“This was our first time using Rover and we were so lucky to have Grace as our pet sitter. My kitties love her and she’s so dependable and personable. Thanks so much Grace!”

“Sofie was everything we could have hoped for looking after our elderly cat. She cared for Nahla as though she were her own and we are grateful to her for her kindness. It relieved our anxiety having to be away. Thank you Sofie! Nahla misses you!”

“Briana has looked after our cat several times and she has always been reliable. She makes sure all of our cat’s needs are met and communicates about them when necessary. She is a very kind and friendly person who I’ve had the privilege of having as a cat sitter. Your pets will be in good hands with Briana.”

About: I am dedicated to caring for your pets and all of their essential needs. I recently moved from Annapolis, Maryland to Florida where I also cared for pets. I am a Master's Student in Psychology. My studies focus on animal trauma and human/animal relationships. I have years of experience in caring for pets. I have a flexible schedule and very much enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing with them. Dogs are extraordinary, sentient animals, and each has a unique personality. I love all animals and am also very familiar with parrots. Sufficient exercise helps relieve elimination problems, excessive barking, destructiveness, separation anxiety, and other common issues. Exercise helps improve muscle tone and joints. Aging pets must be kept agile and fit too. Walks are great for maintaining weight as well as improvement and maintenance of the cardiovascular system.

About: I love animals and am able to care for any temperament. I have a rowdy rescue who keeps me on my toes. I’ve pet sat for cats and dogs over a few days, following all instructions from owners. I’m a nurse so my schedule typically leaves me with 4 days off a week so I’m looking for an easy side job. I love going for walks, but my dog does not so I figure Rover would be a win-win! Your pet gets some attention while you’re busy and I get to walk good boys and girls! I care for pets based on their needs and the instructions of the owners. For example, one dog I walked was going through some strict training with their owners so I had to adapt my walks to ensure the dog practiced their new commands. I know big dogs with lots of energy need more exercise to meant their needs and smaller, older dogs may just need some pets! Whatever you feel your pet needs, I will follow those instructions.

About: I’ve been a vet tech for 3 years now and I can say I will never change my job. I’m a big animal lover small and big, senior dogs to puppies. I’m very well trained in giving insulin and medication. I can also give baths and deshedding groomings. I’ve pet sit, walked and over night sitting for some of my clients. I’m a very bubbly and outgoing person. I have a full time job at a vet clinic. I am available on the weekends for walks, pet sitting and just checking up on the pups. On the week days I can pet sit at the clients houses, morning and afternoon feedings and morning and afternoon walks. I can walk the dogs, feed them, medication or insulin if needed. Baths at owners request. Taking them to the dog park at owners request.

“Tracy is top-notch. She has helped me out a number of times, is very reliable and Ginger loves her. As a cat Dad I am grateful and feel assured when I have to go out of town. Highly recommended and appreciated.”

“This has been a wonderful experience for both Mishu and I. Lisa and her daughter Aeryin could not have been more attentive to all of my cat’s needs. I was sent daily updates with pictures, which I loved. Mishu got to try new activities and even bonded with the other animals at Lisa’s house. My cat came home looking calm and happy! I’m so pleased with this experience and we would definitely love to repeat it. I recommend Lisa and Matthew as excellent and responsible pet sitters.”

“Our first experience with Rover, and with having someone -other than family- care for our (very needy) bengal kitty. I’m happy to say, Erin was great! She made us feel completely at ease leaving her alone in our home with Desmond. Desi loved her and looked for her after she left :( She is intuitive, cares a great deal and was super communicative, sending texts regularly, which was very much appreciated. We would absolutely call on Erin any time we need a sitter!”

“Great service! Thank you so much!”

“Quinn was an exceptional cat and house sitter who truly went above and beyond during her stay. Not only did she provide excellent communication throughout, keeping me fully informed, but she also sent numerous pictures of my cat, ensuring I felt connected and at ease. Her attention to detail was astounding; she even washed my sheets and made my bed before leaving. Quinn's dedication and care are unparalleled. I highly recommend her services to anyone.”

