“Jennifer is lovely, and my cat immediately liked her which is always a great sign. We were gone for a week, and Jennifer took such great care of him, sending plenty of pictures and cute updates during all of her visits.”

“We had such a great experience with Kathy watching our kitty Benny! She was very responsive making communication easy. She was friendly when she came to meet us prior to taking care of him. We loved the photos and updates we received. We already have her booked for the next time we are out of town!”

“Great sitter!! Pleasant. Communicative and personable. Very flexible with her schedule. Always checking in and checking out! — sent a lot of pictures. Highly recommended. Will use her again!”

“Brianna was a godsend. Not only did she accept the booking very last minute, but she also did it during hurricane Debbiy when her own place was flooded. She ended up having to take my furniture off of my balcony and bring it into my apartment and then place it back when all was said and done. The added treat was she brought along the children and it seems like both the kids and my cat benefited from the interaction. Everything that I asked to have done was done and that Left me with no worries. it was also going to be iffy that I would come back as scheduled and she was ready to step in if needed. I would definitely use Brianna again.”

“Nicole was super communicative and easy to work with. She took great care of my 2 cats and provided detailed check ins with pictures. Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter!”

About: I've taken care of dogs for the last eight years, including puppies and energetic dogs. I've got lots of toys, treats, and time to give your best friend :) and honestly I love dogs so much I would do this just for the joy of seeing dogs. I'm free every week day after 2, and all day each weekend. If boarding is needed during weekday mornings, they can be taken out at least every three hours. Otherwise, I can spend as much time with your pup as needed I usually play a lot with the pup, or take it on a walk. I love a good cuddle session, or even just hanging out together on the couch. Personally I feed my dog every morning and evening, and provide plenty of time in our fenced-in backyard to explore and run.
“Kailea took excellent care of our three doggos! We were visiting Sarasota, but will definitely contact her again if we need pet care on future visits. Thanks, Kailea!”
“Jessica was absolutely fantastic! Very attentive to my 2 cats, communicative, respectful, punctual and very sweet. I couldn't ask for a better cat carer while I'm gone to ease my anxiety of being away from my senior cats. I will definitely use her again if the need arises.”

“Tracy is top-notch. She has helped me out a number of times, is very reliable and Ginger loves her. As a cat Dad I am grateful and feel assured when I have to go out of town. Highly recommended and appreciated.”

“Emma is the BEST! She was available extremely last minute when my husband and I had to go out of town for a family emergency. She still found time in her day to make sure she did a meet and greet to meet our babies before we left. The whole time we were away she was sending us pictures and staying in communication with us so we knew our fur babies were in good hands. Leaving your pets while traveling can be stressful but Emma truly made sure we had nothing to worry about! We have a newly diagnosed diabetic cat and she made sure he got his insulin twice a day. Your pets are in great hands with Emma, and I cannot recommend her enough!”

About: I truly believe the saying that a dog is a man’s best friend. Growing up, I’ve always been surrounded by dogs, watching them grow from puppies into loyal companions. From potty training to learning tricks, playtime, and daily walks—I’ve been through it all and loved every minute of it. 🐾 One of my favorite things to do, especially here in Florida, is going on walks and soaking up the sun. I can’t imagine a better pastime than walking with these furry friends and getting both of our exercise in while enjoying the fresh air! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and I truly have built the knowledge of how to care for them and understand each dog’s unique personality.
About: Being a pet sitter is truly a dream come true. Dog lover is an understatement! I grew up with dogs of my own and have spent my whole life around dogs of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. Over the years, I’ve also helped care for neighbors’ and family members’ dogs through walks, drop-in visits, feeding, and quality time. I’m very active and love getting dogs out and moving, whether that’s neighborhood walks or exploring local favorites like the Celery Fields, Bayfront Park, or Red Bug Park. I’m happy to tailor walks and outings to each dog’s energy level, and for pups who enjoy extra playtime, I also have access to my family’s fully fenced backyard for supervised fun. I’ll return your dog like they just got back from vacation: happy, relaxed, and tired. 🐾🌴🦮 I’m currently available when you need me and would be happy to be flexible with your schedule! I hope to fill my schedule with your fur babies! 🥰 When caring for pets in their home or mine, I do my best to keep their routine consistent so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I always make sure doors and gates are secure, double-check food and water, and give them lots of attention and love. I respect your home and your pet’s space, and I’m happy to follow any specific instructions or routines that help your pet feel at ease.
“This has been a wonderful experience for both Mishu and I. Lisa and her daughter Aeryin could not have been more attentive to all of my cat’s needs. I was sent daily updates with pictures, which I loved. Mishu got to try new activities and even bonded with the other animals at Lisa’s house. My cat came home looking calm and happy! I’m so pleased with this experience and we would definitely love to repeat it. I recommend Lisa and Matthew as excellent and responsible pet sitters.”

About: I have experience with dogs and cats and would love to walk and or play with your sweet pet. Over the years my husband and I have fostered Golden Retrievers and helped place them with new forever homes and are failed fosters ourselves lucky for us;) If your dog prefers to sit in the sun after a walk, or to get some belly rubs and play fetch I know we’ll have a great time no matter what they choose. It can be difficult to be away from our fur babies so my goal is to give them a great visit! Pets truly are some of our best friends. On a personal note our most recent dog Buddy passed away over the summer, so I’m in need of more animals friends to walk with;) Let me know if you have any questions. I am a stay at home mom and have availability M-F 9-2:00pm however can be flexible following those hours occasionally and for some possible weekend help here and there. Try me out for your pets, no reviews yet but I used to do this pet care work years ago as well as babysitting in my old neighborhood in a different city in Florida and loved it and the people I met along the way. I’m currently available to walk between 9-2:00pm M-F. I can do anything between a 15-60minutes per visit and can visit multiple times during the day if needed. The rate varies depending on the need.) I provide walking service or drop in during the day. We can go do a walk, run around and play ball in the backyard if you have one…really up to you what you may need for your pet. This includes giving your pet a treat, some petting/brushing and fresh water refill. If you have special requests just let me know.
About: Growing up, I always had pets: dogs, cats, hamsters, mice, fish, guinea pigs, and birds. I loved animals, and I still do. My home is very clean, not just for myself but for them as well. Pets have always been a soft spot for me, and I make time for them every day. I can’t remember a time without furry friends in my home! I’m observant and attentive to every pet’s personality. I make sure they feel comfortable in their favorite spots, whether it’s their bed or a special corner in your home. I follow all instructions carefully from meals and treats to medications and routines to give your pet the care they deserve.
“Kim is fantastic. We will definitely be requesting her in the future for our pet sitting needs- Foofs (our cat) was very comfortable with her and we felt safe having her look after him. 10/10 recommend”

“Danielle has been doing weekly drop-in visits with my dog Toby for almost a year now. She has been a pleasure to work with and someone I can always count on. She communicates promptly, is very friendly, and gives constant updates on how the visit went. I highly recommend trusting Danielle with the care of your pets.”

Sarasota Springs cat parents share their Rover experiences
Meara was absolutely amazing! I have a lot of cats that are high maintenance and she took great care of them. She sent lots of photos and the cats always looked happy in them. We even have 1 cat that needs medicinal cream rubbed on her ear every night and Meara didn't miss a day. I would absolutely recommend her!
