About: In regards to my experience with personal pet care. From a young age, I have raised and help nurture animals in all stages of their life. Along with dogs I have provided care for other animals such as: Cats, Fish, and Horses of various shapes and sizes. LGBTQIA friendly 💖🏳️🌈 I am currently a Freelance Character Designer and Illustrator, so my schedule is pretty flexible. Let me know what's up and I'll probably be down. I care for your pets as if they were my own. Your pets wellbeing and comfort is a top priority! Also I maintain and keep schedules and plans in place for your pet; along with monitoring health, behavior and notifying pet parents of any change that arises while in my care. I want to be 100% transparent with everything that goes on in your absence to keep you at a peace of mind.
About: I specialize in shy, nervous, and sensitive pets who need a little extra patience and understanding. My calm energy helps animals feel safe and open up at their own pace. Even the ones who “don’t like people” usually end up loving me 🐾 I plan my weekly routine around my pet care commitments to ensure reliability and consistency. I’m organized, punctual, and mindful of each pet’s schedule, whether that’s feeding times, walks, or medication. I take this responsibility seriously and make sure every pet receives dependable, quality care. Your pet’s safety and emotional comfort are my top priorities. I create a calm, secure environment and take the time to understand each pet’s unique personality, especially those who are shy or sensitive. I’m very attentive, gentle, and communicative, so you can feel completely at ease while your pet is in my care.
“Carolina did a drop-in visit for my 12-year-old cat. She was very communicative and sent cute pictures of Digby. I would recommend her to anyone needing a drop-in visit for their fur babies (:”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have experience caring for pets of different personalities, ages, and needs. I understand that every pet has their own routine, preferences, and quirks, and I’m happy to follow their normal schedule as closely as possible. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, giving lots of attention and affection, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m also a big believer in communication, so I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you know your pet is doing well. Whether your pet is energetic and loves to play or prefers a quiet day with lots of cuddles, I’m happy to give them the attention and care they need. 🐾❤️ My schedule varies, but I have flexibility throughout the week and can work with your pet’s routine. I’m available for daytime walks and drop-in visits, and I’m happy to coordinate a schedule that gives your pet the attention, exercise, and care they need while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your instructions carefully and keep your pet in a safe, comfortable environment. I understand every pet has different routines and needs, and I’m happy to accommodate feeding schedules, medications, walks, playtime, and other care instructions. I’ll treat your home and your pet with the same care and respect I would want for my own.
About: I’m a counselor during the school year and have side jobs to supplement my income. Kids and animals love me as I love them even more! ;) For the pets that I fall in love with, I will maintain those services. I have a therapy dog that works along side me. I’ve given medicine, bathe, love on them and will be their fill in mommy/daddy until you return. ;) I’m also open to discussing the costs. ***Currently I don’t have any pets of my own so I have a lot of flexibility. The therapy dog is a volunteer. I have a lot of flexibility as this is my only job at the moment. I am off during the summers so I enjoy working with animals. During the school year I’m a school counselor. I have flexibility with the job as I’m able to leave for a lunch break/check on your pup. Also, my counselor hours are 8:15-3:30. I am in early and off early to be able to check on your animals. *** I will be in town for the holidays :) I feed them, provide love, walks, and play with them. I am happy to have your kennel here for them if it helps them feel more comfortable. That is not a requirement though. I prefer going to your home only because the animals tend to do better in their own house.
“Tracy is top-notch. She has helped me out a number of times, is very reliable and Ginger loves her. As a cat Dad I am grateful and feel assured when I have to go out of town. Highly recommended and appreciated.”

