“Came home and found my cats happy and well-fed. House and litterbox were in great shape. When Rebeca came over to return the key, both of my cats ran over to greet her like she was a long-lost friend! I will definitely book her for petsitting services again.”

“Fantastic sitter! She did great with our two cats making sure they had everything they need and a lot of love. Even took on feeding my fish when I forgot to mention that as part of the visits. Will be hiring again for sure!”

“The very best! Easy to communicate with and responds quickly. Follows all directions for care and is very nice (to me and my cat!) Never have to worry when I have Kimberly booked.”

About: I am conscientious, non-smoking, loving, caring, and trustworthy professional who understands the dedication and commitment required to look after your fur baby/babies. I have owned pets for more than 20 years and they all have always been spoiled rotten :). Growing up with pets and having my own as well, I became familiar with many pet conditions. If your furry baby has any medical needs I will assist in every way possible to make him/her comfortable. After my fur-baby passed away, I have chosen to fill the void of having a pet by looking after other people’s pets. While you are away, I will literally adopt your pet for the time it is with me and will treat him/her exactly as I would if it were my own. Your baby/babies will have fun with me and my son who loves animals more than anyone I’ve ever met (including critters and reptiles which are his specialty). Your baby/babies can watch TV with with us, sleep in bed or investigate things in and outside the house when out walking. I know that each pet has their own personality and style. I will adapt to exactly what your pet needs. My aim is to make your furry baby happy and provide the attention he or she ever wants and needs! I am a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker. Although I have to leave for house showings from time to time, your fur puppy will not be left home alone the whole time while I am gone. My 18 year old son will walk the pups to make sure they are not alone for long. I live in a townhouse with lots of trails around. I enjoy walking, so frequent nature walks will be a part of the routine. I have a very large back patio the dogs like to go on and absorb the sun. I always follow the same routine you do as I want your baby to feel at home.
“I’m so grateful for Coral’s careful and loving attention to my two kitties - I felt assured they were in great hands when I went out of town for the first time ever since adopting them. Loved the pictures and the updates.”

About: For starters, I should clarify that I'm only here until the end of February. I've had pets most of my life (dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits), and have had many roommates that had pets. I've had a life-long love of animals of all kinds. Probably because I'm a natural caregiver. I was a Nursing Assistant for over 20 years, and of all the jobs I've had in my life, caring for others, human or not, have been the most rewarding. I feel that helping others helps ME even more than the person or animal for whom I'm caring. Caring for others, ESPECIALLY animals, is so therapeutic for me. My spirits are lifted the second I even SEE an animal, no matter what kind. I hope you'll entrust the health, safety, and happiness of your babies to me! I'm currently not working, so my schedule is very flexible. I have most weekends and holidays free. I also have no children to care for. I am unable to care for animals in my home, as it's not allowed. When caring for animals in your home, I would make sure all phone numbers are written down, including any allergies your pet may have. I would verify that all doors, windows, and fences are secured, as well as cupboards with any harmful chemicals. I would need to know what to do if they experience anxiety when there's thunder and/or other sounds to which they are sensitive. There's no such thing as TOO much information when it comes to your furry family members!

“Tallie was amazing, would highly recommend!! She took wonderful care of my calico kitty with drop-in visits while I was out of town. Loved all the updates and pictures she sent!! Hurricane Milton hit while I was gone and Tallie made sure to check on Leaf before and after the storm to make sure she was okay and take care of her. She gave me updates on my apartment too and helped with storm prep, she really went above and beyond! So grateful for her help!”

