“Hailey was absolutely amazing! I hired her to watch my two cats while I was away on a long trip, and she did such a wonderful job. She checked in every day, kept me updated, and made sure my fur babies were happy and cared for. I came home to two very content cats and a spotless space. I’ll definitely be hiring Hailey again for future trips. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Great! Buddha and Cookie warmed up to Debbie right away. She always makes sure they eat and walk so that I don't have to worry about them while I'm working a long day. Quick to update me on the drop in visit and if any problems occur. Also quick to fix a problem! Will continue to book.”

About: Hi! I'm Jill and I'd love to help take care of your pet - whether that's an afternoon walk, a pet sit or anything in between. I've had pets of my own for many years, including my cat Dot who passed in 2014 and my dog of 14 years Coconut, who I lost in 2026. Now that I don't have pets of my own, I want to spread the love and care for others' animals. I'm a single working professional with a flexible work and volunteering schedule, which means I can spend ample time with your baby - whether they want lots of activity or just someone to hang with them on the couch. Over the years, my family has had many pets (my mom fostered animals out of our home), and my sister is a vet (always on call for me as needed!). I have also watched others' pets for many years (mostly dogs and cats) and have experience with senior pets, diabetic pets and asthmatic pets. Yes, I know how to give a cat an inhaler :) I know your pet is a precious family member, and I will ensure s/he is in the best possible care under my watch - whether it's for a walk or an overnight stay. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! Please reach out with any questions or for more references. I'm currently working remote (from home) and have an extremely flexible schedule. I am also somewhat mobile and willing to travel for pet sitting. I believe routine is important for animals and for people. I will do my best to ensure consistency in your pet's routine - whether that's feeding times, exercise, play time, pet time. I know every animal and every situation is unique. I want to understand how you and your pet feel safest and most comfortable so that I can continue that care.

“This was the first time I ever left my dog for an extended period of time with other than family. Carrie was excellent with my senior large fur baby. Who can also be stubborn. There is no doubt that she is an experienced professional working with animals as well as customers. Carrie was always timely neat, and above all caring. About: I’ve had the joy of growing up with both cats and dogs of all sizes, so I’m very comfortable caring for a wide range of pets. I also have experience with reptiles from my younger years as a dedicated reptile enthusiast. In addition to general pet care, I have hands-on experience raising puppies, including helping others with potty training and basic routines, as well as caring for senior dogs. I’ve looked after elderly pets with special needs, such as a blind Jack Russell who required extra assistance and medication management. I currently work part time for a delivery company with a flexible schedule to work around my pet care duties and have an open availability throughout the week While caring for your pets in your home, I maintain consistent feeding schedules, prioritize their safety, and ensure they receive regular outdoor time for exercise and bathroom needs. I also keep litter boxes and living areas clean and well maintained. Additionally, I provide regular updates after each visit or walk so you can feel confident and informed about your pet’s care.
About: I love animals and have been caring for them since I can remember. Whether it be my own pets, volunteering, or as a job. I strive to be thorough and responsible with my care, not only for your satisfaction, but because I want your babies to be as comfortable as possible! I have ample time throughout the week to dedicate to sitting though it will change periodically due to potential work schedule changes or school or personal plans My care will vary depending on your wishes and the personality of your pets! In general, I prefer to clean the litter box periodically throughout the day (for dogs bathroom breaks every two hours or less is optimal), as well as replace their water 2-3 times. I believe intellectual stimulation everyday is important via playing or other new experiences. I also own adjustable harnesses for supervised outdoors time so long as that is something you’re comfortable with.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - South Venice
We took a day trip to Orlando and Faye was kind enough to care for our babies while we were gone! She sent many photos and updates throughout the day. She took care of our pups perfectly! If we take any more day trips we would love to have Faye love on our babes again! We would 100% recommend her to others!

We are so grateful to have found Nichole. Our two Cairn Terrier brothers like being home and we prefer having them there, especially compared to the stress and expense of taking them to a kennel. We had a great meet & greet with Nichole and our pups took to her immediately. This was a difficult trip for us (mom’s funeral), and getting updates and photos from Nichole has been very comforting. Her enthusiasm and professionalism have helped make this trip so much better and opened the door for future travels knowing our dogs are very well cared for. Thank you, Nichole, for being excellent.

Maria was wonderful! Extremely attentive to the crew, and she communicated throughout which helped make my time away with my family very relaxing. Her personality is positive and upbeat, and she's very conscientious. She'll be my 1st choice going forward when I need a pet caregiver. I HIGHLY recommend Maria.

Morgan is absolutely amazing with our pets. She stepped into place seamlessly in our time of need and I couldnt be more greatful for her help. Extremely respectful, polite, and dependable; always going above and beyond what is asked of her. Plus, the dog loves her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
