“Nina was so sweet and caring with our senior girl Lily. She was there on time for her drop in visits. Very dependable. Sent us some awesome pictures of our girl during her visits. Highly recommend. Thank you Nina.”

“Gilchin is the best! My boys love her so much. She’s the sweetest and took such great care of my kitties! You can tell she genuinely loves animals and I always felt comfortable knowing they were with her. Definitely recommend everytime!”

About: I grew up in a home of dogs and cats and now have one of each myself, so I have lots of experience with both. I have cared for a wide range of breeds, ages and personalities. I can administer medication, change doggy diapers and tire your pet out with fetch (or whatever they like). Favorite pet sitting experience: dog sitting 6 australian shepherds and 3 cats all under the same roof. All with different diets and daily routines. So much energy and so much speciality food. I am in the slow season of my seasonal job so I have more room for pet care than usual. My schedule changes weekly so my weekly availability varies. I have a super friendly dog that can keep your dog company for boarding or daycare. When caring for pets in their own home, I’m careful to read instructions very carefully and check in with the owner if unsure about anything.
“Rebecca was great! Super communicative, flexible and took great care of my cat who needed oral medication twice a day and sent great pictures of him. She was very considerate about everything and proactive. Would definitely trust her to watch our cat again!”

About: I have been surrounded by dogs since age 2. From Boxers and Yellow Labs to Dachshunds and Great Danes. At age 11 I began caring for the other pups around the neiborhood and have loved it ever since. I just graduated college so I will have plenty of time to give your pups the care that they deserve! Without a doubt your pups will be at ease while you are traveling. When I care for others pets I am sure to become well adjusted to their environment and what they are used to so they feel at ease. With plenty of snuggles, playtime or walks outside.
“Laci was amazing! We went out of the country for a vacation, and Laci’s excellent care put our minds at ease with our 3 kitties. She went above and beyond to work with us and our budget, and she was diligent in adding pictures and notes for each visit so we knew what was going on the whole time. Thank you so much Laci!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was about 12 years old. It started with family members who went on vacation, than neighbors and friends as well! I have been relied on to walk, feed, and bathe their pets. I currently work for myself and make my own schedule. Whenever I am needed I am able to drop what I’m doing and do what I need to for anyone and their pets! I am a loving fun person! I will do whatever is needed to take care of your pet. I love walks and playing outside with dogs.
About: I have a hyper and amazing cat named Billie. I got her from the Naples humane society. I fell in love with her the moment I got her and gradually started falling in love with other animals as well :) I am working one part time job currently and would love another part-time in something I love. I am passionate about animals and providing them the best care. I adjust to their needs and ensure they are comfortable with me and new environment if needed. I would love to adapt to their schedule.
“Adriene was the BEST! She gave us total peace of mind leaving our elderly kitties at home while away for holiday vacation. One of our kitties hasn’t been doing well and needs daily meds so we were a bit anxious about leaving her, but Adriene was super reliable dropping in everyday to take care of her. We will definitely book with Adriene again!”

