About: I have been around animals my whole life, including taking care of my family dog into his old age for 10 years. I have also taken care of my cat for multiple years, and have pet-sat for others many times including overnight stays. I have a lot of free time, and pet care is something that interests me. This leaves me with a lot of time to spend with your pet to make sure they receive the care they need. I am able to attune to your pet's schedule for care, no matter how complicated it is. I have taken care of pets with complicated regimens before, and it is not a problem.
“Second time booking Amanda. This time for drop in visits while we were out all day. Everything went great! I will definitely continue to use Amanda’s services in the future.”

About: I offer a lifetime of hands-on experience and five years of professional industry training to ensure your pet is in the best possible hands. From my childhood of caring for farm animals, to my professional background in shelter work and doggy daycare environments, I’ve seen it all - trust me! Whether your dog is a tiny puppy or a larger breed, I treat every animal with the same devotion I show my own dog. I’m committed to providing a reliable, loving service that gives you total peace of mind while you're away. Animal care is a central pillar of my daily life. The very first thing on my mind when I wake up is my own dog, Meadow. When you book with me, I bring that exact same devotion to your pets. Working a part-time schedule gives me the flexibility to be fully present, ensuring your dog gets the consistent routine, safety protocols, and dedicated attention they deserve. I am available anytime after 8:30am Mon-Thur. I’m dedicated to keeping your pet happy and on their usual schedule! Whether in my home or yours, I will focus on following their exact feeding and exercise routines to make sure they feel safe and content. You can expect plenty of daily photo updates so you’ll always know your furbaby is having a great time while you're away.

“This was the first time I ever left my dog for an extended period of time with other than family. Carrie was excellent with my senior large fur baby. Who can also be stubborn. There is no doubt that she is an experienced professional working with animals as well as customers. Carrie was always timely neat, and above all caring. I looked forward to the daily report card and pictures. Would not hesitate leaving my Leo again in her caring capable hands.”

“Our two boys loved their drop-in visits with Kayla! She provided great details about her time with them on their Rover card, and they both were very content and relaxed when I got home from work each day. We’re looking forward to having her back soon!”
About: I love animals and have been caring for them since I can remember. Whether it be my own pets, volunteering, or as a job. I have taken the time to learn about the mannerisms and needs of many pets, cats and dogs in particular. I am comfortable accommodating medical issues and more challenging personalities. I strive to be thorough and responsible with my care, not only for your satisfaction, but because I want your babies to be as comfortable as possible! I have ample time throughout the week to dedicate to sitting though it will change periodically due to potential work schedule changes or school or personal plans My care will vary depending on your wishes and the personality of your pets! In general, I prefer to clean the litter box periodically throughout the day (for dogs bathroom breaks every two hours or less is optimal), as well as replace their water 2-3 times. I believe intellectual stimulation everyday is important via playing or other new experiences. I also own adjustable harnesses for supervised outdoors time so long as that is something you’re comfortable with.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of different breeds and temperaments. I’ve had my own American Cocker Spaniel and also grew up with a Boxer, so I’m comfortable with both gentle companion dogs and more energetic breeds. I also have a grooming certificate and worked as a dog bather in Virginia for several months, where I gained practical experience handling dogs, keeping them calm during grooming, and ensuring their comfort and safety. In addition, I volunteered at dog adoption events, helping care for dogs in new and sometimes stressful environments. This experience taught me how to read dog behavior, build trust quickly, and support dogs as they adjust. I am patient, attentive, and always adjust my approach to each dog’s personality to make them feel safe and cared for. I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive pet care. I can easily fit dog walks, playtime, and visits into my daily routine, and I make sure each pet gets the time and attention they need. I’m also very comfortable maintaining a cat’s routine — including feeding, litter care, playtime, and quiet companionship. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes, where pets feel most comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning for cats, walks for dogs, and playtime or companionship based on their needs. I always take time to build trust with each pet, especially shy or sensitive ones, and I adjust my approach to match their personality. My goal is to keep them calm, safe, and cared for while their owners are away.
About: There is no dog or cat, in my care, that I won't go the extra mile to keep safe. I have trained my own pets, currently my dog (Brooklyn, an English Cream Golden Retriever) will bring the mail back to the house, she will sit, she will wait, she will stay, she will go, she will lay, she will roll over, she will swim too .... all on command. My cats (both mixed breeds) love their special attention and actually come when called by name. I recommend you challenge me - and see how much love I share with your pets. One thing I don't do is get angry with any pets and I always show love, compassion and kindness to pets in my care. I am certain that you will be happy with me caring for your precious pets. First priority are always the pets. I have and protect my pets from outside threats and have nothing around the yard that could harm them. My yard is fully fenced and easy for dogs to run, fetch, play. I will take care of your pet, as if it was my pet. And I always allow the pets to sleep on our king bed if they want to.

“Averi was super sweet to our dogs! They were timid at first because I had never left them with anyone but family. She spent time getting to know our boys, and was super patient with them. Averi kept me updated and sent pics to assure me that they were doing well! I will absolutely use Averi in the future!”

South Venice dog parents share their Rover experiences
We are so grateful to have found Nichole. Our two Cairn Terrier brothers like being home and we prefer having them there, especially compared to the stress and expense of taking them to a kennel. We had a great meet & greet with Nichole and our pups took to her immediately. This was a difficult trip for us (mom’s funeral), and getting updates and photos from Nichole has been very comforting. Her enthusiasm and professionalism have helped make this trip so much better and opened the door for future travels knowing our dogs are very well cared for. Thank you, Nichole, for being excellent.

Maria was wonderful! Extremely attentive to the crew, and she communicated throughout which helped make my time away with my family very relaxing. Her personality is positive and upbeat, and she's very conscientious. She'll be my 1st choice going forward when I need a pet caregiver. I HIGHLY recommend Maria.

Morgan is absolutely amazing with our pets. She stepped into place seamlessly in our time of need and I couldnt be more greatful for her help. Extremely respectful, polite, and dependable; always going above and beyond what is asked of her. Plus, the dog loves her!
