“I can’t thank Sofia enough for being so flexible and accommodating. My plans changed unexpectedly, and I had to adjust the schedule for her visits, but she adapted without any issues and was incredibly helpful every step of the way. She kept me updated on my dog the entire time with photos and detailed notes, which made me feel so relieved and at ease. Since it was my first time using Rover, I was a little nervous, but Sofia made the whole experience wonderful. I honestly recommend her 100%! She is responsible, reliable, and truly committed to the pets she cares for. I will definitely book with her again! Thanks so much 💙”

About: I've had pets in my home as long as can remember, I love animals. I love going on walks, playing ball or tug of war, or just a belly rub and snuggle. I treat every pet as if it were my own and enjoy figuring out what makes them tick. Your pet's peace of mind and happiness are always a priority. I would gladly provide updates and photos while you are away, rest assured they are in good hands. I am currently working part time and enjoy a flexible schedule. I know that we can find a schedule that works for all of us. I am an empty nester with a longtime boyfriend; we have been in Florida for almost two years and have recently settled in Sarasota. I have enjoyed getting to know different parts of the state and look forward to more exploring.
About: Taking care of animals isn’t just a job to me, it’s a hobby! Giving them the proper care they need brings me happiness everyday! I’ve had animals since I was 5 years old, and I’ve learned so much as a I got older. Making sure they get enough exercise by going on long walks, and giving them love and attention is my main priority! I will love your fur babies like my own and give them the best care they need. I currently work a few days a week in a resturant,so depending on when you need me, and how long you need me to stay, we can work with anything you need! In your home I’ll first make sure your fur baby trusts me and gets used to me as I know I’m a new person in their home. I’ll make sure they’re properly fed with your schedule, bathe them if need be, taking them on walks every couple of hours, and giving them one on one attention. Their safety and health is also one of my main priorities. If I feel in any way they are in danger, I will take any necessary actions to make sure they are safe and well.

“Nicole is a very caring person. She took care of my two cats like her own. She sent me the details of her daily visit to them. She also sent me the pictures of them. This is my first time using Rover so I was kind of nervous about it but she exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend her. Nicole is the best sitter! Thank you so much!!”

“Sky has been really great with my baby Jerry! I love my dog so much and I can tell she truly cares about him and animals. She is super responsive and dependable. I had an unexpectedly long day at work this week and she was able to come twice a day on short notice. Thank you so much Sky! 🫶🏻”

“I highly recommend Christina for her exceptional care and attention to detail. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. My cat was calm and well cared for when I returned. Everything was neat and orderly in my house. She brought all my mail and packages inside as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again!”

“She was prompt and super kind! Quick response time. One of the days she came to visit our pet, the rover app was down, so she went out of her way to check in & send pictures through text. Awesome experience!”

About: I am conscientious, non-smoking, loving, caring, and trustworthy professional who understands the dedication and commitment required to look after your fur baby/babies. I have owned pets for more than 20 years and they all have always been spoiled rotten :). Growing up with pets and having my own as well, I became familiar with many pet conditions. If your furry baby has any medical needs I will assist in every way possible to make him/her comfortable. After my fur-baby passed away, I have chosen to fill the void of having a pet by looking after other people’s pets. While you are away, I will literally adopt your pet for the time it is with me and will treat him/her exactly as I would if it were my own. Your baby/babies will have fun with me and my son who loves animals more than anyone I’ve ever met (including critters and reptiles which are his specialty). Your baby/babies can watch TV with with us, sleep in bed or investigate things in and outside the house when out walking. I know that each pet has their own personality and style. I will adapt to exactly what your pet needs. My aim is to make your furry baby happy and provide the attention he or she ever wants and needs! I am a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker. Although I have to leave for house showings from time to time, your fur puppy will not be left home alone the whole time while I am gone. My 18 year old son will walk the pups to make sure they are not alone for long. I live in a townhouse with lots of trails around. I enjoy walking, so frequent nature walks will be a part of the routine. I have a very large back patio the dogs like to go on and absorb the sun. I always follow the same routine you do as I want your baby to feel at home.

“This time was the first time that I had met Tallie, but I felt very comfortable with her from the very beginning. She was wonderful with my cats, showing true affection and care for them. But most of all, she went above and beyond when The hurricane threatened Sarasota and I was out of the country. She took care of my cats, and even prepared my house for the storm. She is an amazing lady and I will have her sit for my cats any time with great confidence.”

Nicole is all you can ask for in regards to furry kiddos. She follows all the rules of the house and cats despite how crazy and outside of the box they are…. Caroline took great care of my very old kitty, Cody. She kept me up to date with notes and pictures which eased my worry, as this was her first time taking care of him. Cody was happy to see her and I could tell that he was very relaxed by her twice daily visits. We will definitely use Caroline again when the need arises.

First time using the services of Rover and have to say will not be the last. Isabelle did a fantastic and professional job. She was very punctual, communicative and did a tremendous job taking care of our 5 pets. Will definitely use her services again in the future and will recommend her to others.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
