She is reliable, punctual, communicative, and always provides great updates and photos that give me peace of mind while I’m away. About: Hi! My name is Amanda! My family and I have been. On Rover for over 3 years now. We currently both work outside of the home full time, with flexible schedules. We have four kids (16,15,13,8) who love dogs and help us a ton! They are all receptive to dogs and know when to leave them be due to the dog being nervous or to cuddle them when they are comfortable. We have a large fenced in yard and have experience with giving medication as well. We look forward for the chance to care for your pets while you are gone! My job is flexible. I work close to home full time with frequent opportunities for breaks, so I am available during a wide variety of times needed. While boarding I have opportunity for a number of walks a day. I have a fenced in yard. If I care for multiple dogs, I introduce them slowly, and always feed separately, to avoid any issues. There is opportunity for blended play/snuggles as well as 1:1.
About: I have always been an animal lover. Growing up, I always had at least two dogs in the house with me. My parents always instilled never ending love for the family pets into me and nothing make me more comfortable than a furry friend by my side. I also spent some time working for a dog boarding facility in my hometown of Wichita, Kansas. While loving every minute of it, I would like to pursue that feeling again by working for Rover and taking excellent care of your furry friend. I work full-time at a local high school as a coach. My schedule is open in various slots in the day for dog care, and my job allows me to take care of any tasks I need to throughout the day as long as my work is not affected. I am usually off work by 5:30 pm and live just minutes away from work. I also do not work on weekends, so those days are full of opportunity. In your home, I will make sure the pets are safe and getting as much love, attention, and playtime as they deserve! When on walks, I will ensure they are a safe distance from vehicles and that they are cleaned up after.

About: Since I can remember as a little girl, I’ve always had a passion & drive to take care of animals and really interact & get to know them. Each has their own personality that are just so fun to explore. From as small as anoles and 3 week old kittens, up to as big as Great Danes & large parrots, I’ve cared for everything and I love getting to know each pet! Looking to try to get into this full time, but anything dealing with animals is my focus! My schedule is very open right now and i’m open to anytimes! I will definitely get to know your pet first, go slow with them and just build a positive, playful rapport with them so they truly get to trust me. Anything you or your pet needs, please let me know and I definitely am so willing to make it happen! I care that your pet is comfortable and happy with me!!
About: Our furry friends aren’t just pets, they are family! I I grew up with dogs and have always loved watching our family and friends’ furry animals when they were away. I know every pet is different and has different needs and I am ready to take anything on. The days will be tailored to your pet and if your pet loves to have fun, we will have lots of fun! If they prefer to lounge around, we will take the day easy. I can’t wait to meet you and your best friend! I work from home so I am available all throughout the day to care for your pet! Your pet comes first for us, and they will not be left alone for more than 1-2 hrs if a grocery store run or errand is needed. Besides that though, we are always ready to have fun with our pup and can’t wait to have your furry friend join in on the fun! My husband and I have a 3 year old male English Mastiff named Tank! We have a small side yard for quick potty breaks, but we also have a lovely neighborhood to walk around in that has causeway access at the end that is pet friendly and a park just down the road that we frequent daily.

About: I have been pet sitting for 7 years now and worked with a wide array of animals. I have watched Dobermans, elderly dogs, newborns, hyper active, shy, and more ! If it’s a type of pet I’ve definitely worked with it before! I specialize in positive behavior training with an emphasis on calm, reaffirming words. I’d love to come meet your lil furballs!! I am currently completely free at all hours of the day so my day would be centered around your pet! I am able to drive to see your furry friend whenever needed. I am a big advocate for animal safety and care. Because of my extensive experience in working/living with animals I take notice of their mood and body language to know what they need best at all moments.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Holmes Beach
My puppy, Miss Daisy, met Jennifer today. She has separation anxiety and is only 10 months old. I had no worries leaving my home and found her in great spirits upon my return. She paid extra attention to her with a couple of walks and lots of cuddling, too. Thanks, Jennifer, you will hear from me soon!

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! She truly made us feel like Lyla was in the best hands while we were away. From the very start, it was clear she cared deeply about making Lyla feel safe and comfortable — even going above and beyond by spending extra time with her during a thunderstorm to make sure she wasn’t scared. She kept us updated with frequent photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. Lyla looked happy and relaxed in every update, and it was clear she was being loved and well cared for. We would absolutely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, responsible, and compassionate sitter. Andrea & Eric

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