About: I have helped take care of dogs and cats since I was about 12 years old as my family has 4 dogs and 1 cat. Though in the recent 5 years is when I have consistently handled taking care of animals myself. I have taken care of my friends dogs a lot and I adopted a cat last July. I am a huge animal lover and am just happy to be able to help in any way I can and make the experience enjoyable for the animal and helpful for the owners. I am currently working Monday through Thursday 7:30am to 6:00pm and I am off on weekends. I am available anytime after work or the days I am off! I am able to play, feed, and walk the pet. I can easily get dogs in and out of crates if needed. I can clean litter boxes or do any maintenance that is needed for the animal. I can also take them to the vet or anywhere they need to go.

About: Hi, friends! I took a hiatus from Rover to catch up on life. I am now back, and ready to meet all the furry friends in the Sarasota area! A quick bit about me: I am an animal lover. Growing up I was not allowed to have pets because of my mother's allergies, but would always give the best care for my friends' pets. I have been a part of this awesome Rover community for over seven years (wow) now, and have met some incredible people, some I now call family. I have both walked and sat (and even lived with) a variety of dog breeds, shapes, and sizes. Each has a different personality and unconditional love I look forward to interacting with every time. I am a server and work at Ophelia's, and always want people to know that I do have a job that keeps me away for 5-6 hours at a time. Some pups can't be alone for that long and I completely understand! I do have a pretty flexible schedule since I work nights, but always want to make sure your doggo's needs are met first. Dogs seem to take to me very well because I'm rather petite and don't pose a very big threat only being 4'11. I am looking forward to meeting you and your beloved pup pups!! As mentioned I do work as a server at night. Scheduling is pretty flexible in the summer months especially and more time off can be acquired. I do not have to be in until the late afternoon, giving me all day to spend hanging out with our furry four legged friends. I always ask owners if the dog is reactive on walks, and if there are any dogs in the neighborhood that they just don't seem to get along with and what time the owners usually perform their walks, feedings, etc. I don't want to disrupt a routine. I also ask if there are any quirks a dog may have and/or allergies. I also want to know how the dog (god for bid) reacts to a vet visit in case of an emergency.

About: My name is Maria and I love dogs! We'd be happy to give your little guy or gal a home away from home. I have an extremely fit golden retriever that I love to walk daily in our park -1 mile away; its just as easy to walk another pup too. I run my own business, which aside from visiting clients, has me working from home the majority of time. I have been dog sitting for friends/family for years and thought, why not take this up a level? My pup, Porter is extremely friendly and loves other dogs. We'd be happy to host your dog as well. I'm accustomed to working with all sorts of dog-personalities and enjoy giving them love. Text with any questions.

“thank you for your time!”

About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals for as long as I can remember! I love all animals, and will take care of your pet like they’re my own :) I am currently a full time college student with a flexible schedule that allows me to follow my passion: animals! I am able to visit your pet however frequently you would like. I provide the best care possible! I have taken care of high energy puppies to senior dogs with medical issues. I treat all animals like I would treat my babies (my dogs lol) and understand how important routines and special instructions are!

About: Hello everyone! I have extensive experience with animals and would love to work with yours. After working in a holistic pet supplies store I have gained more knowledge about animals. I work part time at a vet clinic helping animals. I am knowledgeable in food allergies, joint problems, amazing toys, yummy treats and ways to get excess energy out of your pups and cats. I have loved animals all my life and was taught from the young age of 8 how to take care of pets. I have 3 cats myself but I love dogs also! I am available all day Tues-We’d. I can send you pictures of your furry babies if you like updates. I can handle multiple animals as well. I am available all day Tuesday and Wednesday every week with at least an hours notice. These are the 2 days I have full day childcare. Taking care of and playing with animals is my dream job! Keeping an eye on animals is a must because they like to get into things they shouldn’t. The dog will be leashed all times outside of the home for their safety. Keeping doors and gates closed at all times is highly important so they do not wander off. I will be able to update you when you like and send pictures of your dog or cat. If any animal needs special care please let me know ahead of time and I will do my best to accommodate.