About: I've been pet sitting for about 10 years, I have experience with large and small breeds, young and old. I just enjoy helping pets feel happy and loved while their owners are away. I work part time and have flexible hours in the afternoons and evenings. I am also very flexible with staying at client's homes for pet sitting especially on weekends because I don't work those days. Every pet has their specific routine and needs, I am very detail oriented and will make sure that their routine will carry on just like you would do for them.
About: I have two large-breed dogs, one is a three year old Cane Corso mix and our other girl is almost ten (a Lab mix)! Both are rescues from the south, so I have a lot of experience working with anxious dogs, puppies, and some senior care. I grew up with large black labs, so I've had dogs in my life, for my entire life! I run my own business and work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule. I can also take your dog for a longer hike, snifaris, and more! I do not host other dogs in my own home, but I would be sure to have a consultation with the client ahead of any pet sitting to go over routines, expectations, feeding schedule, etc. It's not fair to expect a dog to adjust to your schedule when you are the newbie in their life!
About: I have owned dogs most my life and even owned a variety of other animals like fish, bunnies, and guinea pigs. I also currently have 2 dogs of my own and have also done dog training with dogs I've owned in the past. Im friendly with a great work ethic and even have some training and knowledge with a variety of household pets. I am able to care for others fur babies while my 3 children are in school from the hours of 8-2. I can also be pretty flexible. I have some dog training knowledge, as well as a decent amount of knowledge on a variety of animals, and im also bilingual speaking English and Spanish.
About: I recently moved back to Florida to care for my elderly grandmother for a while. I am a registered nurse with experience in Emergency medicine, Labor and Delivery, Med-Surg and a few other skills sprinkled in. So, why on earth would an RN want to watch animals? Simple; I love them and I have a lot of extra time on my hands. I have had pets my whole life and I farmed for over 10 years raising animals. I have never been without a dog and a cat. Currently, my grandmother has a senior companion service dog who was trained for 2 years before she got him. He is a very low energy lap dog for the most part, but loves fur friends. I have one of my own fur babies with me who is 1 year old and a very well behaved service-animal-level dog especially for a puppy, but will run and play till she drops! Care available in your own home or mine. I am no stranger to medical treatments for animals and medications. I can handle all of that if need be at an additional cost. I have treated many living things (not only as a nurse of course), but the farm life has shown me a wide variety of animal care. I do have some weight limits for dogs due to the fact that I need to be very careful about any large dogs around the elderly. It only takes a wiggly butt to bump into someone the wrong way... so for right now; the smaller the better. I am willing to walk them, but we do have a fenced yard on the lake. And I take to dogs to get the mail in the golf cart (dog hauler)! (in doggy car seats of course) I work from home, so it's pretty easy. The only time I am not available is when I travel back home. If I leave for errands, I am normally not gone for more than a few hours on the bigger errand days. I have a fenced yard on the lake. We are in a gated community with plenty of walking room. My two there dogs are bell-trained to go out. We go for rides in the golf cart (it is really just an oversized person and pet-hauler). I can crate them and would prefer that so they can have their "space" or "den" to retreat to with their blanket or dog pillow/bed with all the smells of home. I will do medications and treatments if needed (ie; leg wraps, ear wash, etc). I will bathe them as outlined in services. I will clip nails but ONLY if that is something they are accustomed to as I have first hand experience with breeds that cannot tolerate it.
About: I love everything about the furry creatures! Be happy to help you out with any pet services that you may need, located on Sanibel Island. I'm currently available for pet sitting, walking, boarding on Sanibel Island. I have a very friendly, energetic Hava Poo. I can come to your home or take your pet to mine. I have a fenced in pool area as well as beach access that I walk my dog on every morning. I also live on a quiet dog friendly street.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of any kind since i was around 13. I love them unconditionally, they bring happiness to everyone. I have my own dogs, bigger breeds, and occasionally dogsit for my sister when she’s out of town! this is my full time! so i have plenty of time to make it everywhere i need to be! i make this my top priority day in and day out! my dogs are free roam in the house, trained and well behaved. my cat is also free roam and is well behaved, and likes almost everyone! if your animals are crate trained, that’s fine! your house your rules! i always stick to what the owners prefer, like, etc. for their animal. i never go the route of sticking to my own rules, it’s not my animal, the owner knows best!
“Kylie was great! We had a family death and had to attend a funeral on the other coast. I was worried about leaving my 3 month old pup for a long day. Kylie was able to rearrange her schedule to accommodate our needs. She did an amazing job with our new crazy puppy. Thank you Kylie! I think you have a very spiritual way with pets!”

“Alex did drop-ins for my girls while we were on a cruise. I always received photos and a little blurb about what they did. Definitely kept us at ease and I could tell the pups were also happy!”

About: Hello everyone! My name is Melanie and I'm 33 years old. I've taken care of animals my whole life (including dogs, cats, hamster, fish, birds, etc.), and developed a true passion for all of them. I’m a very active person and am very involved in the pets I agree to care for! Which means lots of attention, belly rubs and walks for your loved one. I can also take your pet to any vet appointments for you as needed. If you want to feel confident, secure and worry free leaving your pet with someone to care for them as much as you do, I'd be the best choice for you. Thank you for reading and I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon! I work a part time job usually Saturday and Sunday night at 5pm and can rearrange my schedule to accommodate you and your pets needs! I care for all pets with lots of love and attention! I also tend to each pets individual needs whether that’s extra play time or lots of snuggles!
Sanibel dog parents share their Rover experiences
Elizabeth B provided the finest drop in and walking services with our two dogs. She is punctual, listens carefully, providing effective plus timely communication about our dogs which included time stamp photos and creative videos of their behaviors. Elizabeth has a real talent in working with dogs. Our dogs Millie (golden doodle) and Oreo (border collie)can both be challenging to for different reasons yet the dogs seemed to instantly like and trust her. She spent two days exercising and taking care of our dogs giving us the opportunity to spend time in Naples with our family. We will always use Elizabeth B's sitting, walking, plus other services whenever we are visiting Sanibel Island.

We are so grateful to Elizabeth for checking in on our chocolate lab , Marner! She was incredibly punctual, arriving right when she said she would, which gave us great peace of mind. The best part was her wonderful communication- she sent multiple videos and pics throughout her visit showing us Marner playing and getting plenty of pets. it was clear he was receiving tons of love and attention. We returned home to a very happy and relaxed pup. We will absolutely be booking Elizabeth again and cannot recommend her highly enough! Thank you for Everything!

Elizabeth was AMAZING! She cheerfully accepted our last minute holiday booking and did a great job. Squeezed in a meet-and-greet, showed up on time, followed instructions exactly, and showered our dogs with love while we were away. She even sent photos, videos, and text messages letting us know when she was there and how they were doing. Great communication and quick to respond to text messages. You can tell she loves dogs, which means the world when you leave your pets in someone else’s care. We will definitely call her again and would gladly refer our friends to her. Thanks, Elizabeth!
