“I was pretty nervous about boarding Indie in general - he's a big Lab Retreiver at 96lb, well, probably over 100lb by now, he's got a huge intimidating bark and energy that goes on and on and on....! He is an absolute sweetheart tho and I knew he would have everyone fall in love with him. From the very moment I spoke with Amy I could tell she was the one, I even cancelled other appointments before we did the house visit. Amy was always quick to respond, committed to Indie's comfort and my reassurance and both Amy and her family were warm and kind. The visit was great, Indie and Amy's dog, Walnut clicked immediately, I told everyone that Indie had found his long lost brother! Everything felt just like my own home. I wasn't wrong, Amy and her wonderful family took 'Indie' into their home like he was family. Indie got on fabulously with her all dogs right from the start and integrated himself easily. I know he made a new best friend in Amy's son too, which was a great comfort to my own son. Throughout his stay Amy texted me every day with updates including adventures and photos. I absolutely feel that Indie was on a literal vacation, and now that we are home I can see how much he misses them. In fact, we're going to do play dates between now and our next trip away. This was the first time I've used Dog Vacay, and met Amy via this site. There is no looking back, Amy and her family are awesome. I have peace of mind, and I'm over the moon that Indie has a vacation home now :)”

About: I have been a pet sitter in my home for 25 years and have had dogs since I was 10 years old. I accept all breeds as all dogs are the same in my eyes. I trained all of my own dogs as well as helped friends and neighbors with their own animals. It is a daunting task trying to find that reliable special someone you can trust your pet with. You want to make sure they are not stressed out because you are gone. I find that having a pet myself helps them forget about your being absent. They have an instant friend to play and bond with. So if you want someone who will love and care for your pet while your away Puppyboysmom is the place to stay. My husband Keith is also a dog lover and enjoys all the pups we have in our care. He helps out with all pups. Prefer dogs over 2 years old as Tahoe is a senior dog. I also require a meet and greet to ensure both pups are happy. Pick up or drop off additional 25.00 for each way. I work from home and am not gone more than a 5 hours at a time. My husband is a dog lover as well and is also home with me to help care for pups. He and I are a team with the care for all guest pups. I have a yard and am on a cul de sac. Please bring dog crate for your pups stay so they have a piece of their home with them. For many pups they feel this is their safe place.
