3/15/26 UPDATE: we just afopted a 4 month old black lab puppy! I have been a pet sitter in my home for 30 years and have had dogs since I was 1 year old. I accept all breeds as all dogs are the same in my eyes. I trained all of my own dogs as well as helped friends and neighbors with their own animals. It is a daunting task trying to find that reliable special someone you can trust your pet with. You want to make sure they are not stressed out because you are gone. I find that having a pet myself helps them forget about your being absent. They have an instant friend to play and bond with. So if you want someone who will love and care for your pet while your away Puppyboysmom is the place to stay. My husband Keith is also a dog lover and enjoys all the pups we have in our care. He helps out with all pups. Prefer dogs over 2 years old as Tahoe is a senior dog. I also require a meet and greet to ensure both pups are happy. Pick up or drop off additional 25.00 for each way.

My pup spent 9 nights with Tina. It's the longest he's been away from me but I knew he would be fine when Tina walked him out to say goodbye to me and he happily turned and walked back inside with her. She was in contact every day sharing photos, videos, and messages. I could see he was well loved and happy, which was very comforting for me. I will definitely use her again!

Schedule
I work from home most of the time i do have a part time job and am not gone more than a 5 hours at a time. My husband is a dog lover as well and is also home with me to help care for pups. He and I are a team with the care for all guest pups.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a yard and am on a cul de sac. Please bring dog crate if you have one for your pups stay so they have a piece of their home with them. For many pups they feel this is their safe place.
Pets
A typical day
Daily walk of 1 mile a day. If temperatures exceed 75-80 degrees we walk early AM or late afternoon when temperatures are cooler. No need to bring toys as we have a basket full just waiting to be played with.
