“Taylor did very well with Teddy. He is a little skittish, but she was able to get him to trust her. I will use Taylor again when I have the opportunity to go out to dinner or to a ball game. She was very attentive to the dog and played with him to make him feel more comfortable.”

“Worked good with my schedule being midnights. Made sure she went potty and checked her food before she left for the night. Took pictures of the walk. Very easy to coordinate with Carolina”

“Jewels was wonderful. She did a meet and greet prior to the actual dog walking appointment. That really impressed me. She also faced numerous challenges with my condo complex and access. But she overcame them with no problems. She also kept me informed about everything with my dog. Cant say enough good about her. I highly recommend Jewel.”

About: I’m a counselor during the school year and have side jobs to supplement my income. Kids and animals love me as I love them even more! ;) For the pets that I fall in love with, I will maintain those services. I have a therapy dog that works along side me. I’ve given medicine, bathe, love on them and will be their fill in mommy/daddy until you return. ;) I’m also open to discussing the costs. ***Currently I don’t have any pets of my own so I have a lot of flexibility. The therapy dog is a volunteer. I have a lot of flexibility as this is my only job at the moment. I am off during the summers so I enjoy working with animals. During the school year I’m a school counselor. I have flexibility with the job as I’m able to leave for a lunch break/check on your pup. Also, my counselor hours are 8:15-3:30. I am in early and off early to be able to check on your animals. *** I will be in town for the holidays :) I feed them, provide love, walks, and play with them. I am happy to have your kennel here for them if it helps them feel more comfortable. That is not a requirement though. I prefer going to your home only because the animals tend to do better in their own house.

“Ashton was so nice and patient with my dog, he is very anxious and not always the friendliest but she did a great job with Apollo, and Apollo seemed to also be very confortable around her, we will continue to use her services as we were very pleased!!!😄”

I am currently working full time but I am available most late afternoons and evenings, including the weekend! I am very trustworthy and have excellent time management skills. Communication in advance is key and I respond quickly to messages. My service will focus mostly on walking your dogs since the condo I live in doesn’t allow me to board pets with me, unfortunately. But I look forward to meeting and caring for your dogs on their daily walks!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