About: Hi, I'm Miranda, a lifelong animal lover with over 20 years of experience in pet care, including in-home sitting and drop in visits for cats and dogs and even the occasional exotic fish or bird. Based in North Port, Venice and Sarasota areas. I believe pets thrive best in their own familiar environment—free from the stress of kennels or boarding facilities. That's why I specialize in personalized, overnight in-home pet sitting, ensuring your furry family member gets the love, exercise, and routine they crave while you're away. I've fostered many rescues in my home. I have skills in everything from oral medication administration to basic behavioral training. Whether it's daily walks in the neighborhood, playtime with toys, or cozy cuddle sessions on the couch, I tailor my care to your pet's unique personality and needs. I also provide daily photo and video updates so you can stay connected! Past clients rave about my reliability and the peace of mind I bring. When I'm not watching fur babies, you'll find me at the beach, hanging out with my 2 rescue pups or adventuring. Ready to book a meet-and-greet? Message me! Let's keep your pet happy, healthy, and home—where they belong! 🐾 Looking for a reliable sitter in Gulf Gate? I work locally Mon–Thu and can easily swing by for drop-ins before, during, or after my workday. I’m also happy to stay at your place! I’ll be out of your house during the day for work, but I make it a priority to come home at lunch to check on your fur babies and make sure they’re doing great. I’ve been a dedicated animal lover and sitter for over two decades! My journey began on a Colorado ranch where I looked after everything from pups to poultry (and the occasional iguana). Since then, I’ve spent years fostering dogs and building a loyal base of repeat clients who trust me with their homes and 'fur babies.' You can count on me to provide the same love and care I give my own pets, while always leaving your home exactly as I found it—clean and tidy
About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals and connect with them naturally. I’m patient, attentive, dependable, and treat every pet like my own. I’m taking classes Monday through Thursday from 9am–2pm, but I’m free outside of those hours and completely available Friday through Sunday. My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility to spend quality time with your pets and accommodate their usual routines. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, so I make sure to follow your instructions and care for them the way they’re used to. I’m attentive, patient, and always prioritize making your pet feel safe and comfortable while you’re away.

“Great sitter!! Pleasant. Communicative and personable. Very flexible with her schedule. Always checking in and checking out! — sent a lot of pictures. Highly recommended. Will use her again!”

About: I've owned a variety of dogs of every breed and size, (Gr8Danes, pekingese, doodles, terriers, the list goes on) all from a very young age. I've had puppies, to special needs seniors... All of whom have different skills sets required for their care. Im currently a stay at home Mom. One of my children is a 2 time cancer survivor and requires a flexible schedule due to her weakened immunity. My schedule is pretty packed as a busy mom before and after school... but my availability during the day and on weekends is usually fairly open for visits, walks, cuddles or any type of care. I'm more than able to follow any schedules you may want to follow. Including eating/medication times as I know and respect how sensitive some animals are.

About: I have had dogs all my life and currently have 2 dogs. My dogs are my babies and I will treat yours just like my own. I have crate trained young dogs to caring for senior pups as well. I am reliable and trust worthy. I work remotely and can stop in or walk morning and afternoon during the week. Weekends I am open to come by as needed or stay with your pets. I have dogs of my own and need to come to your home to take care of your pets. My older dog is hit or miss getting along with other dogs so I will not be able to have your pets at my house.
“I set up the appointment with Erin as an opportunity to meet and have an initial interaction. She immediately was focused on building a connection with my Bentley and by playing and interacting was already picking up on nuances of Bentley and showed a genuine interest and affection. I wouldn't hesitate to have Erin spend extended time with Bentley knowing he would be well taken care of. Think he's missing her already!”

