About: Kitties are my jam - I've had and taken care of cats for most of my life, including a handsome tuxedo kitty that lived to be 19 years old! Such curious creatures, I enjoy getting to know their individual personalities and preferences to make them feel safe and cared for while their parents are away. As a cat mom myself, I like to read/listen about cat psychology, behavior, and even nutrition to be able to help them live their best life possible since they have given mine so much joy. One of my current girls has no teeth (as a result of caudal stomatitis) and a very sensitive stomach - it took some trial and error but seeing her thrive now was well worth it. I've gotten pretty good at clipping nails and giving topical/oral meds and am familiar with cleaning up after accidents. I've been a pet owner since I was 4 and had many animals at one point or abother: cats, rats, mice, horse, lizards, snake, guinea pig, fish from scales to fluff I love them all. I teach English online so I work from home, I would be available to your pet almost constantly. Feeding schedule can easily be followed and walking/ playtime will be regular occurances. Want to stay busy when I am in town and love animals! I can do whatever is needed. I have a fenced in yard and crate of my own. I only crate mine now when needed but that is not often as he is older. I only have one of my dogs with me at my home as my other dog is with my mother in my home town.
About: I’ve cared for dogs consistently for neighbors since I was growing up, which gave me hands-on experience with different breeds, personalities, and routines. Last summer, I also worked at Groomerie as a dog bather, where I learned how to safely handle dogs, read body language, keep pets calm, and make sure they felt comfortable during care.
