About: I’ve always had a genuine love for animals, especially dogs, and being around them comes naturally to me. I’m patient, calm, and very in tune with their behavior and energy. I’ve also had hands-on experience helping care for dogs during pregnancy and birth, which taught me how to stay attentive, gentle, and responsible in more sensitive situations. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or simply keeping them company, I focus on making sure each dog feels safe, understood, and comfortable. Spending time with dogs is something that genuinely brings me peace and helps me stay grounded. I enjoy having a routine, and caring for animals fits naturally into my day. I currently have a flexible schedule, so I’m able to be consistent and reliable throughout the week for walks and drop-in visits. I like creating a calm, positive environment for dogs while also making sure they get the attention and care they need. If I could, I would create a space for dogs in need where they feel safe, loved, and cared for. Safety and trust are very important to me. I always follow the pet parent’s instructions closely and make sure pets are secure, comfortable, and never put in unsafe situations. During walks, I stay aware of the environment, avoid hazards like hot pavement, and keep a close eye on the dog’s behavior. I also provide updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
About: I've grown up always having some around me. From cats to dogs to every farm animal, I've had it. I also took part in the FFA and 3 years of agriscience and small animal courses. I am just getting out of high school, so I am looking for something part-time that I can enjoy doing over the summer before leaving for college! I understand how important it is to have someone you trust to take care of your furry family members while you're away. I take pet safety very seriously and follow all necessary protocols to ensure that your pet is happy and healthy during their stay. This includes maintaining a clean environment, providing appropriate nutrition, and monitoring their behavior for any signs of discomfort or illness.I take pet safety very seriously and follow all necessary protocols to ensure that your pet is happy and healthy during their stay. I understand that pets are part of the family, and we treat them as such. You can trust me to provide the love and care your pets deserve, and give you peace of mind while you're away. I will send you regular updates and photos, so you can see just how much fun your pets are having while you're gone.

About: I have been a cat mom and dog mom, so I am very equipped to handle all types of unique personalities! I know how to make them feel comfortable, and figure out exactly what they need. I currently work part time, so I am very available to prioritize your pets needs! I have a flexible schedule, and am eager to help! I want to treat your pet and your home with respect! Being a cat mom myself, I know how special our furbabies are, and will make sure they are well taken care of, and that you are kept up to date the whole time.
About: I grew up with multiple kinds of animals, mostly dogs. I’ve dog sat for friends and family and they have all loved me with their furry friends. I currently work at a restaurant so my schedule is different every week but I’m usually available to dog watch at your home in the mornings and afternoons before 4pm. I will let them outside to play frequently if you have a fenced in yard. If not, I’ll take them for walks and let them “do their thing” as we walk. I’ll play with them and give them treats as long as it’s okay and feed them if need be or if asked to.
“Brittany did a great job coming to feed my cats twice a day while I was away. She followed all of the instructions well. Most importantly, she was very responsive and sent updates and photos which set my mind at ease. Thank you Brittany!”