About: I’m a certified Veterinary Technician with hands-on clinical experience, which sets me apart from most sitters who don’t have a medical background. I can recognize early signs of illness, injury, or distress that an untrained eye might miss — and I know how to respond calmly if something comes up. Specific skills I bring: • Medication administration — comfortable with oral and topical meds, including multi-pet or complex schedules • Senior pet care — experienced with mobility issues, medication timing, and the extra patience older pets need • Puppy care — house training reinforcement, socialization, and safe exercise for growing joints • Anxious or special-needs pets — calm, patient handling for pets who need extra reassurance • Health monitoring — tracking eating, energy, and bathroom habits so you get an accurate picture, not just “they’re fine Pet care is a consistent, reliable part of my week, not something squeezed in around other plans. Monday through Thursday, I’m available after 4:30 PM through 7 AM the next morning — perfect for evening walks, overnight stays, or early morning visits before your day starts. Friday through Sunday, I’m open all day and night, so weekend trips, full-day pet sitting, and last-minute weekend bookings are easy to accommodate. This schedule means your pet gets steady, dependable care on a routine they can count on — whether it’s a weekday evening walk after work or a full weekend of overnight sitting. Overnight & House Sitting I stay in your home so your pet keeps their normal routine, environment, and comfort — no stressful car rides or unfamiliar spaces. I follow their existing feeding, walk, and medication schedule exactly as you’d do it, and I spend real time with them (not just quick check-ins) so they get companionship, not just care. I also keep an eye on the house — bringing in mail/packages, watering plants, and making sure everything’s secure while you’re away. Dog Walking & Drop-In Visits I arrive on schedule and give your pet my full attention for the visit — fresh food and water, a walk or bathroom break, and playtime or affection depending on their energy level. For pets on medication, I handle that at the right time with the right dose. I always do a quick health/behavior check while I’m there, since my vet tech background means I notice things like changes in appetite, energy, or mobility. Every visit, regardless of service • Daily photo and video updates so you can see exactly how things are going • Care that matches their routine, not a one-size-fits-all approach • Attentiveness to health and behavior, not just supervision I don’t currently offer boarding in my own home — all my services take place at your home, so your pet stays in their own familiar space.
About: I provide structured, dependable pet care built around routine, supervision, and clear communication. I work with a wide range of breeds and personalities, from working dogs like Brittanys and Labrador Retrievers to rare breeds like the Swedish Vallhound. I adjust care based on temperament, energy level, and age, ensuring each pet feels secure and engaged. My goal is simple: Treat every pet like I want mine cared for and give owners peace of mind knowing their companions are in good hands with lots of pictures through out the stay. Because I work from home, your pet is rarely left alone. I provide a stable, structured environment with consistent supervision throughout the day, ideal for dogs that thrive on routine and attentive care. Safety and structure come first in my home. I double check gates and entry points before every walk, use secure leashing practices, and maintain a controlled environment to prevent overstimulation. Whether caring for a senior cat or a high-energy retriever, I tailor each pet’s routine to match their age, temperament, and energy level to keep them safe, balanced, and comfortable.

About: I have been a long time dog owner and love spending time with dogs of all ages and sizes. I’ve owned dogs my entire life and have pet-sat for many friends and neighbors growing up. I currently work for an animal shelter so I’m used to working with a variety of dogs and cats and their various personalities. I know every dog is different so I customize each experience so that it’s right for your pet. If your dog likes to run, I’ll run with them. If they like to play fetch, I’ll play with them. Whatever your dog needs, I’ll be there for them. I’ve had many dogs with different personalities so I’m used to changing my methods to keeping them happy and healthy. I work flexible hours, with only a couple days on site vs. remote, so I have the ability to spend time with your pets and give them the love they need. I provide care in clients home. I’m currently only doing dog walks and drop in visits; no overnight stays right now. This may be an option in the future.
About: Growing up will all kinds of pets taught me early on just how much I truly loved animals. I have experience not only from caring for my own pets in the past but also pet sitting for friends and family over the years. I understand how worrisome it is leaving your furry best friends behind when needing to travel and ensure you I will provide nothing but the best care and update you every step of the way. If you are a previous client and see my calendar shows as unavailable please feel free to message me - as sometimes I do block off dates of tentative plans and may in fact be available! I work remote from home M-F. Generally speaking my schedule is extremely flexible. I am home all day other than going to the occasional appointment or gym for about 1-2hrs. Weekends don’t have a schedule however I obviously will be around as needed when scheduled to care for you pets. I tend to think of animals more highly than people. I ensure their safety in any way possible from basic common sense to special requests from owners.

Sierra did a phenomenal job taking care of our cat. We booked Sierra last minute because my other sitter couldn’t do it and she replied almost immediately. Her darling daughter also helped with petting and caring for our cat. 2 for 1 service! Would definitely use her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
