:00AM- 4:00PM. I am off on the weekends. During the school year, I am able to do drop in visits in the morning before my work day begins and afternoons/evenings. Summers and weekends, I am flexible. I live in a condo which only allows for 1 pet, 20 pounds or less. I am willing to care for a pet in my home while you are away but obviously must be under 20 pounds. I am happy to drop in on your furry friends to let them outside, walks, cuddles, love, playtime, feedings, medication etc. I am also willing to stay at your home, with your pets, while you are away, if that is a service that you would prefer.

“Barry was wonderful and came out to meet me and my pups the same day I contacted him. He was so sweet with my pups and sent me pictures and updates during his visits :) my babies loved him and I could tell he truly cares for them and loves what he does. Thank you Barry! Rocky and Lola look forward to their next visit with you :)”
“Carlos and Sunnie took such good care of our dog Maverick! It was clear from the photos they sent that to us that Maverick loved their time together. This is the second time using Carlos & Sunnie and we will be sure to request them when needed in the future!”

Once again we had Derek take care of our dogs. He did numerous drop in visits for several days. He was great with the dogs the communication was excellent. Feeding the dogs went great. He even took out my garbage to the curb on pickup day. We highly recommend Derek to take care of anyone’s pets.

Jena was fantastic with our girls, and so understanding of their needs! She is fantastic at communication back and forth as well as working with us and our schedule around her own. She gave us so much peace of mind knowing how good of hands our girls were in. Can't wait to book with Jena again! - Kourtney

Jennifer did an amazing job. I am so grateful to her for taking such good care of my dogs while I had to travel. She was on time, and spent time walking with the dogs and playing with them, not just the "basics". I highly recommend her and hope she'll be available the next time I need help with pet care for my dogs. : )

Juan has been a lifesaver for me!! I have a lot of four-legged kids - several of which have medical needs and need to be monitored and/or have medication administered multiple times a day. I could tell right away by meeting him that he was confident in his skills and could handle taking care of my kids when I travel. Highly recommend!!

Hannah is such a sweet young lady and so respectful and my little old man loves her. He's truly a handful with his continence issues and he did well for her, but she was very kind an accepting of him and all that comes with caring for an old dog. We are so appreciative of that kindness! We will be using Hannah again and again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
