“Christine was awesome! She always came around the same time, which and important because our cats liked their daily treat at a certain time, did all the things we asked of her and spent time with our cats. We are so appreciative of her visits and felt confident with her caring for our cats. Will definitely utilize her service again in the future!”

“Nathalie was wonderful! Very kind, communicative, and responsive. I appreciated her so much especially with last minute notice. Highly recommend, will definitely request her again!”

Making sure that they are safe, comfortable, and well cared are the most important aspects of this job. I work full time in a veterinary hospital, so I would be available on my two days off, Sundays and Wednesdays. Could also do evenings on Saturdays if need be. Making sure your furry family members are taken care of just like you would is my number one priory. That they are safe and comfortable.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals my whole life. Whether it was saving baby birds, taking in strays, and pet sitting for friends and family. Your pets will feel safe and comfortable with me. I am very patient and loving and I understand every pet is different whether it be being shy when meeting new people or overly excited. I’ve dealt with it all and with your insight on your pets personality and needs I’ll make sure your sweet angel will be in a stress free environment and will always feel loved. I do this full time so I’ll be with all your furry friends all day every day which means by the time you come home they’ll be completely exhausted and ready for all the cuddles! I treat all animals that are in my care as if they were my own. I have dog beds and cats beds around the whole house along with a huge cat tree for any one of the animals to use. In my house all animals are treated as family and can sleep on any piece of furniture they please. Anything your pet could want I am willing to give as long as they’re happy and healthy. My goal is just to spread love to them when their parents can’t be there to do it themselves.
About: We had a yorkiepoo for 15 1/2 years. I don't want one of my own right now, can't go thru that loss again, it was awful. I also have two daughters, family and friends in Ohio, we travel a lot and don’t want to be tied down with a dog of our own. I get my “fix” by watching others dogs. Due to a family member allergies, I can not board a dog at my home that sheds. We moved here from Ohio in 2021. I am not working and would love to take care, play or walk your fur baby or babies. We live in a sub division with sidewalks and walking trails for your dog. Small yard but no fence. Your dog will get lots of love.
About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. From energetic puppies to gentle seniors! I’ve also handled dogs who are quite temperamental including my own dog, who can be quite temperamental at times. This personal experience has taught me the importance of patience, reading animal body language, and creating a calm, consistent environment that builds trust. As a remote worker with a flexible schedule, I’m able to provide consistent, attentive care for your pets throughout the day. Whether it’s potty breaks, playtime, medication, or just companionship, I’m available and fully present to meet all of your pet’s needs. When your pets are in my care, their safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities! You can trust that I’ll follow their routine closely, provide plenty of love and attention, and respond to their needs with care and compassion. I treat every home with respect and every pet like family—offering you complete peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I love animals and have been caring for them since I can remember. Whether it be my own pets, volunteering, or as a job. I have taken the time to learn about the mannerisms and needs of many pets, cats and dogs in particular. I am comfortable accommodating medical issues and more challenging personalities. I strive to be thorough and responsible with my care, not only for your satisfaction, but because I want your babies to be as comfortable as possible! I have ample time throughout the week to dedicate to sitting though it will change periodically due to potential work schedule changes or school or personal plans My care will vary depending on your wishes and the personality of your pets! In general, I prefer to clean the litter box periodically throughout the day (for dogs bathroom breaks every two hours or less is optimal), as well as replace their water 2-3 times. I believe intellectual stimulation everyday is important via playing or other new experiences. I also own adjustable harnesses for supervised outdoors time so long as that is something you’re comfortable with.
“Sarinna is very good with our two little dogs and they both liked her as well. She came over the day before for a meet & greet and we could tell instantly that she knew how to care for our dogs. We highly recommend her and we will be requesting her services from now on.”

“Stephanie showed up on time for not only the meet-and-greet, but also the two morning visits that I requested. She followed directions that I left, kept in contact with me, sent photos, and reassured me (around an upcoming storm) that she would take care of any situations that came up. She went over and above!”

About: Hello! For most of my life I've grown up around pets. We always had dogs and cats, and while currently we have four cats I often house sit my mother's dog Honey. I have a passion for animals I hope to someday turn into a career. Just a side note while I am available weekends my time is limited to late mornings early afternoons due to transportation issues Currently I am unemployed and trying to get out of the food service industry. I have access to a vehicle if needed for house visits. I will happily take your furry friend on multiple walks, drop in to ensure everyone gets bathroom breaks, or even watch your cats if you're out of town. Typically for our four cats I take sole care of them. They are fed 1/4 cup dry food each 2 times a day and a can of wet food a day as well. Our cats are older so there's not much activity wise, however when Honey my mother's dog visits we usually do two walks a day. We also have a fenced in backyard for zoomies, full screened in lanai (with a pool which can be sectioned off) for post zoomies. When watching her overnight she gets herself a full bowl of dry food to graze on while receiving two portions of wet food throughout the day.
About: Hello Pet Parents, my name is Elianna Shaffer and I’m excited to make new furry friends. I grew up with two cats and a dog. Now, as a young newlywed, we have our own kitty named Milo. He is our sweet, fun-loving, all black Bombay. I love cats and hope to foster kittens in the near future. Although I’m more familiar with cats, I’m ready to step out of the box and take care of some canines. I’m looking to walk dogs, cat sit, and other services upon request. I have experience with pet sitting for family and friends. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and a bird. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies!! I occasionally work at a Coffee shop from 7:30am-2:30pm. My schedule vary’s from week to week and I might be off as early as 11:30am depending on how busy the days are. I have Sunday’s guaranteed off because I go to church. Other than that I can be scheduled to work any day Monday-Saturday. Please feel free to ask me what my schedule looks like for the dates you would like me to be your pet caregiver. That way you can decided if my schedule will meet your needs and preferences. I would make sure to visit them right before and after I am done with my shifts. For house sitting I would come straight back to the house after work and be with them for the rest of the day. I have a screened in back porch for animals to get fresh air. We do not have a fenced in yard yet, but have access to my parents yard that is 5min away from our house. We have a nice neighborhood and parks nearby for walking. We have space to board cats and small to medium sized dogs. Will consider care for large/giant dogs upon request. Also willing to accommodate boarding, sitting, etc.. for more than two pets of the same house hold upon request.
The median cost per visit for dog sitting in Rotonda West is $21

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Rotonda West with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