About: I’ve grown up with all types of dogs I have also worked at a doggy day care where we bathed, maintained their area as well as enjoying enrichments with them. I am currently working a part time job and I would like to use my free time to care and spend time with lovely animals. I like to respect my clients home and really take care of their pets needs. I would want to treat my clients pet the way I want my pet treated in a loving and safe environment .
“I booked Kaitlyn for drop-in visits to look after my elderly kitty-cat while I was away. Kaitlyn was loving and caring toward my pet and was respectful of my house and my space. Kaitlyn really cares about providing good service, and she acted willingly to respond to feedback from me about my needs during the course of my trip. I would book her services again.”
About: I've had a dog for years, and before that I've had a cat for even longer so I understand how to take care of both of them and it's not a burden for me to take care of them because I love these animals! I work at bocca lupo and attend SCF, I'm just doing online school at the moment, but I'm generally available all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, most Wednesdays, Some Sundays, and Friday nights and Saturday mornings. I will make sure your pet gets everything they need, such as the necessities like food, water, and time to go outside, and then I'll make sure it gets a bunch of pets and playtime! About: Hi! I’m a stay-at-home mom and lifelong animal lover, which means your pup will receive plenty of love, attention, and supervision throughout the day—never long hours home alone. I only accept a limited number of dogs at a time so I can provide personalized care and make every guest feel like part of the family. My home has a secure, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely run, play, sniff, and enjoy plenty of outdoor time. Inside, they’ll have a clean, comfortable environment with lots of cuddles, playtime, and opportunities to relax. I do my best to keep your dog’s routine as close to home as possible, whether that means sticking to feeding schedules, administering medication, or providing extra potty breaks and exercise. I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your pet behind, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is simple: for your dog to have so much fun that they’re excited to come back for their next visit. I can’t wait to welcome your furry family member into our home! My boys are now in elementary school, so I have extra time on my hands & wanted to help my husband financially. I also don’t travel much for holidays as I have a large family, so I am around for all your Holiday vacation needs! I follow good instructions, so whatever you say is whatever I do! Guaranteed! I have a big dog and a medium sized dog so I am comfortable with all types & sizes of dogs. I will also leave you a note in regards to everything that happens with your furry love.
About: I have had pets for as long as I can remember. My first pet who truly belonged to me was my black lab, Athena. My family adopted her from Southeastern Guide Dogs, where she was a breeder. Every couple years she would go in heat and deliver puppies at SEGD. One of her puppies in her fourth and last litter, Yogi, was born with a severe overbite. This meant that he was ineligible to become a guide dog and we got to adopt him. I had him from the time he was only a few months old, all the way up to his passing in 2018. By taking care of Athena and Yogi for so many years, I gained a lot of experience in caring for young puppies who need training, large dogs, female dogs in heat, and old dogs who need medicine. I have petsit several times, the main one being when I took care of a very large yellow lab, Caramel. She stayed at my house for three months where I gave her lots of love and care. I am very experienced with animals, and would love to care for any dogs I can. I am very flexible at the moment! I am available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and staying with your pet(s) any day of the week, When taking care of your pet, I will provide food and water according to your pet's specific needs. I've had dogs my whole life and am very comfortable with them. I will take them on walks around the neighborhood, making sure to pick up messes left behind. For cats, I will clean litter boxes at least once daily.
About: I am currently at Unity College majoring in Captive Wildlife Care and Education, and I’m taking online classes and one of them is called Animal Care and Basic Training. I enjoy wildlife. I do have a part time job at Metro Diner in Port Charlotte. I work at Metro Diner - Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 3:30pm. They might ask me to cover for some other co-workers but I will let you know ahead of time. For pet sitting I am available Monday - Thursday 3:45pm to 8:30pm. I’ve always had trouble with getting paid on Rover. I prefer Venmo, Paypal or cash. I take out my dog frequently, I feed him 3 times a day breakfast, lunch and dinner. I give him baths. And I take advice from my classes.
“Jennifer was available last minute for drop in visits with my two dogs and I am so glad to have found her. She took photos of my “boys” and let me know everything was fine. Communication was great.”

“Ev was on time every day. She is very responsible and took excellent care of my cat, Ruthie. She took time to get to know her, play with her and give her treats at each visit. She cleaned up after her Ruthie and let me know how was doing each day I was away. Thank you Ev for keeping my cat content.!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - North Port
This is the first time we have used a pet service for our girl so we were very nervous! But Gretchen was amazing and by the look on her face in pictures, Lexi really likes her! And….she ate and went #2, which she never does with even family watching her!! We will definitely request Gretchen again for our girl!!

Amanda did a fantastic job! She went above and beyond in caring for our dogs. Before booking with her, several people had canceled, but she was up to the task. Stitch had just started insulin injections shortly before we were set to leave him for a trip. She did a wonderful job communicating how everything was going and making us feel confident that he was safe and sound. We would rebook her in a heartbeat.

Jennifer was AMAZING! I have a 9 year old pittie who has some behavior issues when meeting new people and she handled it SO GOOD and had so much patience. She took care of him like he was her own during her drop him visits with him, and I will definitely be booking with her again! Thank you so much Jennifer!
We recently moved to the area and were a bit stressed about finding a reliable pet sitter our dogs would feel comfortable with. Thankfully, we found Catlyn—and we couldn’t be happier! Before committing, she took the time to meet our dogs and get to know them, which gave us so much peace of mind. Her flexibility, clear communication, and genuine care for our pets really stood out. She kept us updated and made sure the dogs were not only safe but truly cared for. You can tell she loves what she does. I’d highly recommend Catlyn to anyone looking for a thoughtful and dependable pet sitter. We're so glad we found her and are looking forward to having her care for our pets again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
