About: I have always had a dog in my life since I was born but my caretaking journey started when a little corgi entered into my world. She was an escape artist, food fiend, she couldn’t be left for too long and she battled anxiety her whole life, but she brought me the most joy. She taught me attentiveness, and limitless love. During the school year, I am a grad student and my weekends are usually free. I have class 9-5:30pm tue-fri with a 2 hour break 12-2pm everyday. Mondays are always free. I currently have four cats and a Golden Retriever of my own, including a blind cat, so I also have personal experience caring for an animal with special needs and understanding the extra patience, attention, and consistency they may require. The most important would be away from your pups are 4.5 hours. I own and run a boat tour business in the area. Most of my trips are 4 hours max. Whatever your rules are at your home is what I do. When I take them out on adventures I always keep them on leash unless it is gated. Even if they have recall, I don't chance that.
