He enjoyed time with other smaller dogs, lots of time outdoors as well, and was hand fed for each meal- typical for this breed. 😊 Leslie provides many photos along with a summary of morning and evening daily activities. Overall she is a terrific sitter, with a nice home environment for my spaniel. It’s so nice to have peace of mind when you can trust the person who is caring for your dog.”

About: I grew up in Michigan always being around animals of all kinds. I was a part of 4-H for 12 years and have owned and taken care of horses since I was practically 5 years old competing in various equine competitions. My family always had indoor-outdoor cats that I loved dearly and my grandma owned a farm that I helped run. I have dog sat for several neighbors throughout my life since I was never fortunate enough to have one of my own. Luckily now I am an aunt to my brother's dog Odin who I have cared for. Today I reside in Florida with my furry friend Kaiah who is a beautiful long-haired cat that is very outgoing and spoiled. She loves car rides and goes everywhere with me. She even has a special bowl for her favorite treats. The reason why I made a rover is because I know what it is like to worry about the care of my pets while I am away! It breaks my heart that I could not bring my horse with me to Florida however I know my mom loves him and that he is getting the attention he needs. I want to be a motherly figure in your pet's life and provide comfort and quality time while also making sure they have been cleaned up after. Dogs, Cats, and Horses are my specialty. I enjoy fitness and spending time outdoors so if you are looking for someone to stop by and walk your dog, or play with your cat or exercise, brush and feed your horse please do not hesitate to contact me. I currently have a relaxed full time job where I can work from the comfort of my home, in my office, or anywhere with WIFI. I travel occasionally for work but am flexible if booked in advance. I think cleanliness is important! no one wants to come home to a stinky litter box and or a pile of poop. I think its important to make sure that dogs are being walked until they have went to the bathroom and that litter boxes are being cleaned out daily. Secondly, I think its important to make sure water is fresh and food is provided on a schedule or in my case the cat food bowl is always full (I let my cat eat whenever she is hungry and she is very healthy). Lastly and most importantly no matter what animal it is they need play time and attention weather it be a walk or a playing fetch at the park or playing with your cats favorite wand toy. From coaxing Gracie out from under the bed on the first day to getting her to walk over 2 miles by the end of the week. He would also spend time after each walk to bond with her. His love of animals really shows in the care he provided my dog. Seth also makes full use of the Rover app to communicate start and stop times and the route they took. I currently have Bo, a senior pitbull, who is super chill and has no problems with other dogs. I also recently got a Belgian Malinois puppy named Darth Vader! Mercury, my brother’s 6 year old Australian Cattle dog, loves to play and I take care of him on occasion. We have a large patio and pool that dogs can enjoy laying in the sun or swimming! I also have a super walk able neighborhood, with a walking trail that is off the pavement. Additionally, I do enjoy taking dogs in the car for walks in new locations or trips to the dog beach/park!

Taking her to Leslie, she was able to socialize with not just her two dogs but with tortoises, a parrot, and chickens! While I’m newer to professional pet sitting, I have real-life experience caring for my own animals and helping friends and family with theirs. Because of my flexible schedule, your pet won’t be left alone for long periods and will receive consistent care and attention. I have a fully fenced backyard with grass for safe outdoor play and live within walking distance of a dog park for extra exercise (with owner approval). Inside my home, pets are supervised and kept in a calm, clean environment. I can easily follow specific feeding schedules, crate routines, medication instructions, or litter box preferences. For cats, I ensure litter boxes stay clean, provide enrichment and playtime, and respect their space if they prefer quiet companionship.
