“Thank you Jennifer for caring for Bailey. It was nice to get pictures and updates while we were gone. We’re very glad you and your family enjoyed having him in your home.”

“Morgan was great to work with. The dogs were well taken care of and from pictures shared, I could tell they were very comfortable in her home. I was dealing with some weather related travel issues and I appreciated her communication and flexibility.”

“First I want to say thank you Monica!! At the last minute we needed a sitter for our young little fur baby and Monica was so wonderful and worked with me and was able to take care of him. More than take care of him but love him. He had so much fun and made puppy friends. Amazing experience 😁”

“Brittany and Joe were fantastic and took care of FiFi for 10 days. They were caring, attentive and communicative. FiFi loved snuggling with them in bed and running around their fenced in backyard. Will definitely use them again!”

“We had our pair of dogs stay with this family and they treated our dogs very nicely. A mature Golden retriever and a young and energetic aussie Sheppard. They exell at comunications, and are willing to go the extra mile. Highly recommend.”

“Morgan was amazing. Very communicative and sent pics daily. My dog seemed to really enjoy his time. Would recommend her to anyone. She lives on a large plot of land away from any city.”

“Corinne was so kind and loving with my dogs! She treated them with such care . I am so thankful for her. “Arrow had a wonderful stay at Kimber’s I received daily photos and videos of Arrow doing his favorite things! Kimber’s home is beautiful inside and out! I highly recommend! ❤️❤️❤️”

About: I’ve had pets since I was a young girl. There was always a dog and cats in the house, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I recently lost my dog to old age, and I really miss that daily companionship, which is why I’d love to help care for other people’s pets. I’ve pet sat for friends, family, and neighbors over the years, and now I’m ready to open that up to more families. I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats, and I have two cats of my own. I’m patient, attentive, and I treat every pet like they’re my own—making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m reliable and easy to communicate with, and I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. I’m home most of the day, so I have a flexible schedule and can give your pet plenty of attention and care. I do have two kids, so with a little advance notice I’m happy to plan ahead and make sure I’m fully available for your pet’s needs. I’m an active person and enjoy going on walks, so dogs will get plenty of movement and time outside. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and sitting during the week and weekends, and I can adjust to your pet’s routine to keep things consistent and stress-free. I have a fenced backyard, and pets are always supervised when they’re outside. Most of the day they’ll be with me, so they’re not left alone for long. I handle all feeding, walks, and care myself to keep things consistent and done right. I have two cats that are indoor and outdoor. They’re friendly and used to being around other animals, but they mostly keep to themselves and won’t bother your pet. My home is calm, clean, and safe. My kids are gentle and love animals, and I always make sure interactions are respectful and supervised. I treat every pet like my own and do my best to make them feel comfortable and at home while you’re away.
“Dana accepted our request within a week of the stay, so we were so thankful she could fit us in last minute. Our cat is very nervous around new people and hides the first couple days but Dana let us know that she came out to eat and sit near her which doesn’t happen everytime. We felt a good energy the moment we met Dana and felt comfortable leaving our baby there with her. She sent us photos and words each day of the stay, I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out again if needed. Thank you so much Dana!!!!”

“Lisa was a perfect match for our little Mia! We highly recommend Lisa to anyone that needs to leave their fur baby in the best of hands! This was the first time we have had to leave Mia with someone that we really didn’t know well as well as using the Rover app. After our very first meet and greet it honestly felt like a huge weight was lifted. I wasn’t as nervous about leaving her. Lisa sent regular updates and it was obvious when we came home to get Mia that she was well cared for and had enjoyed her. It was very obvious Mia had made herself at home. Thank you Lisa, we will definitely be calling on you again.”

“My pup’s tail wagged with excitement when she recognized she was at Lana’s! Knowing that she was getting lots of snuggles and in a safe and comfortable home while we were away made leaving her for seven days a whole lots easier. She loves having the company of other dogs too! Ty”

“Very friendly and their living arrangements are great. Very flexible and my dog Charly loves it there. They have sent me numerous videos of Charly since I left her. They are wondrful”

“Claudia and family were wonderful. It was our fur baby’s first time being away from us overnight for days , and we were nervous on how he would take it. Claudia was so sweet and loving and we appreciated how she went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and happy. The fully fenced outdoor area is awesome, we live on an apartment so his outside time is limited , so having the opportunity to play freely outside was so cute to see. Claudia makes sure to send videos and photos which made us happy and relaxed to know he was in great hands.”

Lisa is wonderful! Bosco can be a little finicky and ‘moody’— and certainly doesn’t like kennels. So we tried Rover and were blessed enough to find Lisa! Thank you again— and will likely check in with Lisa to make sure she’s available before even planning our next trip!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