About: I have provided pet care services to dogs and cats of all ages and needs. From walking the neighbors dogs to watching their cats at night, I am ready for whatever care your animal needs. I am also equipped from the personal care of the dogs and cats my family and I rescued from baby to senior. I can’t wait to meet your pets and make them feel at home! I generally work 9-6 weekdays but my schedule fluctuates week to week and is flexible on weekends. I am happy to provide care before and after my work day. Let’s find a time! I will provide a safe environment in the home for the pets maintaining whatever feeding and bathroom schedule they are on. I love playing with animals and just keeping them company :).
About: I grew up in Michigan always being around animals of all kinds. I was a part of 4-H for 12 years and have owned and taken care of horses since I was practically 5 years old competing in various equine competitions. My family always had indoor-outdoor cats that I loved dearly and my grandma owned a farm that I helped run. I have dog sat for several neighbors throughout my life since I was never fortunate enough to have one of my own. Luckily now I am an aunt to my brother's dog Odin who I have cared for. Today I reside in Florida with my furry friend Kaiah who is a beautiful long-haired cat that is very outgoing and spoiled. She loves car rides and goes everywhere with me. She even has a special bowl for her favorite treats. The reason why I made a rover is because I know what it is like to worry about the care of my pets while I am away! It breaks my heart that I could not bring my horse with me to Florida however I know my mom loves him and that he is getting the attention he needs. I want to be a motherly figure in your pet's life and provide comfort and quality time while also making sure they have been cleaned up after. Dogs, Cats, and Horses are my specialty. I enjoy fitness and spending time outdoors so if you are looking for someone to stop by and walk your dog, or play with your cat or exercise, brush and feed your horse please do not hesitate to contact me. I currently have a relaxed full time job where I can work from the comfort of my home, in my office, or anywhere with WIFI. I travel occasionally for work but am flexible if booked in advance. I think cleanliness is important! no one wants to come home to a stinky litter box and or a pile of poop. I think its important to make sure that dogs are being walked until they have went to the bathroom and that litter boxes are being cleaned out daily. Secondly, I think its important to make sure water is fresh and food is provided on a schedule or in my case the cat food bowl is always full (I let my cat eat whenever she is hungry and she is very healthy). Lastly and most importantly no matter what animal it is they need play time and attention weather it be a walk or a playing fetch at the park or playing with your cats favorite wand toy. Cleanliness Nutrition and Love !
“My new go-to cat sitter, for sure. Kim did a wonderful job!!! My two kitties were so happy the whole trip and when I got home. It left me worry free while on vacation. Kim was great about sending photos and detailed updates. She even treated the kitties to some extra toys. I was more than satisfied and felt very comfortable with her in my home. Kim is a true cat mama, as she has many of her own. ???”

“Bailey is wonderful! She is very knowledgeable about cats and had no problems giving our elderly cat his meds while we were gone. We can tell he felt very comfortable with her. She even took him on a walk outside on his leash! Bailey is very communicative and sent us so many great pictures- we were so relieved to have her there and knew he was in good hands. We will definitely re-book her!”

“This was the first time I used Sky to house and cat sit for me and I am very pleased. First of all, she came to my house to meet us and to discuss my cat's daily routine. She was very professional and attentive, and also gentle when approaching my cat. While I was away, Sky sent me a photo of my cat every day, along with a description of what they did that day, both of which I really appreciated. When I came home, I found everything very clean and in good order, including the litterbox and all of her dishes washed and ready for use. My bed was also freshly made, another very kind thing to do for me! I highly recommend using Sky as a pet sitter and a house sitter, you will be happy you did!”

North Sarasota cat parents share their Rover experiences
First time using the services of Rover and have to say will not be the last. Isabelle did a fantastic and professional job. She was very punctual, communicative and did a tremendous job taking care of our 5 pets. Will definitely use her services again in the future and will recommend her to others.

I booked Gina VERY last minute for two weeks to feed and visit my 3 cats plus my daughter's cat. We did two meets before and after the first, I completely felt great vibes. I have one cat, Oliver that never comes out for anyone other than us. I got a picture of him on I think her second visit! She was wonderful about sending pics and updates. She let them out on my lanai to get some fresh air on her visits. Really can't say enough good things about her. Will definitely be booking her for future visits and house stays next time!
