“Channing is the absolute BEST ❤️ she has been caring for Knox since he was a 7 month old puppy to now he’s 2 years old. Her TLC has made a huge difference in taking care of Knox while my son was away in college. Highly recommend & she’s a blessing if your able up cross paths with her in life ❤️”

“She did an amazing job taking care of my dog! She was incredibly patient, attentive, and caring throughout the entire time. She kept a close eye on my pup, made sure all of his needs were met, and treated him with so much kindness and affection. She was also very punctual, reliable, and easy to communicate with. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such good hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving pet sitter!”

“Sarinna is very good with our two little dogs and they both liked her as well. She came over the day before for a meet & greet and we could tell instantly that she knew how to care for our dogs. We highly recommend her and we will be requesting her services from now on.”

About: I have experience taking care of care of the smallest, and most ferocious chihuahuas to the largest of lovable breeds like the purebred German shepherd. I know they all have their own unique personalities and such and that’s why it’s important for me to let them warm up to me at their own pace. I have just started to look for more work as a “professional” pet sitter, along with house sitting. I am still in the process of expanding my little side business! Honestly I try to spend as much time with them as possible, or for cats let them come to me. For me it’s about being patient with their wants such as walking or play time, and always making sure they are healthy and well fed.

“Stephanie showed up on time for not only the meet-and-greet, but also the two morning visits that I requested. She went over and above!”

About: We had a yorkiepoo for 15 1/2 years. I don't want one of my own right now, can't go thru that loss again, it was awful. I also have two daughters, family and friends in Ohio, we travel a lot and don’t want to be tied down with a dog of our own. I get my “fix” by watching others dogs. Due to a family member allergies, I can not board a dog at my home that sheds. We moved here from Ohio in 2021. I am not working and would love to take care, play or walk your fur baby or babies. We live in a sub division with sidewalks and walking trails for your dog. Small yard but no fence. Your dog will get lots of love.
About: I’ve been taking care of animals my whole life. Whether it was saving baby birds, taking in strays, and pet sitting for friends and family. Your pets will feel safe and comfortable with me. I am very patient and loving and I understand every pet is different whether it be being shy when meeting new people or overly excited. I’ve dealt with it all and with your insight on your pets personality and needs I’ll make sure your sweet angel will be in a stress free environment and will always feel loved. I do this full time so I’ll be with all your furry friends all day every day which means by the time you come home they’ll be completely exhausted and ready for all the cuddles! I treat all animals that are in my care as if they were my own. I have dog beds and cats beds around the whole house along with a huge cat tree for any one of the animals to use. In my house all animals are treated as family and can sleep on any piece of furniture they please. Anything your pet could want I am willing to give as long as they’re happy and healthy. My goal is just to spread love to them when their parents can’t be there to do it themselves.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Placida with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
