Safety, trust & environment
Because I have two cats and a dog of my own, I would prefer to care for your pets at your home. Safety is top on the list for me and I want you to rest assured that your pet’s wellbeing and safety are my number one priorities.
Information Caroline T. would like to know about your pet
Medical concerns, food allergies, behavioral issues, temperament, and your pet’s favorite activity will help me to be the best pet sitter for them (and for you!)
A typical day
For dogs: A typical day is completely dependent on the dog, their energy level, and the weather of course. I love going to the park, walking around, going to the water for some fun, or hanging out at the house and playing. I am not comfortable spending extended periods outside with your pup in the hotter months due to the risk of heat exhaustion and/or stroke, therefore, I assess the day as it comes! But we will have fun regardless. For cats: I love engaging with cats in play, hide and seek, and just loving on them (if that’s what they prefer). Cats and dogs are both second nature to me, I adapt to understand them and accommodate their personalities and needs.

Emergency Vet Tech / Biologist
Pet care experience
I love nothing more than caring for animals of all species! I am a sea turtle biologist with a bachelor’s degree in biology with a focus on environmental studies from Florida Atlantic University and an emergency medicine veterinary technician. I have been a biologist for the last 10+ years. I’ve worked at a Fortune 100 company, at a government entity, as well as a well known non-profit organization. I was an emergency veterinary technician at a 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic from 2013 to 2015 and 2019 to 2021 and a sea turtle veterinary technician from 2010 to 2013. Over the years, I’ve always been the “go-to” person for family and friends who need care for the pets. All of these experiences have helped shape me to be who I am today and, I feel, have made me a great caretaker for pets as well as equipped me with the tools needed to operate my own business with high professional standards. We moved to Sarasota in late 2021 (my husband, Brad, our dog and two cats, and me) for my husband’s business in home remodeling. I decided to change things up for myself and become a full time caretaker for pets, which has been such a great adventure! I grew up with English Bulldogs most of my life and Brad and I had one as well, who blessed us with his perfection for nearly 11 years. I am well equipped to handle the more high-maintenance breeds (i.e.: bulldogs) as well as special needs, seniors, puppies, large and small pets, cats, and kittens. As a pet owner myself, I understand how hard it can be to trust someone with their well-being while away. As an emergency veterinary technician, I know the signs to look for when it comes to illness and/or injury, so you can rest assured that your pet is in good hands. I am comfortable giving oral medications as well as injectable, eye, and ear medications to your pets. Communication is key for me! Throughout my time caring for your pets, I will send you photos and update you daily. **my pricing reflects my professional and personal experience in animal care
Reviews

Caroline was the best cat sitter for our elderly cat!! She was so responsive, kind, and sent constant updates throughout the day. I could tell from the photos that our cat, who is normally pretty shy, was super thrilled to see her. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Caroline was very reliable and flexible and took great care of our Lucy!
Thank you for coming through last minute. 1st time using this app. Really appreciate it!

Thank you Caroline for all you do for us and our furball family! You are the best!!!
